Deschutes Nest is our thoughtfully updated modern craftsman perched two blocks from the Deschutes River, Mt Bachelor shuttle, Hayden Homes Amphitheater, and Deschutes Brewery. This ideal Westside location is a short walk to the restaurants, cafes & breweries in the Old Mill District & Galveston Avenue, walkable to downtown Bend, and easy access to Mt. Bachelor and the Cascade Lakes. Deschutes Nest is the perfect launch pad for your Bend adventures and the cozy home you return to and recharge.

We came in after dark. It was easy to find and it was bright and cozy after a long travel day. This is an amazing location, we loved walking our dogs to Old Mill and to Downtown. What made it better is coming back to this charming place. Thanks for a great stay!

The condo was just as you see in photos. It was well equipped and comfortable. The location was great, close to Old Mill area and down town.

Best location

This was our second stay at this place and the location is perfect, especially if you’re planning on doing the river float. We prefer staying in an apartment over a hotel and this one has just the right amount of space for a couple. The bed is a bit small and the place could use a little TLC but overall very clean, well appointed and a good place to stay. Felt like home away from home.

Great property in easy to walk location. I would add a patio umbrella and some steak knives. Nicely furnished and comfortable! Would stay here again. Son who lives in Bend says he wish this were available as a full time rental!

Central and Accessible

This is in walking distance to coffee, Old Mill District, and sooooo many amazing pubs. Not "on the river" but might as well be the walk is so short to watch people float, surf or join them. I feel like the value was great for the ease and security of the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location in Bend

We walked and biked everywhere during our stay - easy access to the Deschutes and Old Mill and amphitheater l. Property has garage, BBQ, kitchen that made time comfortable. Dishes, cutlery, furniture could use updating, bed seemed on small side but overall cozy and functional home base.

Excellent Location!

Our experience the "Deschutes Nest" was amazing from start to finish. The location is walking distance from Hayden Homes Ampitheater, Deschutes Brewery, the river and all the riverwalk has to offer. The home is beautiful, complete with furnishings, full kitchen, spacious bathroom and serene balcony! The check-in/check-out process was easy with the in-home digital screen. The host responded right away when we had a specific questions. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend our time in Bend and highly recommend this location/host!

Fabulous location

Overall very happy with our stay at the nest. Some maintenance issues that were annoying- no light over stove, one burner not working and very slow draining tub. But it was functional and cute! And we absolutely loved the neighborhood. We stayed with our nearly 3 year old. The walking trails were awesome and appreciated a garage for our stroller. And the neighborhood park is great for kids!

Awesome Location

This property was the perfect central location for everything we like to do in Bend. We walked almost everywhere during our stay. Very cute place with everything you need for two people and an awesome little box for things your dog might need. Very helpful information screen in the place that shows all your check-in and check-out information plus any other helpful tips about Bend. The property manager was very communicative and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The only downside was the bed was smaller than we are used to and it was very firm and uncomfortable. Other than that highly recommend the stay here.

He loves the books and toys they have there! We love having a garage for the stroller and his bike too. The W/D is basic but works fine! The place is clean but needs a deep clean. There is moss growing inside in the skylight and window tracks are pretty dirty for example. Other positives- we love Columbia Park just a couple blocks away and walking to the river and Old Mill. In the summer we walked all over town. Lots of food spots and stores nearby. Definitely recommend it and the price is reasonable. One of the front burners still does ignite since our last stay (I did message them about it), but other things were addressed I brought up.

He loves the books and toys they have there! We love having a garage for the stroller and his bike too. The W/D is basic but works fine! The place is clean but needs a deep clean. There is moss growing inside in the skylight and window tracks are pretty dirty for example. Other positives- we love Columbia Park just a couple blocks away and walking to the river and Old Mill. In the summer we walked all over town. Lots of food spots and stores nearby. Definitely recommend it and the price is reasonable. One of the front burners still does ignite since our last stay (I did message them about it), but other things were addressed I brought up.

Nice little place

Very pleasant place to stay. Location was great. Check in check out was super easy. Nice quite spot. We'll be staying here again.
