I am writing this review to provide an accurate and detailed account of my experience hosting Jackie and her group. While I have rented my property for 16 years without issue, this particular reservation resulted in significant damages that I feel other homeowners should be aware of. Jackie initially inquired about renting the property for her family, which she stated would consist of 10 people aged 30-51. However, upon arrival, the group consisted primarily of young adults, and the number of guests exceeded the agreed-upon number. Over 16 people arrived, with additional visitors coming each night. The group hosted loud parties into the early morning hours. This behavior caused multiple complaints from neighbors, and while Jackie initially apologized and promised to rectify the situation, the noise and disruption continued throughout the stay. This activity was documented by the only cameras on the property that face the driveway. Upon checkout, I discovered extensive damage to the property, including broken kitchen cabinets, damaged bed frames, stained rugs, and furniture that was severely soiled by liquid bronzer. Several items were irreparably damaged and required professional cleaning or repair. The costs of restoration are significant, and I am in the process of filing a claim with VRBO’s insurance, though it will only cover a fraction of the damage. In summary, this was by far the most difficult and damaging rental experience I’ve had in 16 years of renting out my home. I feel it’s important for other homeowners to be aware of the situation.

If you are considering renting to Francesca, don’t think twice! Her and her group were the perfect house guests. They treated our house as if it was their own and left it as clean as it was when they arrived. They even put towels in the washer, filled the dishwasher, and made the beds when they left. We hope to have them back!
