Loved the cabin. We had 11 and there was plenty of room. The cabin was clean and ready to go. The location was great, close to everything. One suggestion is to lose the pics of the pool. The pool is at the community center and there is a fee per person. Thought it was in the neighborhood based on the pics. Had a great time overall.

Cabin was nice, we were supposed to get in at 4 pm but when we got there the cleaning people was still there, so we parked at property beside it and waited till they finished which was after 430, cabin was tidy, the silverware holder in drawer was filthy, had food crumbs & mouse droppings so I cleaned it out. We cooked there several times, had issues with stove burners getting to hot I'd turn it on to 4 or 5 and was like it was on high, on simmer it would turn completely red and wouldn't kick off unless I turned it to lower temp, I did notify owner. Also there was no trash pick up, we had 11 people in cabin so had lots of trash and the bins were full couldn't fit anymore in and still had 2 days left notified owner and trashed was finally picked up. Had a racoon get on back porch area though hole in screen over by door the grandkids had snacks and got in hot tub that evening so the probably smelled their snacks they had eaten out there. We did have a wonderful time, plenty of room. The owner was great about getting back to me.

Sorry you didn't have a 5 star stay but when you are staying during one of the most busy times of the year lots of turns can happen for lots of cabins at the same time which means that there wi be a cabin that has to have a later check in. I was very informative to you letting you know that it would probably be later than I would like. As far as the raccoon breaking in this is an on going issue not just with raccoons but with bear as well. We replace or repair the screen multiple times a year...just part of the mountains. Not sure what was going on with the stove whike you were there but i had maintenance there after you left and the stove was in "perfect " working order was what i was told. We are proactive with any issue that our guest may have. We know that things can quickly get untidy in a short period of time (especially in the high season) that is why wr have an inspector come after every cleaning to male sure that it is in good shape for our guests. Crumbs are not good either but hard for me to believe any mouse droppings were present. And you first of all never mentioned that to me and that you have been the ONLY one. We do appreciate you renting our cabin and hate you had a less than 100% positive experience. I will have these things checked again. Thank you.

The owner was very nice, knowledgeable, and responsive. The house was very spacious and comfortable to hold my large family. We enjoyed the hot tub and the front porch with a swing and rockers. The only reason I gave it a 4, is not the owners fault. The cleaning company did a poor job at dusting things down and wiping up sticky residue. But I did relay that to the owner and she was going to get it right. She offered to send them back to the house for us.

From the moment we booked this cabin, the host Lisa was in contact with me. She changed the email as it was an old one i dont use in order to better communicate. She also texted me in my phone. She was in contact a week or so prior to discuss fine details. The propery is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I loved sitting on the front porch in the early mornings listening to the birds and at night listening to the wild life. The place was very clean had all the amenities needed for a great stay. My kids loved the pool table and hot tub. When we go back we will most definitely be looking for availability of this place first. Thank you Lisa

We have raised three boys and now they have grown up to wonderful young men with wives and children of their own. We all love the gathering time in the mountains. Why they chose this property

My husband and I always dreamed of owning a little piece of this heaven people call the Great Smoky Mountains. We have always family vacationed in these mountains with our three boys and they are now bringing their little ones up to love the 'mountain house' as much as we do. We have created more memories than I can share. But, believe me when I say dreams do come true in these here hills. Please come be our guest and make some of your own memories!

What makes this property unique

One of the things that I look forward to the most when we get to spend time at the cabin is the front porch swing in the morning enjoying my first cup of coffee, the leaves rustling through the trees, birds singing their good morning song and just getting to ponder to thoughts of what the day will bring.
