✔ Entorno de montaña tranquilo y privado. Hermosa casa de campo renovada a menos de dos minutos de la entrada de Blue Ridge.
Ubicado en "Walker in the Hills", un vecindario establecido a las afueras de Waynesville, entre antiguas maderas duras a 3200 pies. Esta es una casa de estilo cabaña en un entorno muy privado y tranquilo. Escucha el arroyo desde la cubierta de atrás.

Anna and Dave’s cottage is sweet. A beautiful fall get away for hiking and visiting our daughter. Plus the town is very quaint and offers a variety of artsy stores. The Woodstove was a bonus and the kitchen was well supplied for cooking. Unfortunately our stay was short, maybe another time. The host was excellent for any questions and very kind to let us return to retrieve a forgotten jacket;)

Cute Cottage

This little cottage was the perfect place for my husband and I. It felt like home away from home. Close to town, but far enough off the main road to be quiet. It was especially relaxing sitting outside listening to the stream.

Totally enjoyed this cottage. Loved sitting under the trees hearing the water from the stream in the back. Fully equipped kitchen. Loved the blue bedroom! Would stay again...

Absolutely beautiful home

I absolutely loved staying at this beautiful cozy home. The private deck down below with chairs and lights (and heater) is amazing!! The neighborhood is beautiful as well - I stayed alone and felt very safe. Love the location between Waynesville and Maggie valley.

Adorable Corrage

We really enjoyed our stay in this adorable cottage. Overall very spacious and comfortable. Great kitchen, comfy bedding, nice location close to downtown Waynseville. We absolutely LOVED the outdoor seating over the creek.

Great location

Easy drive to house. No steep hills Nice flat driveway. Nice quiet area. Close to many activities. Just a 40-minute drive to Asheville and 40 minutes to Smoky Mountain National Park.

The neighborhood and the house were everything you could ask for in the wooded, country setting just outside Waynesville and a hop skip and a jump from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Charming spot, two wonderful decks with a tree house feel!

Relaxing Getaway to Great Smoky's

The property was perfect for our week-long getaway from the Texas heat (and flat terrain). Everything was a manageable drive away: sunrise at Clingmans Dome followed by a hike to Charlie's Bunion, short (1-2 mile) hikes off the Blue Ridge Parkway, and visits to Mills River & Hendersonville area Cideries & Vineyards. Worked great for husband, wife and daughter's visit.

Perfect cottage

Myself and my wife returned to visit Waynesville/Maggie Valley for a quick getaway after moving away from the area 26 years ago. The cottage was perfect for us. It’s in a quiet area and close to Maggie Valley, Cherokee and parkway. It’s a clean and comfortable house and had everything we needed for our stay. Anna and David responded to questions very quickly

Sweet mountain home tucked into the treetops

Wonderful private location, but didnt feel 'unsafe' as a single female; beautiful kitchen- had anything I might need; great bedding, would be fun for winter stay as well. Close enough to town but still offered private 'forest' experience. Everything was very clean and orderly. Platform deck overlooking the creek was PERFECT for music and cocktail, as well as quiet reflection time. Great choice for a 'sabbath' spot or time with friends. Easy check in and out; got everything I needed from host with ease. Highly recommend.

I’m sorry to say that the description and pictures did not mach the home. The “treehouse deck” was ok but the path to it needed lighting, it was so full of fallen branches we would have had to clean it first and the string lights didn’t work. The deck on the back of the house was in the same condition so we could not enjoy anytime outside. The inside of the house was ok though there was no room in the bathrooms for toiletries, the pans in the kitchen were very old and the TV was incredibly small. The whole house felt very old and stale smelling. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were great but overall I believe we were severely overcharged for what we received and were expecting. I have stayed in VBRO’s in my travels through the states and have never had to leave a negative review.

Cute, Cozy, Clean and Convenient

This adorable cabin was the perfect spot for my friend and I to relax and visit. It felt away-from-it-all and secluded, yet Walker-in-the-Hills is so convenient. Other cabins and homes nestled in nearby woods make for a safe and friendly community. And, very quiet! Kitchen is complete including spices. Requests or questions were quickly handled by the hosts. If you arrive after dusk, the front security light does pop on, so that’s helpful. Wood burning stove and fireplace are great touches, but furnace alone kept us plenty toasty during a beautiful fall weekend. Lovely views out the many windows! Cute, cozy place!

The cottage was clean, cozy, and the heat worked well. The hosts came and blew off the porches, which was nice. We were disappointed that there was no patio heater because it was just broken. That was a big selling point of the cottage because the outside treehouse setting was something we were looking forward to but without the heater it was too cold to sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the creek. Overall it was a great stay and located so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I would definitely recommend.

Comfy cottage

Cottage was exactly as listed. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Stocked kitchen made preparing our Thanksgiving meal very easy. Will recommend to family and friends.

loved this cottage at first site. so cute and cozy, away from everything and in the hardwood forest of Walker in the Hills. Just 3 minutes the Blue Ridge parkway entrance and 6 minutes to downtown Waynesville. What's not to love?.

Located at a cool 3200 feet at the base of Mt. Lynn-Laurie, 2nd tallest peak in the eastern US., you will be about 3 minutes from the entrance to the Blue ridge Parkway where you will be awed by expansive mountain vistas. The parkway offers access to hiking trail-heads to the Appalachian trail and Mountain to Sea trail.
This adorable cottage has been remodeled and designed to be the perfect peaceful and private hideaway.
The bedrooms shabby chic decor. They are small and cozy and include brand new mattresses and pillows (mattress covers and pillow protectors ). Choose mountain cool breezes or window A/C.
The kitchen is a complete remodel including Italian stone floor, white subway wall tile, new dishwasher and refrigerator and a nice gas range/oven , new cabinets and butcher block counter tops. Well equipped for preparing home cooked meals.
The roomy living room has very comfy couches, the kind that you sink into and don't want to get up again. New 32 inch TV with streaming Internet/Roku ( no cable or satellite premium channels)
The sun room is so peaceful with its waterfall and chaise lounge. The perfect place to just sit and rest, read, meditate, or nap. Your welcome!
The wooden deck is a place to enjoy the Adirondack chairs and dainty bistro for coffee or your own grilled meals. Listen to the creek , enjoy the fresh air under the canopy of the hardwood forest. Very private setting.
The back yard is pretty steep and rocky in places. Woodland with lots of ferns and vegetation and huge trees leading to the creek. If you venture down, be careful and wear long pants and good footwear.
You are welcome to the veggies and herbs in the garden during your stay. Enjoy!
We love this cottage and have taken care to provide so many little extras to make your stay exceptionally peaceful and rejuvenating.
