Amazing home with beatiful views
My wife and I loved our trip to the bluffs at sea ranch. From waking up to the sight of the Pacific, to hiking along the bluffs adjacent to the house, to exploring the small beach towns along the 1. It was a truly wonderful experience and we plan to return in the fall. The house itself is great, comfortable, and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need too. We loved it!
Sea Ranch Beauty
This is the best home in Sea Ranch! If you are a fan of nature, connecting through disconnecting and cooking, this is a great place. This home boasts breathtaking ocean views and is just steps from the bluffs and endless trails. We saw deer every morning, fox, dolphins, seals and (my husband claims) a whale. The kitchen is well-appointed and if you like to cook, you'll love that the all-clad cookware and plethora of kitchen gadgets are well within reach. We had a lovely time and will be back as soon as time permits!
We enjoyed our stay. The house was tidy and comfortably. There is a view from most of the rooms. You can hear the ocean and easily follow the trail to the beach.
Charming home with beautiful ocean views
Charming home and our second time here. Only hiccup was the grill had an empty gas tank and when I informed the owner he said it was tenants responsibility. Really!??? There should be a spare tank and housekeeper should check the spare tank to see if it needs to be filled so tenant can change tanks out if gas runs out. Aside from having to pan sear our Salmon unexpectedly the first night we enjoyed the property and caught glimpses of quite a few whale pods migrating North.
Lovely Sea Ranch home with gorgeous view
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great - just a short walk to the path overlooking the ocean and spectacular views from the house. The house is just as listed: airy and modern, immaculately clean, nicely furnished, very complete kitchen, plenty of towels and blankets. The host was terrific- he generously allowed us to enter when we arrived a little early, and responded immediately to our call when a pipe sprung a leak. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again.
Good, but with important limitations
This well maintained property is about 100 yards from the cliff and is very good for a couple, or a family with one older child. The master bedroom suite is lovely and the loft sleeping area is very serviceable. If there is a second couple however, the disparity between the bedrooms is stark. The downstairs bedroom is cramped and inconvenient. Guests must store luggage and hang their clothes in the hallway and walk 20-plus feet through a laundry room to reach a bathroom that, though spacious, has no counter area for sundries, or hooks for hanging towels or clothes. We enjoyed the decor, but some might find it a little cluttered. The most annoying aspect of the stay was having to haul off and dispose of our own garbage and recycling.
Thanks for visiting my home - As stated in the description, this house was built for a childless couple and the guest bedroom was not a priority. We believe that we have priced it accordingly and that it is a great value for the right group. With return visitors year-after-year, the property has always been well suited for smaller groups. FYI - My housekeeper takes the trash upon departure. Not sure why you thought you needed to take it with you. Sorry about that.
