About this property

Kings Beach 2 bed townhouse minutes from Lake Tahoe and Northstar

Welcome to Tahome! We love our Tahoe getaway and hope you will too. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and the downstairs bedroom has a bunk bed with two single beds ... this is a great for family stays. There is a full kitchen and a full washer and dryer for your use. Wifi is included, so bring your own streaming service passwords as there is no cable TV.

“Tahome” is located just minutes from the lake. We are a ten minute drive to Northstar and six minutes to the Nevada state line (and the casinos). We are a mile from a golf course and close to Kings Beach State Park.

In the summer, enjoy the complex pool, tennis courts, and basketball. In the winter, you will love cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, sledding and more!

Max daytime and nighttime occupancy is 4 people with maximum of 2 vehicles parked in the provided complex parking spaces.

This condo does not have a BBQ because the complex does not allow them, please do not bring your own open flame BBQ's with you because the Home Owner's Association will fine you.

Pets are not allowed due to HOA regulations, this is NOT a pet free condo the owners are able to have pets. If you have animal related allergies this is not the place for you .

No owner, family member, tenant, resident, guest, business invitee or visitor shall vape, smoke cigarettes, cigars, or any other tobacco or cannabis product anywhere. This prohibition shall include the outside common area, enclosed common areas, exclusive common areas (including balconies and patios) and all nonresidential buildings within the development.

Great Townhouse in Convenient Location

Place was as described. Clean and plenty of space for a family of 4. Plenty of games and puzzles for the kids.Very convenient to get to Northstar and the restaurants and shops at Kings Beach. Would stay again.

Nice place to stay for Northstar Skiing Trip

This place is very convenient if you plan to ski at Northstar. 3 mins to Safeway and several restaurants. The house is clean. Beds are comfortable. Shower is great compared with some other places we stayed in the past. Host is very responsive. Will come back for sure.

Great Location

This place is located a short walk from Kings Beach and Tahoe Area Regional Park. It was very clean but there are a couple of things to know:1. It is right on 267. If it is hot and you want to open doors or windows, it is quite loud. 2. The shower was fine for us because we are 5’4” and 5’7”. If you are taller than that, you will need to crouch under the shower head. We were out and about most of the time and enjoyed our stay. If I was going to be indoors a lot, I might look for more light and less noise.

Great place. Host receptive to a couple of suggestions

Excellent. Since the 3 of us included an older mom (with knee problems) and adult son and girlfriend, I (mom) was glad to learn that my bedroom would be on the first floor. What I hadn't realized until arriving was that the main floorplan was on the second floor, including the bathroom, kitchen & living room area. So I was way out of the way and my knees got a workout! Not sure it would have mattered for me to realize the floorplan, but would have been nice to know. Also, we suggested to our host that they include a hardcopy of wifi password and other critical information. He was very available and accomodating when we had some problems, but a hard copy would have taken care of that without bothering him. Nevertheless, an overall excellent experience. I enjoyed an afternoon around the lovely pool while the younger two did some hiking/eploring. Very convenient to the lake and dinner out.

It has everything we needed

Only thing I would say that could improve is sound proofing. We have two active boys and they were out of the property most of the time (pretty much from 9:30am - 5:00pm every day during out stay) and they go to sleep at 9:30pm. But we still got our friendly neight knocking at the door saying they might be to loud. I guess with the wood structure and stairs by the wall that is sharing with the neighbour, any steps going up and down the stairs can sound very load from the other side.
