Beautiful home with so many extras!

  • 5 of 5

We just spent the weekend at the home with 8 family members. Plenty of space to sleep everyone had their own bed. Thomas told us all we had to bring was toiletries and food and boy was he right! This home was fully stocked with linens, kitchenware, cooking supplies, paper goods. We enjoyed listening to the creek running by, watching the frogs in your pond, sitting by the fire, and watching the birds at the bird feeder. The house is secluded, but on a road with several other homes. The open floor plan allowed us to all be together in one space comfortably.

My kids 10 and 13 enjoyed exploring the kids closet upstairs for toys and perusing all the video, DVD, game and music choices.

It is pet friendly and our pup really enjoyed the yard.

Thomas was so easy to work with- great communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying at my cabin. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I hope you will come again. Spring, summer and fall are wonderful in the Berkshires as well, but of course warmer and you don't have to worry about your car getting stuck in the snow. Tom

A cabin in the woods indeed - perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

The Hill House cabin in the woods was perfect for anyone who wants peace, relaxation and privacy. It is located right by the Green River and very close to other places such as Great Barrington, Bash Bish Falls and Tanglewood Music Center. It includes all you need except for toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and soap. The cabin was decorated nicely and the candlesticks and votives were perfect. The charcoal broiler was great for BBQing and there is a nice fire pit by the cabin. There is plenty of space in the cabin and one feels like they are home because it is very cozy and comfortable. The deck was great to hang out and eat breakfast and dinner. There is an additional dining space outdoors by the fish pond. It was a great stay and I would recommend it.

We expected a lovely home but we were absolutely FLOORED with delight! Hill House is everything we wanted and MORE! Gorgeous, spacious home inside and out. Excellent location near the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival! Lots of special touches, including a "Welcome" bottle of wine and Milano cookies! We loved it so much we hope to rent again next year! Thank you, Tom!!

CHARMING CABIN, GREAT HOST.

  • 5 of 5

This place is amazing! The house is beautiful, clean, full of details that make it unique. You can see that it has a soul. Tom was very accommodating, I HAD NO REASON TO CALL HIM SINCE EVERYTHING WAS IN ORDER AND IN THE SAID PLACE MENTIONED IN AGREEMENT. The nature around the house is amazing very quite, All of the beds are comfortable and big enough for adults. We also enjoyed the river that runs down the hill (the water was so clean and refreshing!), Our stay was wonderful and I would recommend this place to everybody without a shadow of a doubt! our family was well pleased.

looking forward to visiting again soon. Thanks again, Tom!
