Perfect family vacation spot!! Located in the Gulf Shores Plant. Resort. Gorgeous home with new furniture and mattresses. Watch your children play in the pool from your front porch or the golfers on the 14th hole of Kiva Dunes from your back porch. Hot tub in the courtyard with 2 pools and sand volleyball court just steps away. The boardwalk at the South end of the courtyard takes you on a short walk to the beautiful white sand beaches of the Gulf of America. This resort has 7 pools (one indoor pool), 3 hot tubs, tennis & pickleball courts (rackets and balls provided), basketball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and restaurant on site. Alabama’s premier golf course Kiva Dunes and restaurant are adjacent.

When you rent our home away from home we also include:
-Beach wagon to carry your supplies back & forth to the beach in
-Foldable beach chairs for lounging by the gulf waters
-Sand castle toys
-Beach towels
-Indoor pool membership for those rainy or cool days
-Private outdoor shower for rinsing the sand off
-Corn hole

The beach is about a 500-foot walk, Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge is also near and has more than six miles of hiking trails to all kinds of beaches around the area. Fort Morgan is also within driving distance, with a ferry that takes you to Dauphin Island.

Clean and exceeded expectations with extras available , such as floats and chairs for the beach. Great quiet non commercialized area, we love Fort Morgan and this location was amazing.

House was fabulous for our group! It was very well stocked!! We loved the closet with all the beach toys, chairs, umbrella and even a wagon to haul it down to the beach. The outdoor shower was very nice. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Our home away from home

We had another wonderful week in 2B! Patrick and Misty are the best hosts! Misty is so easy to communicate with and is super responsive! The house and resort are perfect for us. The kitchen is the best stocked we’ve ever had on vacation. This was our third year to stay here, and we hope to be back again soon!

Perfect Family Beach House

The host, Misty, was quick and efficient to speak with through the whole process, before and during the vacation. The house is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and equipped for your beach stay! We have stayed at the resort before but this "Big Blue House" has been our favorite. Kitchen is stocked with all your needs and the car port underneath has all your beach needs. We have zero complaints . The host truly made the whole process easy and the stay great with their amenities they provide. Some places we enjoyed: The Pier, Lulus, Hangout, Lamberts, The Track, and of the course the beach thats just a short walk.

Home away from home ❤️

This house is perfect for our family beach trip! The owners are so accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and want. Misti makes communication easy and is a wonderful host. This was our second visit, and we hope to be back again in the future.

Great location!

We loved our stay! The location was great. Pool directly across the drive from the house and the beach was a short easy walk. We were able to do it no problem with 3 kids under 4. Misty was super responsive. Would highly recommend.

Nice amenities and clean

Plenty for the kids to do. Short walk to beach. The indoor pool area was warm, and kids really liked having it for the rainy cold days. Hot tub is a short walk away. House is nice and clean. Had everything we needed. Owner was very responsive and nice. Beds are comfy. We had a great time!

Beautiful vacation home close to the beach

Beautiful vacation home, very well equipped with cute decorations. Just a couple of steps to a private beach access. The house is a duplex house with neighbors on the other side. The only thing that isn’t described enough is, that it takes about 2 weeks to get the security deposit back. Besides that we had a great stay and Misty was a great host.

Spring break

Thanks Misty for the great stay for spring break. Our group of 4 adults and 2 teens had plenty of space in the house and the teenagers especially liked the basketball court! The location right near the boardwalk to the beach was great and being able to use the cushioned chairs wirh the umbrella was a nice unexpected perk. Be sure to head out at night to the beach to search for crabs. It was fun seeing some of the younger kids out there getting so excited to find them.

Perfect for family of 8

We have been coming to Gulf Shores Plantation for 9 years and have stayed in many different beach houses. This house was wonderful! From the kitchen being stocked with everything we needed to the fun porch swing and extra beach stuff, we couldn’t have asked for more. We were nervous we would hear our neighbors sharing a wall with them but we never did. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us.

Beautiful home, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. The weather was in the 60's so the combination of the beach and the resort amenities ensured that we always had something comfortable to do whether it was 63 and windy or 70 and sunny. The house was very comfortable for our family of five and the kitchen was very well stocked with lots of pans, dishes, utensils, sharp knives and coffee filters. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunch or dinner whenever we wanted to stay in. The house could use a deep clean especially base boards, vents and furniture. That is all I can think of that would have improved our stay. The hosts were fantastic.

Lovely Condo in Plantation

The house was clean and had several provisions for beach life like toys and boards and towels. There was a pack and play we used for our toddler and there was even a sound machine there! Misty was great with communicating with me and was very timely. The house was directly across from a pool and the indoor pool was within walking distance. The kitchen had a coffee maker, air fryer and everything we needed for our family of six. Thank you!

Wonderful!

This property is wonderful! The owners really have thought of everything. Very clean and up to date. The kitchen is amazing, we ate in our whole trip and had everything we needed. The owners have extras I have never seen at other properties, and we have been staying at the same location for 11 years. Towels, beach chairs, corn hole, games, wagon for beach supplies and outdoor shower. I could have packed a lot less than I normally bring. We were initially concerned with the number of people staying next door but we never heard any sounds in the adjacent cottage. Very quiet. We loved the porches. It felt like home.

Wonderful Accommodations!

We just returned from our first trip to Gulf Shores and had a wonderful time! The property had everything (and more) that we could have possibly needed to be comfortable with our family of 6. We also had friends staying in a condo at Plantation who came over to spend time with us as well. It never felt cramped even with all eleven of us gathering to play games and hang out! The entire place was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and there was a linen closet with extra bedding/blankets, which I find to be rare in rentals. The kitchen was stocked better than any rental I’ve ever stayed at and even had a griddle and air fryer, very nice pots/pans, every cooking utensil you would need, and more! I love to cook, even while on vacation, and it felt like home in this kitchen, having everything I could need. The location was great, being right across from two of the pools and an outdoor hot tub. Just a short stroll to the boardwalk gets you to the beach, which is fabulous. The sand is incredible, and the ocean is clear and gorgeous. We stayed during Spring Break, but it was still peaceful and plenty of room to enjoy the resort amenities. We took the short drive into Gulf Shores to enjoy restaurants and shopping and then came back to relax. I cannot wait to stay again! Thank you for a comfortable stay!
