Premium ocean front condo with the best location (2nd unit from the ocean end), on the best beach, and the best part of Maui -- at the Mana Kai. Located at the north end of Keawakapu Beach, you've got a mile long beach and some of the safest swimming and best snorkeling to enjoy.

To keep our unit in the best condition for your stay we are constantly updating. We've renovated the kitchen with bamboo cabinets and granite counter tops. Both baths have been redone also.

Generally the trade winds keep you cool and comfortable, but every room has a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The building has free Wi-Fi for guests and is smoke free. There is a reserved parking spot for you and a laundry room at the elevators in the center of the building. Gas BBQ grills are available on the lawn.

The only thing between my unit and the ocean is the pool and grassy lawn for lounging. Being second from the ocean end of the building our unit is very quiet, the waves tranquilize you to sleep every evening in our king size beds,. Both bedrooms have unobstructed views of the ocean so that you can always enjoy the view. Because of the floor plan of the unit, it may be rented in 3 different ways - as a 2 bed/2 bath full condo, as a 1 bed/1 bath full condo, or as a hotel room with just a bedroom and a bath.

The building is small enough to have a warm friendly feel but large enough to offer some great amenities such as a general store & deli,surf shop & rentals, yoga studio, a superior restaurant(the 5 Palms), a business center, gym, and an activities center to help with any bookings you may need. Located just blocks north of Wailea, you have easy access to many golf courses, the Shops at Wailea, and all that south Maui has to offer.

About Patty Cowles

A friend told our parents about the Mana Kai back in 1987 when I was just an infant. They had always stayed on the north end of the island for many years prior and when they heard of the dryer weather, less traffic, and the friendlier more convenient environment, they had to try the Mana Kai. After one stay, they were sold! We rented units for many years until the time came that they could purchase their own little piece of paradise. We have been very fortunate to spend our spring breaks on the beach every year and our family memories of the MKM are the best! Now my brother and I have been blessed to take over ownership. Coming from Montana we keep our unit tropical in color and design. We want to feel like we are in paradise when we walk in the door.

The Mana Kai is so easy & convenient, especially if h traveling with your family. You can sit on the lawn, watch one in the ocean and one in the pool at the same time. Whenever you need something, the condo can be reached quickly as well as the deli/general store. This is one of the few places my father truly relaxes. He loves being right on the ocean, listening to the waves and reading under a palm tree. A feel of being totally away, but right in the US so the office is a phone call away.

We had a lovely stay in your unit at the Mana Kai. Not much snorkeling since the kona winds were blowing hard and making the surf very rough, but just being in the warmth and sun were great. Came back to snow, ice and slush (had to hike up our road at 1:30 AM to get home), so we really miss it!

You have thought of everything one could need in your condo…so well-supplied! The beds were comfy, linens great, and what a location! We enjoyed the Maui books and pamphlets under the TV, especially the Hawaii bird and fish books. Took your advice and went to Kimo’s one night (great spot) and brought in Maui Tacos a few evenings….perfect. Also made it over to Mama’s Fishhouse near the airport for a final lunch before flying out…fabulous.

Excellent unit

We always stay at the Mana Kai when we're on Maui. We had the whole family with us so we rented two units. This unit was far superior to the other unit we rented (215). The kitchen has been updated and was especially well equipped with lots of extras. There were beach toys in the closet and plenty of towels and linens. We definitely would rent this unit again.

Warm Aloha in 502 Mana Kai

Patty was perfect to work with in setting up our Hawaiian vacation! The condo decor was tropical in feel. If was very comfortable. So well equipped in the kitchen, to the beach supplies- something for kids to adults. A million dollar view! Location is our favorite in Maui. Beach, water, snorkeling, hiking, shopping, restaurants all easily reached.

Great Customer Service/Beatiful Unit

This was our first time staying in Patty's unit #502. Her response time to my inquiries and questions were very quick, she was wonderful to work with. We have stayed many many times at the Mana Kai but never on the ocean end of the complex until now. Gorgeous view, condo very very well stocked, beautiful and comfortable unit. The unit still has the sliding partitions between the living room and the A unit bedroom so it was very comfortable to share with our friends. We wonder why so many of the remodeled units have removed those doors. The only place to stay is the Mana Kai! We will be back!

Love, love. love

This was our 2nd time staying at Patty's little piece of paradise. The best beach front location in Maui. We saw dolphins our first morning from the lanai. Everything you will need is inside and outside. Listening to the ocean waves at night is the best. Cannot wait to go back again. Aloha!

The ONLY Place to Stay on Maui

This is the best beachfront property on Maui! Everything you could possibly want is right outside your door. The condo is beautiful, comfortable and newly renovated. It also has the most amazing view and listening to the ocean every night while you lie in your king size bed can't be beat! I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Operating under Hawaii Tax ID:194-591-1296-01. A refundable security/reservation fee equal to one night's stay is due to confirm your reservation. Full rental amount is due no later than 30 days before your stay. Cleaning fee is waived with a 7 night stay. The security/reservation fee will be refunded after your stay.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
