Enjoyed our stay. The condo was spacious, quiet and close to all markets and resturants. Happy we had assigned parking and not have to hunt for a spot.
The building maintenance is sorely lacking. When you reach the condo building from the parking lot, the approach is well worn. The concrete walkway before the stairs had paint chipped away and the stairs were dirty and desperately needed a paint job Right by the door to the condo was cluttered with debris that hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. This was a precursor to the condo.
The condo is EXTREMELY outdated. Flashback to the 70‘s. The furniture is VERY basic with very worn, dirty and dated carpet throughout living and bedroom areas.
When we first arrived, there was a freshener plugged into an outlet that smelled terrible. Terrible musty smell we thought would go away with windows opened but it never did. I’m sure the old carpeting was contributing to the smell. Anyone who knows Florida’s climate, rugs equal mildew/mold/etc. and the smell was obvious. These rugs throughout were old, matted down and in some areas stained. There was even some debris on the rugs upon arrival from a poor vacuuming job.
There were housekeeping issues everywhere.
Very bothersome – Closed Circuit Cameras.
The owner has secured (locked) about 50% of the cabinets, closets, dresser drawers, etc.
The internet is terrible.
The adjoining walls between units (Master Bedrooms in another unit are back to back in design) are not soundproofed. You can clearly hear conversations, however our experience was the loudest snorer we have ever heard in the adjacent unit.
Etc.

I understand that our condo did not meet your standards. We love our little condo and its location and really want our guests to enjoy their vacation. We offer 45 pictures of our condo and it is exactly as pictured. Actually, new carpeting was installed in the living room and dining room less than 3 months ago (November 2023). We take the cleanliness of the condo very seriously, it is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests. I do apologize for any musty smell. It was unoccupied for a couple weeks prior to your visit so I am guessing that it needed to be aired out a bit. I am sorry you did not like my choice of air freshener. I wish you had contacted our property manager regarding the musty smell or the internet issues (the internet service in the complex was in the process of getting switched to a new plan and it is possible the modem needed to be rebooted). I am quite certain the property management could have offered you a solution or they could have contacted us directly and we could have helped you out. We have a full sized closet and full sized dresser available in each bedroom for our guests. It is common that vacation rentals have “owner’s closets.” We have received nothing but good reviews and we feel bad that you did not enjoy our little beach hideaway as much as we do.
