Space for everyone to spread out at this well designed relaxing and modern property set on a luscious acre steps from private access sandy beach. Combining a comfortable open plan main space with many bonus areas for quiet relaxation, entertaining or work during any season. Multiple outdoor areas for lounging and play include a seasonal in ground pool, hot tub, and separate pool house! Nearby vineyards, breweries, shopping, restaurants, galleries and outdoor activities abound.
The space
Two level family home at the end of a quiet, family friendly street leading to a private access sandy bay beach. The home is set on a full landscaped acre with multiple deck, porch and patio areas. The entire space is design by a NYC based interior designer with a goal of a relaxed and easy going lifestyle at any time of year. There are multiple living areas, linked to support open plan living with privacy when needed. This is balanced out with private bedrooms and 3.5 baths. In the summer months, a pool house, in ground pool, built in hot tub, fire pit and two gas bbqs make it difficult to leave. A short walk - steps - to a sandy bay beach is a double extra bonus. Centrally located to all on offer on the North Fork year round.

Why they chose this property

We choose this property because of it's size and location - a few steps away from a sandy, bay (calm) private beach, plus its proximity to amazing farmstands, vineyards, breweries, walks, shops, restaurant and music venues.

What makes this property unique

The home is full of many surprises. Architecturally it blends the look of a traditional home with modern components that bring light and ingenuity into the space. The main floor feels like a large open plan loft, connected to the exterior via multiple deck and views of the generous yard. A full acre of landscaped yard stretches out to the rear and side of the home and includes a large in ground pool, pool house and patio area, a broad lawn area, and a hot-tub built into one of the decks. Other deck areas include bbq and tree shaded spaces, plus a large screened in porch. A lower level bonus living room includes a projection TV and surround sound. Each bedroom has either an en-suite bath or bath shared with one other bedroom making it an ideal space for a multi-generation family, two families, or couples. The space is carefully designed by the interior designer/homeowner in a modern twist on a rustic style, with an emphasis on easy livability. Central air-conditioning throughout the home keep it comfortable during the summer. Two wood burning fireplaces add to cozy comforts year round. EV charging available.
