Located on beautiful Anastasia Island, this 1920's fully renovated luxury apartment is walking distance to historic St Augustine via the Bridge of Lions and biking distance to St Augustine Beach. In the early Florida boom period of the 1920's, British developer D.P. Davis fell in love with St. Augustine and designed the Davis Shores neighborhood right over the Bridge of Lyons on Anastasia Island.

Perfect in every way

This property exceeded our expectations. Unit was super clean, like new and the ideal location to walk over the Bridge of Lions into historic St Augustine. Neighborhood was both quiet and safe. Check in was a breeze and property manager was very helpful. We couldn’t have asked for anything more than this for our stay!

Fabulous location

Lovely property, modern decor. Everything was in working order. Nice little patio in the rear of property w/firepit. Half mile to walk to old town St Augustine via the Bridge of Lions. Easy drive to St Augustine Beach (free parking at the pier).

Ideal Location

The biggest advantage of this property is the location. An easy walk just over the bridge to town (1/2 mile). Also some very good bar/restaurants even closer on Anastasia Island. Several beach options near by. We would absolutely come back! I always try to offer some constructive criticism because at the end of the day no place is perfect. The water pressure stinks, I felt like I was showering under an eye dropper, and it is time for a fresh coat of paint... Once again these are knit picks.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was exactly as described in the listing. A very quiet neighborhood and a very pretty 15 minute walk over the intracoastal waterway into the historicdowntown. Check-in was seamless.

Weekend Stay

Property was fantastic! Space was perfect, bed was comfy. Provided some snacks and a few bottles of water upon arrival. The door is a code lock so no need for a key! The water pressure in the shower has to be addressed. A new shower head is definitely needed. Location is great too! Highly recommend this property.

July 4 weekend in St Augustine

We really enjoyed staying in the apartment and would stay here again next time we visit St Augustine. Ideal location just over the bridge from downtown. The apartment is very clean, spacious and well equipped with all you need. Check in process was seem less and I would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice place

My wife and I stayed 3 nights and the place was very nice. Newly renovated and everything new. Was comfortable, kitchen had all the amenities for cooking and location was easy to everything. Parking on the tight street was fine. Easy check in/out and timely. Definitely stay again.

Quiet, Clean, and close to downtown

This one bedroom apartment was very clean and neat. It has a large kitchen and everything is updated and in great working order. Unlike some VRBOs, this place had coffee, creamer, garbage bags, laundry detergent, and toilet paper for us to use...which was great. This place is in a very quiet neighborhood about 1/2 mile from downtown. We walked everywhere. The owner/property manager was very communicative and entry into the apartment was super easy. The apartment building looks historic, but the inside has been renovated and everything looks new and updated. They even had a small box fan in the bedroom!! The bed was large and very comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a large step in shower and it was immaculate. They had a large screen TV in the living room with Youtube TV streaming service that worked great and was very easy to operate. We've fallen in love with St. Augustine and all of the city's friendly people. This unit is 1.9 miles to the Amphitheater, and we walked to a show we had tickets for....sidewalks all the way to the amphitheater and the downtown area. The only place we had to drive to was the beach and there's a ton of free public parking there, so that was very easy as well. I highly recommend this rental!
