Welcome to Eagles Overlook! This amazing 5 bedroom 5.5 bath cabin boasts 3,000 square feet and is conveniently located just 1.5 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg! Offering parking for 4 vehicles, Eagles Overlook is the perfect cabin for your group of 14!
The upstairs has 4 king bedrooms all with their own en suite bathrooms for your privacy. The kitchen, dining, and living room area are located on the main level. The downstairs area has a movie room and queen over queen bunk beds.
You will enjoy your state of the art kitchen and table with seating for 14.
The cabin features a pool table, hot tub, and movie room.

When booking this home, you will be provided a starter pack of supplies. We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 dishwasher pods, a small bottle of dish soap, 2 laundry pods, travel sized shampoo and body wash, 2 trash bags, and a pack of coffee. The coffee maker is a standard drip coffee maker if you would like to bring your favorite brand. All additional supplies needed will be the guest's responsibility.
We also provide towels for showering. If you would like additional towels for the hot tub, please bring your own.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Our Gatlinburg Christmas getaway

Our family met here for a Christmas Reunion getaway and enjoyed every minute of it. the teens and younger adults enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and theater! Everything was excellent!

We stayed here for our New Years family vacation. Fantasitic view of Gatlingburg/Ober Mountain lights at night. The cabin was very spacious and clean. Very convenient location to downtown Gatlinburg. We would defintely stay here again for out next Gatlinburg family vacation.

Yearly Gatlinburg tradition

House was great, plenty of room for everybody. Great location, just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. House just needs a thorough deep clean, very dusty but I clean for a living so I really was only one who noticed, lol, otherwise we had a blast.

Beautiful stay

This property has the perfect location to everything in downtown area Gatlinburg! The pictures do this listing no justice because it is more beautiful in person! Minus small repair and some cleanliness, it was exactly what my family needed. The owners were very responsive and communicative which is a plus! Would definitely stay again in the future.

Beautiful view from deck. Very convenient location. Large kitchen. We saw bears every day. Had a great time. We had a few issues come up but the host was very quick and responsive to address them.

Amazing View

This was the perfect location. We were in town for the Rocky Top Invitational basketball tournament and we were directly down the street.We enjoyed everything about the cabin it was simple beautiful and exactly as pictured. Clean and very well kept. We will be planning another trip with the host either here or at another location.

Gatlinburg's Great Getaway

Location: Amazing. Home: Big, Warm, Clean & Inviting. Amenities: Yep. This mountain cabin is incredible. Less than 10 minutes, and sometimes 5, from the Parkway strip. So close to civilization, but feels so far removed. House is big enough for 10 people easy. We had 6 and spread out nicely across all floors. You would be just as satisfied staying in at this cabin as going out to experience all of the nearby fun. I think that says a lot about the property.

Lovely cabin

Had a wonderful stay, cabin is beautiful and a great location. Two small suggestions that may help improve what was a marvelous vacation would be extra bath towels. The ones provided are very small for a bath towel. Also as we did not receive, or we received in our spam folder, and could not gain access on arrival. We were finally able to after tracking down the vrbo 24 hour number but it may help to have contact numbers posted by the entrance to the cabin. A fabulous stay however and would recommend to anyone.

Awesome experience!

We had an awesome experience. It was raining one day, so it was even better having the cabin for all eleven us to have a place to hang out. The younger kids were able to spread out downstairs with their toys, some played pool, some were able to play cards on the huge dining table and others were able to lounge on the couch or deck. The kitchen was fully stocked! There were lots of pots and pans, utensils and dishes. There was even a glass casserole dish! This cabin was by far the best we have stayed at! We will be back!!

February 11 trip

Upon our arrival everything was beautiful. We decided to cook the first night and to our surprise the pot ware was rushed out and not in good condition. As the trip went on we noticed that the shower in one room was stopped up and our guest had to use the shower in other room. The furniture in the seating area was worn down and not in the best condition. Overall this was a nice trip however coming from south Florida to a place we had never been we did expect things to be in better condition then what we found.

Plenty of Space and Room to Spread Out

The property is beautiful. The cabin is spacious and I like the fact that all the bedrooms have bathrooms attached. Plenty of spaces to sleep- 5 bedrooms and the couch in the media room turns into a bed. Also the pool table room has more than enough room for a queen size blow up mattress. Now the negatives…When we arrived the bathrooms were not clean, we had to clean them. The shower doors in the bathrooms are worn and will not stay on the tracks. Most of the drains in the tubs do not drain properly. The toilet in the main area runs all the time. When you use it you have to pull the lever back up to make it stop. The cabin needs a deep professional cleaning. The comforters on the beds were not clean we had to wash them. Not enough towels for large groups you have to bring your own. The pots and cook wear were worn out and that was a big problem for us because we cooked everyday. The kitchen needs to be stocked more with big bowls and pans. The property itself is nice and spacious but we were disappointed with the amount of problems. The host is responsive but he did respond to comments about the shower doors and drains. If the problems are repaired we would definitely come back again but not in its current condition.

Beautiful Views Overall Good Stay w/ a Few Exceptions

First I need to state that Dan was VERY responsive and took care of issues & concerns promptly. He was responsive prior to our stay and during our stay. Had he not, this review would not be rated what it is. Upon arrival found burned coffee in coffee pot, broken toilet handle in one of the bathrooms and slow draining water in all baths. I was able to save the coffee pot & Dan had repairmen out to the house the next morning. If you are a bath person, don't take the master bathroom as the pipe where the tub spout should be was capped. To overcome this, I ran the shower & ultimately was able to bathe in the tub but this took a long time. The kitchen pots/pans are warped, burnt and nonstick coating is scratched and peeling they are difficult to cook in. The larger utensils are broken and not sturdy which made it difficult to prepare our family potlucks, we found ourselves running next door where we had family members staying to supplement. The house was comfortable, views from balcony were beautiful & there are plenty of bears roaming right next to the houses for your wildlife photo ops. Overall good trip.

Great Getaway

The cabin and view are gorgeous. Our family had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here. Check-in was super easy. It's very close to the Gatlinburg strip while still having that beautiful view. It is so spacious, with a large table and extra seating at the bar. Having a full bathroom for each bedroom is wonderful. We really enjoyed the gaming console and theater room. We saw a bear on our first day right behind the cabin and throughout the trip we saw bunnies and other creatures. Our kids thought it was incredible! It didn't come with all of the "essentials" that we would have expected. It wouldn't have deterred us from staying, but I wish I would have known so we could have thrown some of it in the car before we left home. For example, we cooked and ate at the cabin quite a bit. There was no salt and pepper (we left the stuff we bought!) and there were only 3 spoons. There were 12 of us, but only 10 bath towels were provided (and no extra towels for the hot tub). We only found one blanket and the beds just have a sheet and a very light quilt. One other thing to note is that a lot of the doors don't close. The wood has warped over time and bedroom and some of the bedroom's bathroom doors won't shut any longer. Not a big deal for us, as it was all family. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you!

Disappointing

Walked in our rental and we found a mess. Mops, buckets, cleaning supplies, toilet paper rolls on the floor. I called the contact person, who was the owner. They called the cleaning crew to come in. The bathrooms were not clean and the place was dirty. They assured me the bed linens were changed, but 2 nights later our son found someone else’s socks at the bottom of the bed. We then stripped our beds and washed all the sheets ourselves. The bedding on top of the beds were dirty as well. The owner did refund my cleaning fee. The kitchen was not very well stocked with essential kitchen utensils for a large group and the pots and pans were old and disgusting. Some of the doors in the bedrooms didn’t shut completely. The lights in the bathroom flickered all the time, the bathroom drains didn’t drain while taking a shower. You stood in ankle deep water. One shower door would slide off the track if not careful. There was not enough blankets, just the covering on the beds. We were very disappointed in our stay. The owner assured us that they would be getting a new cleaning crew and take care of the maintenance items for future renters.

Great house, great location!

I personally wasn’t able to make this trip, as my daughter was sick and we had to stay home… but my husband and 15yo had a wonderful time at the house with extended family. The house was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and more. The pool table, video games, movie room, and hot tub were a lovely bonus. I would definitely recommend the house to friends and family!

We enjoy traveling and spending time together as a family! Our daughters play volleyball, so we spend most of our afternoons watching them play! We love to go to Gatlinburg and eat at our favorite restaurants and enjoy the beautiful mountains.

We own long term rentals and decided to venture into the short term rental market. After a very short time as hosts, we decided to continue to grow our business in Gatlinburg. We love being hosts and enjoy interacting with our guests. We know as a family with multiple children how important vacations are and strive for all of our guests to have a wonderful experience in Gatlinburg.
