North Captiva Dunes vacation rentals

Our family of 14 rented “Come Together” and it was such a wonderful time. We would love to go back! Dream vacation! Owners were the best! Kale was so responsive and made sure we had a great time. Treated our littles so well!! Nothing but positive things to say.

The home is beautiful! It has every amenity you could ever need. The pool and lower level outside you could live in. Also, the location has the biggest beach on the whole island just steps away. Perfect vacation!

We had a wonderful week of relaxing and being unplugged. The house was so well thought out and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the deck watching the sunset and listening to the waves. The walk or golf cart ride to the beach was super easy. We will be coming back for another stay!

My wife and I, daughter, son-in-law and two grandkids stayed at this wonderful property for ten days in January, 2025. It was everything we had hoped it would be and then some and worked very well for our group. The open floor plan in the living area with amazing views was particularly nice and featuring a huge screen television, well appointed kitchen and very large screened in patio. The location is also ideal being only a few steps away from the beach. The pool area with the bar and big screen television were also thoroughly enjoyed by our entire group on a daily basis. And I would be remiss not to mention property manager, Jennifer, and her assistant, Gage, both of whom could not have been more attentive or helpful. The property owner, Shanai was also very accessible and helpful during the booking process. Like most folks, we were a bit concerned with the condition of the property and the island in general due to the number of recent hurricanes; and while there is ample evidence of the hurricane aftermath, we did not find it a distraction in any way to the natural beauty or vibe of the island. In fact, we actually enjoyed driving around in our golf cart to survey the hard work being done to clean up the island. So if you're looking of a different sort of vacation, one that's short on shopping malls, fancy restaurants and cars, but long on amazing beauty with some of the most welcoming locals you'll find anywhere, Beachy Keen on North Captiva is your place.

houe was beachy, and clean. views were very nice. communication with Cheryl was excellent! really enjoyed our stay. Alot of logistics to arrange before trip with ferry, and groceries etc but was totally worth it to us. if you are looking for night life this us not your place to vacation, but if relaxation and a beaytiful beach is what you want it is perfec!!

We chose Compass Rose because it was close to the beach with breathtaking views! Our party of 7 adults & 1 infant had plenty of room. Actually one room remained empty. I chose the mezzanine so I could wake up to spectacular ocean views! I do not love heights so I was glad the spiral staircase leading to the crows nest was short. It was extremely relaxing to sit in the white Adirondack chairs & watch the waves. Bliss! We loved the property manager!!! We will return again!!

The Perfect Shell comes as advertised, stocked with everything you need, very clean and comfortable, a true home away from home! Amy and Ken are the best host, very responsive to questions. The Tortuga management team does a first class job delivering luggage and groceries. North Captiva is a unique island that provides a stress free, relaxed family vacation. This was our family second visit to North Captiva and The Perfect Shell in which our kids picked over Disney!!

Very nice well kept home. Ac was excellent and the outdoor shower was a hit.
