The cabin was very clean and accurately described. The beautiful windows provided a great source of natural lighting. Having each bedroom on its own level was a great layout. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil, dish, or gadget needed for meal preparation. The host communicated updates on the day of check in. I would enjoy staying here again.

We had a great time at the cabin with our children and grandchildren for Thanksgiving. The beds were comfortable, the view was beautiful and close to McCaysville and Blue Ridge. Love the outdoor fireplace and the grandkids loved the jacuzzi.

This was our 2nd stay at the recharge station! We absolutely loved it as did our pups! We love having the completely enclosed top porch with the fire place, so you can relax and not have to keep your dogs on a lead! They love just sitting and watching the surroundings! From the robes for the jacuzzi, all types of coffee machines, 2 refrigerators…it has everything we could want and then some. The owners are extremely easy to deal with and cater to your every need. We highly recommend !

Pros - Property was clean and a well appointed kitchen and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Location was great and we lacked for nothing whereas accommodations are concerned. Great place for a family with a need for three bedrooms.Cons - when we arrived we could not get into the unit as the code given to us did not work so we texted the owner and he then repeated the instructions to us which did not work. We were then asked to open the lock box to get the physical key which opened the door and then the code was reset. Could not turn on the fan in the great room and the owner did not know how. Could not get the TV to work and the owner did not know how, The bedrooms we were very hot and we could not control the temperature as the hos had programed the thermostats remotely and after a couple of text messages the problem was fixed. Not a very good experience interacting with the host.

Thank you for recognizing that the cabin was clean, spacious, well equipped, and ideally located. We are disappointed, however, that these operational difficulties resulted in a three-star rating. The door code provided was valid, but when the guests were unable to operate the lock, we immediately provided access through the backup key and reset the code for their convenience. The ceiling fan, television, and thermostat were also fully operational. The fan and television are controlled by their respective remote controls, and the temperature issue was resolved promptly through text messages. The air-conditioning system was newly installed less than two weeks before this stay and was functioning properly. We responded to every message and successfully resolved each concern raised during the stay. None of the issues involved a defect in the cabin or its equipment. After 157 consecutive five-star reviews, we believe this rating does not fairly reflect either the quality of the property or the assistance provided.
