Private Pool Oasis just one block from Beach - Sleeps 16 OPEN for 2025!

This unique setting consists of two cottages that create a U-shape dwelling around a private, heated pool (in winter). Two of the bedrooms and baths are upstairs above the covered patio, overlooking the pool. Short, easy walk to the beach. We love helping our guests make amazing memories, and work so that our guests can relax and enjoy the sun and fun of vacation!

Entrance A faces the street, with parking for 3 cars. This side of the property has three bedrooms, two baths, and a kitchen/living room with access to pool area. Entrance B has a door off the alley, also with parking for 2 cars. This entrance opens to the main cottage with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen and living space, as well as access to the new upstairs with two bedrooms/two baths (en-suites). There are two entrances to the pool area from this side.

This is a perfect getaway for multi-generational family vacations: beach, pool, easy walks, neighborhood parks!

Awesome spot for a large group or family. There are two cottages with separate kitchen/living areas which made it easy to not feel cramped even with 14 people. The pool/patio was great for hanging out together and the beach is easy to access since it’s just across the street. The two kitchens had all the essentials so we were able to cook dinner most nights and avoid having to pay for restaurants every day. A number of good restaurants are also a short walk away. The host’s instructions and guide were very easy to follow and communication was great too. Would stay here again!

Great location

The two cottages were perfect for my family. They are nice if you are traveling with a large group and occasionally like some separation as 1 cottage can hold 1 family and vice versa. Outside patio and swimming pool is the best area of all. We ate dinner in the evenings under the covered patio with the fans on while watching TV. There were ample beach supplies avaliable to borrow (toys, chairs, umbrella and a wagon to tote it all to the beach)The only downfall in our opinion was the AC in cottage A the living room was always cool, but for whatever reason the bedrooms do not cool down. Cottage B upstairs bedrooms each have a separate single AC unit to cool the rooms. Those would be useful in cottage A. All in all the cottages were very well kept and clean. Access to the beach was as described and very quick walk there.

Great rental for larger families with kids

Had the best time at this IRB rental! We had 6 adults and 5 kids ranging from ages 4 to 8. Our group members without kids stayed in the two upstairs renovated en-suite bedrooms, and the two couples with kids split up in the two downstairs cottages. It worked out perfectly.Pool was clutch and the cottage is walkable to restaurants, bars and the beach. We brought our Nintendo Switch so the kids could play Mario Kart together outside on the covered patio.Lots of beach chairs and a beach wagon to use in the shed. Some buckets in the bin as well. We replaced the broken beach umbrella for next renters.Not huge hangout spaces indoors if you require lots of indoor lounging, we happily spent the entire week outside.Only minor complaint is the lighting under the outdoor patio is bright and harsh at night. Easy fix with some string lights.Owners are very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

The gang

Outside space of the property is great although the pool should have handrails at the steps, dangerous, and difficult to get into for older people and young children. The system to run the pool and the spot is very complicated and needs to have very detailed instructions. The bathroom in the downstairs main unit need to be updated. Shower is very old and some mold. The upstairs bedrooms and baths in the main house have been updated very nice. If you are looking for a house that holds a large party and has great outdoor space then this is the house. Owners are very nice and very responsive to any issues that arise.

Great holiday stay near the beach!

We loved our stay! There were 13 of us and the 2 house combination waa perfect. It was great to have 2 kitchens ans apace to eat outside altogether. The kids especialky lived the pool. The quick walk to the beach with the wagon and beach toys made it so easy! soend time near the water.

Perfect location great for a big group

We loved the location…great to be able to walk to the beach. The pool and spa were incredible. We really enjoyed the outdoor area with a big table and outdoor tv! We were able to enjoy meals all together for our group of 15. Teresa was so helpful and responsive to anything that came up.

Great location , outside area fantastic

Loved the pool and outside area ( seating, pool tools beach items etc.) Access to the beach was great. Neighborhood quiet. Appreciated the info supplied before the trip. Home interior needs some repairs and additional kitchen tools. Hosts were very attentive and responsive to any emails sent. Would recommend coming to this location.

Great for family gatherings

This property was exactly as advertised & provided our family with the perfect accommodations. We enjoyed being close to the beach & numerous restaurants, but our family's favorite hangout spot was the private pool area. Clean, easy check in, and accommodating owners. Highly recommend

Family Spring Break

This property worked out well for the 12 of us particularly the set up of bedrooms and bathrooms. The main disadvantage was the kitchens as one had no dishwasher and was very small and neither had storage space for food. The pool and outdoor area were great as was access to the beach. All in all a good vacation spot.

Indian Rocks Beach house rocks!

Pool area is 5 stars, great accommodations for our family. Steps from the beach, across the street. Pickleball courts a few blocks away. 5 bathrooms makes it very convenient for everyone. Lots of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

IRB

We took our 2 daughters and their families to IRB to celebrate our 40th anniversary. There were 11 of us so we wanted to find a place that would be convenient to the beach, have a heated pool, and plenty of room to spread out. We found all of those at this rental. Teresa was awesome responding to the many questions I had before traveling to IRB. There were a couple small issues we had with the rental when we got there but Tim could not have been more responsive! We would highly recommend this rental for a beach vacation with a large group (or a small one that wants loads of room)! It's a great family destination. Hope we can go again sometime!

Hidden Gem

We loved our recent stay. 5 families were able to stay in this property and it was the perfect layout for us. The pictures don’t do it justice. The pool and outdoor area were amazing and the walk to the beach is less than 2 minutes. Teresa is a fabulous host and is always quick to respond. We would definitely stay again!

Annual Girls Trip

Our group of 12 ‘girls’ has been going to Florida for over 20 years. We previously had been staying on Anna Maria Island. Last year was our first year on IRB house and location was medium but decided to give it another whirl. Glad we did; the house, location and host, Teresa were top notch. Location is literally an easy 2 minute walk to beach with wagon and chairs provided. The outdoor space was fantastic with pool and hot tub and plenty of space for meals and watching some playoff hockey on outdoor TV. Enough beds for all. Teresa was incredibly kind a responsive from moment we booked and through our stay! Thank you so much!

Location and pool!

Great stay! Location is perfect! Less than 2 min walk to beach and house provided chairs, 2 bikes, and beach cart! 5 min walk to local park with pickle-ball, basketball, and baseball. House had everything we needed for cooking - 2 kitchens and a grill. We had 4 families that stayed and we cooked most meals at home. The house is separated into 2 and it was nice for all the families to have some space. The kids loved the pool/hot-tub - big pool and sun deck for younger kids if needed.. Pool and outside area was the best - we spent most of our time there - lots of seating and large tv. Kids could swim and adults could relax nearby and still keep an eye on kids. Extra tables were provided, nice for games and setting out food. Yard space for games with turf grass was nice, as well as when returned from the beach able to spray everything off and not have grass or mud everywhere. We had a wonderful time and the owners were more than accommodating for any needs! We will be back!

Fantastic Vacation

We stayed at this property from March 9-20th, 2023. We had a fantastic stay at the house :) The absolute best part of this house is the backyard. We spent 99% of our time swimming, in the hot tub, eating outside, or the kids watching a movie on the outdoor t.v. while the parents enjoyed a glass of wine! The indoor area of the 2 different homes are both nice. The beds are comfy, it was very clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchens are a tad small, but still very functional and had everything we needed. The two bedrooms upstairs in the newly renovated area are very beautiful! The washer and dryer work great and everyone enjoyed having their own bathrooms! The walk to the beach is SO close, like right across the street. There are a few restaurants you can walk to, but most would be driving distance or the use of the Jolly Trolly. There is a big park in walking distance for kids, which they enjoyed. Teresa and her parents were amazing and helped us with any questions we had. We loved our stay and had the best vacation. We would definitely recommend this house!

Family Vacation 2023!

Perfect place for a peaceful family vacation. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. We travel with another family (12 total) and there were enough beds for all. The pool and yard area was private with full sun and the seating area with the tv was the perfect layout for everyone to gather in the sun and/or shade. Ample parking for guests as well. After 23 years of vacations, this is one of our top places. We had one small issue, which was resolved quickly. Thank you Teresa for keeping in touch and allowing us to stay, we had a wonderful time!

A perfect family vacation

This property was perfect for us! We were 3 families; two families each with 2 kids under age five, and the third family of 2 adults. This property was exactly what we needed, with multiple separate spaces! The property really is exactly as shown in the pictures. The upstairs at the ‘second’ beach house (two separate bedrooms each with ensuite) is really like it’s own separate unit, as there’s not a direct door to the second cottage (we liked this feature). The pool is awesome. You can see from the pics it kinda has three sections…right side is a shallow ‘shelf’ 1 foot deep. This was perfect if the kids just wanted to walk around in the water. Right side also is where the spa/hot tub is. The left side is the more typical pool, but even it’s deepest couldn’t have been more than 5 feet (again, good for us with kids). Plus the ‘deep end’ has a ‘bench’ built in, so you can sit in the water and enjoy your beverage. Outdoor space overall is fantastic. We ate all our dinners in the covered area adjacent to the pool with the outdoor dining set. In the evenings we would relax in the outdoor couches + chairs and outdoor TV. Our kids used the outdoor turf for throwing balls around and other outdoor games. Each beach house being equipped with Roku Smart TVs was really helpful when the kids needed a break from constant action to just chill watch videos. And finally, you cannot beat this location! Walk everywhere! 1 block from the beach; 2 blocks from restaurants and close to a great park.

Great outdoor space and location

The outside space you see featured in the listing is the highlight of the property, along with its close location to the beach. We stayed in half the property (2110/Cottage B). Two of the bedrooms are newly renovated, the other two are in the original cottage. I got a little mixed up as to which pictures applied to which property (i.e., I thought we were getting the room with bunk beds but we didn't). Overall the cottage is small, and the indoor social space (kitchen and living area) doesn't accomodate a bigger group, so all socializing and eating happens outside. There is an outside TV and the weather was great, so it worked out for us pretty well.

Great Family Reunion Stay

This was a nice place for multiple families. 2 separate dwellings, with two bedrooms connecting the houses. Nice outside central area for the group to hang out watching tv, grilling, swimming, and soaking in the spa. 2 short blocks from the beach. Owners were new to the property, eager to make this a nice stay, and were very responsive to our needs.

My parents have vacationed in this area since their honeymoon 44 years ago! They have owned in Madeira Beach for the past 30 years. I actively rent out their vacation homes for them here on VRBO, and we love hearing about our guests momentous occasions on our property...engagements, anniversaries, wedding receptions, etc., and other family fun. My parents live in Iowa and farm there with my youngest sibling, Ben and his family, and vacation frequently here with my family. You will likely speak with me (Teresa) when you call to inquire about our home.

When they sold their beach condo, they were looking for a quiet place they could spend some time each winter, as well as rent out at unoccupied times. This property drew them because of its location so close to the beach, and the potential for a private little getaway. We knew we could make it a great little retreat based on all the feedback we have received from guests on previous vacation properties. We can't wait to share this one with you!

You will love the two living areas and kitchens - a space for the kids and one for the adults. Or for each family to head back to after a full day together. The covered patio is what we look forward to the most, knowing that shade during the full sun summer is a necessity!
