When you think Colorado Mountain Home getaway, this property is what comes to mind! Minutes from the slopes, massive double sided stone GAS fireplace, 21' high vaulted ceiling, and incredible views out floor-to-ceiling windows. This property is offered with your comfort in mind. From luxury bed linens to separate heating controls in each bedroom and bath, you will never want to leave...So just plan to come back again next year!

Three bedrooms with new premium quality mattresses, plus a loft (see below for details). All rooms have been fitted with new linens as of December 2020. New main floor furnishings for Summer 2021. Kitchen remodel Fall 2021.

Oversized master bedroom with sitting area, large closet, vaulted ceilings and an oversized jetted tub and shower. Direct access to rear deck.

Three and half bathrooms: a bath in every bedroom.

New 6-7 person private hot tub on the deck is maintained weekly.

The house features a fully equipped kitchen with a moveable Butcher Block island, new pots and pans, drip coffee, as well as a Keurig system.

Gas fireplace with remote.

Minutes away from the town of historic Crested Butte (3.3 miles) and skiing (1 mile) Free Shuttle to ski area.

Winter Wonderland!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The home is beautiful and there are so many thoughtful touches that make the home just that - a home! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was beyind functional with everything you need to make homemade meals, and the living spaces had more than enough room for our group. We would love to come back! Shuttle service to the mountain was perfect and convenient too.

You won’t want to leave!

Very thoughtfully-equipped, well-decorated home in a fantastic location on the mountain. One of the best places we have stayed. Great communication with host. The loft is as described- sturdy but steep- and not for small children. Plenty of space for us. We hope to return.

Wonderful family vacation

Our family and extended family had a wonderful time staying at this house. It was clean and quiet with plenty of room for dinners, family games and relaxing around the fire watching our hockey team or just being together. Kitchen was well appointed and the house was close to the ski area. All enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes! Also, we really enjoyed the piano for some evening entertainment and working on chopsticks with my grandson! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Overall the property was great. However, really need to fix the broken kitchen window, makes a horrible first impression. There was no gas in the outside grill, no trash bags.This needs to be remedied

You are right Randa, we certainly did miss a few things between you and the last guest. July was a crazy time in Crested Butte for our property management team. I am not sure how they missed that broken window. We did get it secured right away. I was up there this past weekend and it looks like I have found a place to get the parts needed to repair it properly. Likewise the maintenance crew usually does check the gas, but they must have missed it this time. We do keep an extra bottle of gas filled in the garage. I am also going to add an email to all of our guests asking if there are any supplies they have used up that need to be replenished or any maintenance items like that window that need to be repaired. We are new to this as of December 2020 and have spent a bunch of money on new furniture, rugs, window coverings and decorations. We have a whole new kitchen coming in the fall for December rentals. I appreciate you giving us your feedback, it will help to make our mountain home better for the next guest.

7 of us had a wonderful week long stay at David’s house. House is very conveniently located. It’s extremely comfortable in all respects – comfortable furniture and beds, great lighting, well stocked with everything imaginable in kitchen and bathrooms. Also, great selection of books, albums, music streaming and TV streaming services. Lots of excellent dry wood for fireplace. David was a pleasure to speak with and quickly responded to any questions. The house itself is very well maintained with lots of space, great layout! Hot tub was also fantastic! Definitely want to stay here again in the future.

Amazing White Christmas

Wonderful stay at this lovely home. Was perfect for 7 adults. Beautiful views, roaring fire with plenty of wood, amazing well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, comfortable bedding, close to ski drop off, overall we loved it and would stay again. From what I understand, Crested Butte received a once in a decade snowfall, 42 inches in 24 hours and another 12 inches 24 hours later - this didn't hinder us much as the drive was snow plowed within a few hours. The shuttle was close enough to catch to slopes in the meantime. My only comment to know ahead of time, we had to drive back to Gunnison to grocery shop. The small grocery stores in Crested Butte didn't have everything we needed. Nor does the Wal-Mart in Gunnison, go to the Safeway. Otherwise, this was a beautiful white Christmas in a beautiful home.

Incredible Ski Vacation

Pictures of the house do not do it justice. The best stocked rental property we have ever been in, and we usually rent 3-4 properties a year. The good: beautiful views, quiet house, tons of space to spread out, oversized garage for gear, everything you could need is here. Beds are really comfy and linens all seem new. Plates and kitchen are great and well stocked. Tons of storage and counter space for cooking for larger groups. Close to slopes and town. The heads up: nothing is bad, this is just so you know going in. These are new owners making great improvements on the house already but one things they cannot change is that you will have to drive to the lifts each day as the shuttles stops are too far to walk to. Bonus is no traffic noise and the way trees are placed you have total privacy. The loft is a great space but as others say the ladder is steep and tough after long days of skiing. We would 100% go back on future visits to Crested Butte.

Good for a large group

From the moment we entered through the front door it was evident there was much attention to detail. The entry had plenty of hooks to hang jackets and trays to hold wet/snowy boots. The main level living room has three separate seating areas that allowed our group of 3 kids and 4 adults to spread out to do everything from watching TV and playing board games to enjoying quiet space to read by the fire. The kitchen is more than adequate to make meals cooked from scratch for larger groups. I'm the cook of the group and found this space to be one of the best stocked kitchens of any short term renta we've occupied. Plenty of serving dishes to make charcuterie, desserts, and serve up a dinner for a large group. Plenty of cooking implements including mixer, blender, pots/pans, and baking dishes. More than enough glassware and wine glasses. And all labeled to make it a breeze to return items to the cupboards. My only request would be a few more baking sheets. Every shower has soap, shampoo, conditioner and plenty of towels. I loved that each bedroom had their own temp control. Beds were very comfy with good sheets and bedding. Lastly the property is a 5minute drive from the base of the ski hill. But, you can also use a free service called First Tracks that provides free shuttle service to ski (it's an app that functions similar to Uber). Also, you're just a 5 minute drive from Snodgrass trailhead where there's snowshoeing, skinning, sledding, building ski jumps for kids.

Crested Butte Family Reunion

Our families thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a lovely setting with the incredible views in every direction. We particularly enjoyed being surrounded by aspen trees. We appreciated how well you provided for our needs and how well organized and easy it was to find things around the house. The kitchen was great with all the utensils, cookware and cups you provided. We all wished we could have had more time in our schedules to stay longer and our four-year-old grandson told his parents he wants to come back every year from now on.

Very nice house, well equipped house. We never got the oven to work - David tried to help us but we are not comfortable with pilot not staying lit. One of the blinds in downstairs bedroom was broken Other than that the house was lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

JIll & I came to Crested Butte three times this summer and fell in love with it. The 4th time we bought this property in December of 2020. Jill travels extensively for work, staying in the better hotels. We have traveled the world together staying in all sorts of places. We know what makes for a great stay away from home and are working hard on the details we know will make your stay special.

We love everything the Crested Butte mountains have to offer. Skiing, hiking, mountain biking, road biking and riding motorcycles on and off road. Soaking in the hot tub or enjoying a fine meal at one of the town's great restaurants always refreshes the mind and body after a hard day of having fun.

We looked at everything available in Crested Butte when we chose this. As soon as we walked in we knew that this was the place. A classic Colorado mountain home, secluded, yet minutes from everything with stunning views all year long. We love it and hope you will too!
