Beach Walk Unit 28 Lot 106. Beach Walk in The Sea Ranch is the perfect retreat to relax, rejuvenate and re-connect with the important things in life. Beautiful, serene vistas from both decks, an inviting spa, updated, well-appointed kitchen are all ready for you. Listen to the sound of the ocean, star gaze at night, and walk on some of the most beautiful ocean bluff trails you will ever see. Our home can accommodate six people with a king bed in the primary bedroom and queen beds in both the guest bedroom and loft. We are dog and kid friendly too! My wife and I have traveled all over the world, but Sea Ranch remains our favorite place to spend time just the two of us or with family and friends. If you have been here, then you already know. If not, come experience this very special place yourself.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.
Maximum number of vehicles shall be 3 (three), parked in driveway. No RV's
Maximum occupancy is 6 for this home.

We loved our stay in this house and cannot wait to go back. It was a lovely place, great location, and very nice management. The kitchen was extremely equipped. The directions for everything were very clear and everything was in nice condition.

Our problem was with the lighting as we are readers! We could hardly see to do hair in the master bath and the 2nd bedroom lighting wasn't much better. Also the lights in the window seats were much too low and one was totally missing. This may be a small thing to some, I get that, but really? Yes, we could have gone out and bought a bunch of bulbs, but we shouldn't have to. Yes, I would recommend this home, but with a warning about the lights

The ocean view, the hot tub and the proximity to the hiking trails are its best features. We never turned on the TV but instead watched beautiful sunsets and later a sky filled with stars.

Great location but needs a little attention

Reviewer Comments: Given no issues, this property would have been great but the showers are less then desirable and the master bed seemed like it didn’t fit the frame and the box spring was just under the frame. It would have been nice to know the ant problem ahead of the trip so we could have brought things from home to be prepared to address the issue during our stay. Otherwise, location was great. Kitchen was stocked and functional for great dinners spent with family.

We are so sorry you had to deal with these plus the ants which seem to come and go. The ants seem to be a consistent challenge throughout The Sea Ranch. Coastal Heaven

Such a beautiful property, great location, easy communication with property manager. Fireplace stopped working but property manager was quick to send out a repair company. No ones fault parts required to fix it needed ordered but if you are renting close to this review just confirm it’s up and working as it is a highlight of the property especially on cool rainy days. Hot tub was perfect at sunset, a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Beautiful Weekend Getaway!

We had a great getaway with our son and pups. I forgot most places in the Sea Ranch don't have fences, so remember you will need to have a pooch who is a really good listener or have your leash at the ready for pottie breaks. The house is very clean and as mentioned before, well stocked. If there is something specific you need in the kitchen, just bring it with. But they have most everything you would need. I highly recommend for a family or three couples. Plenty of room.

Beautiful property - great location!

This was our first time staying in this part of The Sea Ranch - it's a great location - close to beautiful cliff side trails, quick grocery runs to Gualala and far enough away from the highway to be very peaceful. We stayed here while our son was at camp nearby - very welcoming for dogs, and quite clean with a great kitchen. There were a few minor items I ended up buying for the kitchen to make it easier to cook at home, but otherwise the kitchen was large, modern and well-equipped. The bathrooms were not updated but large and clean. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens. There were some yellow jackets on the patio and I have made the manager aware of this, realizing that the property is in the country and this type of insect does live here too! Overall a very relaxing vacation with our dogs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really comfortable and lovely home. Not fancy. Just right for our 3-person, 1-dog family. This house does not have absolute privacy—houses fairly close on either side—but with very few people around, it was no big deal. The hot tub was clean and luxurious; the WiFi was more than adequate; and the house has everything you need for a deeply relaxing time. Great, well-stocked kitchen. But note that the stove is electric, not gas, as advertised. We also found the rental agents really helpful and responsive. Of course all the wonderful walking trails are right there, too.

Peaceful and wonderful - just ignore the sheep!

We spent three nights here with our little doxies. We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and well stocked. We really appreciated all the games that they had. The hot tub with the ocean view is exactly why we booked this place and it did not disappoint! The amount of trails with breathtaking ocean views was such a blessing. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet.. that is when the 100’s of sheep that were quiet literally all over the property.. not making noise. I’m still a little confused about why there were hundreds of sheep in the neighborhood though? They are quite loud, so i feel that should have been mentioned somewhere. We would definitely go back, but at least know what to expect next time. Things to note: property was wonderful but the ants were frustrating. We learned that they were coming from the sink drains. So if you use the raid that was under the sink and spray it in the drains it really helped keep them away. Lastly do not book this listing w VRBO. They charge ridiculous fees to just host it on their platform. Go to the actual website of Beach Rentals and book directly from there! Way less fees! Can’t wait to go back to Sea Ranch!

In regard to the sheep in your neighborhood, here is an excerpt from the shepherds website, giving a little more detail: "Our sheep herd has been grazing on The Sea Ranch since 2002, as a natural alternative to gas powered weed whackers or controlled burning. By using prescriptive grazing, our flock of 320 mature ewes (a mature breeding female sheep) is moved throughout The Sea Ranch to munch on tall grasses in the common areas between houses, lots, and private property. Our general rule of thumb is to graze along the mow line of each lot or house." We look forward to you staying with us again soon!

Great House and Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been coming to Sea Ranch for over 50years. We were a party of 4 adults, 1 infant and 1 dog. The main floor accommodations worked well for us, but if you need access to the 3rd bedroom the spiral staircase to the loft is very challenging. The kitchen and dining areas were well equipped for all our cooking needs. The deck is dog safe but there is no outdoor space for pets to do their business without being on leash. The very best aspect of this house is the relatively short walk to 2 of the best beaches at Sea Ranch, Walk on Beach and Shell Beach. Neither of these beaches require stair access.

We’ve rented homes through Sea Ranch Beach Rentals for many years. They offer excellent and friendly service; we highly recommend them.

I also liked being towards the north end of Sea Ranch since it made it super convenient to go into Gualala for food, etc. I had my dog with me and he loved it too. The house was very clean & well-maintained too.
