Cottage #11 - Spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay on a private association beach!

Imagine yourself vacationing with all of Cape Cod Bay visible from your beach cottage deck. Envision staying high on a 70 foot dune in a historic 125 year old cottage immortalized by American artist Edward Hopper. Step down the sandy dune to a private beach for a day of fun splashing in the waves or looking for washed in ocean treasures. Then look forward to spectacular sunset vistas and an evening of star gazing with friends and family.

Corn Hill Cottage #11 is well situated for fabulous family beach vacations. The cottage's first floor kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee pot, and just about anything an amateur chef would need to pull together a wonderful seafood feast with family and friends. Celebrate this meal in the dining room complete with seating for 8. The downstairs living room is cozy and artfully decorated with treasures found on beach combing walks. There is a small library and games to play to help you unplug. For those who can't disconnect, a Smart TV and wireless internet is available. The cottage's front porch is a perfect place to enjoy the first sips of coffee hoping to glimpse the occasional passing whale. The second floor bay bedroom has a queen sized bed and a futon and overlooks Cape Cod Bay. Let the sound of the waves carried up on ocean breezes lull you to sleep. There is an additional upstairs bedroom which sleeps two in a queen bed. There is also a comfortable queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room.

The cottage is within a short drive of many restaurants, art galleries, shops, National Seashore beaches, theater, miniature golf, and other entertainment and activity options.

Great family spot

Little Slice of Heaven

This was our first time vacationing in Cape Cod and we hit the lottery with this cottage and host! We had the best time, and our three teens all voted best beach vacation trip. Cottage is adorable and the porch is amazing. We cooked most our meals and the kitchen was all you need. Hosts were more than helpful and we look forward to visiting again next year! Thank you!!!!

This cottage is in such a gorgeous location. A walk to the beach. Sitting on the deck, enjoying the ocean breezes. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves. An easy drive to Provincetown, Wellfleet and the National Seashore. Just perfect.

Cottage on the Cape

This is a lovely small rustic cottage located on a cliff top overlooking the bay side of the Cape. A perfect escape for a small party/family. Property is accurately described and photos are spot on. Terrific hosts. Would highly recommend.

An absolute must recommend!

I’ve used Vrbo several times and the detailed communication from these owners was by far the best. The pictures definitely represented the property well. It was even more lovely and peaceful in person with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect. You’re in a gorgeous quiet area with access to lots of activities and great food. Highly recommend!

Amazing!

We had a fantastic time here! The view is unmatched and location is great. Very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature, but also close to Jams, shops, restaurants in Wellfleet and PTown. The stairs to the beach are definitely challenging, but we went up and down them everyday, sometimes twice a day. The beach is beautiful. Wish I was still there!

Magical summer experience!

Comfortable cottage with spectacular view

This Corn Hill cottage has a great location. It's quiet, near to great beaches and convenient for activities. The cottage has comfortable furniture, lovely decor including good repro paintings of ships and whaling scenes, a roomy and well stocked kitchen. It feels spacious for the actual size.The sunset-facing view is unobstructed and for us, the best feature was the covered porch facing the bay. We hope to rent this wonderful spot again.

A Special Place

We loved the all-encompassing peace and quiet at this property. The charming cottage had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. We spent most of our time on the covered porch listening to the waves and the sounds of nature. The sunsets from the porch were awe inspiring. This is Cape Cod as it should be, simple yet wonderful.

Beautiful Corn Hill

Wonderful 125-year-old classic cottage on the dunes of Corn Hill. Cottage is lovely: nicely preserved original feel with a thoughtfully equipped kitchen that has all you need. Back porch supplies extraordinary views of Cape Cod Bay and Provincetown. Simply perfect Truro mornings, afternoons, and sunsets. Very easy communication. This is a rare and special place.

Very peaceful

Was a nice quaint cottage nestled overlooking the ocean. My only criticism would be the access to the beach.. steps very steep and kept me from venturing down. We did venture into Provincetown and enjoyed the beaches close by. Relaxation was my intention and that I what we got! 😊

The Atlantic Ocean from front porch!

Have been staying at different types of places in Truro over the last 3 years. By far this was our favorite and perfect for us. We do NOT like modern, fancy , shiny and new. It has everything you need to cook at home. Off season was so peaceful. View can not be beat.

Perfect family getaway

This is our second time staying in Cottage #11 and it's perfection. It's nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen. Perfectly clean. there are lots of games and "extras" like a spy glass to look across the bay and beautiful oyster tray for serving up Wellfleet oysters! It's like staying at a friend's home who has really good taste! We enjoy our coffee every morning on the cottage porch looking over the water and the sunsets are magical.

Spectacular

Spectacular view, spectacular cottage! I really enjoyed the authentic essence of this cottage and it's location. I imagine that 90% of this property is just the same as the day it was built. The kitchen and bath have been updated but very simply stated to mirror the original construction. This was a vacation that was one to be treasured and remembered for years to come.

Fabulous trip!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful seaside cottage. The private beach was a dream and the neighbors were lovely. The steps are steep but nothing you can’t manage with kids. The cottage had everything you would need and was rustic and luxurious at the same time. The owners took care in decorating and designing the space. The view from the porch was second to none. We will hopefully be back!!!

My wife and I purchased Cottage #8 initially and now Cottage #11 to keep my roots on the Cape so that my children can have these same experiences.
