Stone Mountain Lodge

A pretty entry welcomes you to a large, airy screened porch. You might just plop down there for a while, but you probably won’t resist the urge to walk straight through the back door and down the shady hillside to the private dock on Lake Adger!

Back inside, this well-built and maintained log home flows from the spacious, charming, and beautifully equipped kitchen to open dining and living rooms. Cathedral ceilings and walls of windows keep you in touch with the lake and mountains while you’re anchored by a true North Carolina stone fireplace. Enjoy a little romance for two, or bring some family and friends, because it’s so easy to entertain in this classically decorated retreat! A large first floor master bedroom suite has direct access to the deck overlooking the lake. There’s a comfortable second bedroom/bath on the first floor, and upstairs a spacious loft bedroom, also with full bath. Everything you need, it’s lakefront living at its best!

Please note, if firewood is desired, a $50 fee will be charged. Property Manager must be notified Note: Sorry but no pets allowed. If violated, a penalty of up to $500 Fee will be assessed.

Great Mountain Lake Escape

We stayed at this cabin for a girls getaway. House was amazing, just like the pictures. We enjoyed taking out the paddleboard and kayak. Property manager was super helpful, we had a question about the house and he texted back immediately. Beautiful home and area. There's a great hike right up the road!

Lake house vacay

It was wonderful. A lot cozier than pictures show. Everything we needed. Not too hard down to the lake but getting into it was very difficult from the shore because it was too slippery and rocky so the only way into the water for us was off the dock onto floats or boats or down the ladder. But we managed and loved our stay.

Perfect place for a HOT weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet mountain paradise and found it was the perfect location to comfortably survive an unseasonably hot weekend. We spent our days lazily submerged in the beautiful lake and were grateful to have paddle boards, kayaks and noodles to keep us afloat. The house gave a "rustic cabin" vibe but was far from primitive. It was very well appointed with all the modern conveniences, clean and comfortable with understated luxury. The stone work of the fireplace and retaining wall was like art and the kitchen was loaded with charm and stocked with necessities. We loved playing games on the large and inviting screen porch after sunset and gazing at the full moon reflecting off the lake. Our contact was always responsive and helpful - before and during our stay. Really, we enjoyed every minute. Thank you!
