Nestled in a bird sanctuary on an oak filled tidal creek lot with expansive porch views of Charleston harbor, come share coffee with friends and family and watch spectacular marsh morning sun rise. Located minutes to the famous "Edge of America" Folly Beach, beach chairs, cooler and towels are provided for and enjoyable beach excursion.
Centrally located, you are a short trip to historical Charleston, James Island County Park Splash Zone, and neighboring barrier islands. Off Street Parking and Boat Parking

Susan and her husband were the best hosts. They were very detailed oriented at the VRBO and super sweet. Their property had the most stunning views of the marshes. We even got to see an otter. Their terrace provided privacy with our own stunning sunrise views. The property was top notch as well. And some real nice touristy places to explore like Folly Beach and Charleston downtown nearby.

Perfect spot and great hosts

This bungalow was perfect for my small family while visiting family. It was the cleanest rental I have stayed in. The beds were comfortable, which is important to me. The hosts were quick to communicate and answer any questions. They live on property, so we interacted and were extremely nice! We will be staying again next time we are in Charleston.

We enjoyed our weekend at the villa. It was very well stocked with items, clean, and the views were amazing and very relaxing sitting on the back porch watching the birds and looking over the marsh. Would recommend. Owners were accommodating and welcoming when we arrived.

Our stay with Susan was absolutely fantastic. Susan and her husband are incredibly hospitable and helpful. The house was fully equipped—more than you usually experience—with everything from spices to baking paper. There were also beach items available for free use, and when we arrived, there was beer, water, and fresh flowers waiting for us. The house is well-designed, and best of all is the terrace with the most amazing view over the marsh and the lovely pool. The house is close to downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, shopping, and fantastic restaurants. The place is even better than the pictures show, so we will definitely be coming back. Susan and her husband get 5 huge stars from us!

Incredible experience

Stop scrolling and book this house. Amazing house, setting and host. The host welcome you like a long time friend or family member and you won't find a better view or relaxing atmosphere.

I was amazed at how amazing everything was and how clean and kid friendly it was. my one yr old and 9 year old loved the place we stayed she helped us with places to go and any information we asked of her ❤️ she's so sweet and attentive, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our vacation ❤️

Had a great stay!

We had a great stay at this location. Everything was as described. We had plenty of room for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and the kitchen was fully stocked. You are staying in a small house behind the owner's house, but do have full access to the beautiful backyard and pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Loved waking up in the morning and drinking a cup of coffee on the back porch while watching the birds fly through the marsh. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect

Susan and Charlie were amazing hosts! We came for the Highwater Music festival and this property was a great sanctuary away from the crowds. So clean and comfy. They even had beautiful fresh flowers waiting for us. The pool was lovely and the view of the marsh was so nice. And we loved the doggies and kitties! Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect Spot

The villa was absolutely perfect for our family!! My wife and I traveled to Charleston with our 2 young kids and we were blown away by how perfect this rental was. 15 min to folly beach and 15 to downtown Charleston. The villa was very clean and very well stocked. From the pool, deck with swings, to the views we loved every second. Susan was a perfect host.

Amazing

The place is such a little sanctuary away from city life, even if Charleston is only a 10 minute drive. Alexa was able to put down that country music while I wine down on her swing sofa. Definitely recommend.
