THE BEST MEMORIES ARE MADE AT THE LAKE
Welcome to Eagle Point at Lake Adger where Southern elegance meets rustic serenity at this lakeside retreat. As my guest, my goal is to provide an atmosphere of genuine comfort in a warm, relaxed, yet refined log cabin home where "Good Memories Can Be Made". The cabin is located on a large wooded lot with 14 miles of shoreline. Canoe and kayaks on property for guest use. During your stay, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, making s'mores around the campfire, stargazing, nature observation, and jumping off of Frog Rock on a warm Carolina Blue sky day. Relax with your morning coffee on the rocking chair screened porch overlooking the lake with private dock and mountain view. Take your dog on a walk on the community trail located directly across the road from the cabin. On a rainy day, play chess or assemble a puzzle at the 'Pony-Up' bar while drinking a hot chocolate or cool mason jar lemonade beverage. Or, curl up in a soft leather chair with a good book next to the fireplace. Savor juicy steaks, corn on the cob, and hot dogs cooked on the outdoor gas grill. At sunset, peacefully contemplate life on the lakeside tree hammock while listening to the sounds of nature's tranquility.
A cabin 'Guest Book' provides a list of adventurous mountain hikes and scenic waterfalls to visit as well as dining suggestions and things to do in the area that appeal to a variety of interests and ages. Zip-line through Hickory Nut Gorge, go tubing down a river, sample local wines and craft beers, listen to a Blues Grass band, play tennis or golf, attend an art or apple festival, horseback ride and pet animals at a stable, explore Chimney Rock State Park, be amazed at the Biltmore House, enjoy a theatrical production at the Flat Rock Playhouse, shop locally made crafts, unwind with a spa treatment at the 1927 Lake Lure Inn, take a pontoon boat tour, or simply stroll along the Flowering Bridge.
The cabin provides 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 full baths plus a partially open loft area with a half bath. Outdoor hot and cold shower. Zacuzzi garden tub, shower, double sinks, piano and Sundance chandelier grace the Master Suite. Guest Suite has an adjacent semi-private full bath and lake view. The main living room area features Mission style furnishings, cathedral ceiling, stone gas fireplace, and a large skylight. The fully equipped kitchen has a Keurig coffee machine, crock pot, waffle iron, blender, wine/champagne glasses, Breville fresh juice maker, air fryer, George Forman grill, and most other supplies cooks need. Coffee, creamer, sugar, and an assortment of teas and world spices provided. W/D, central air conditioning, Direct TV, Netflix, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth stereo. 100% cotton sheets, towels, soap, and all basic bed, bath and kitchen necessities can be found at the cabin.
