Property was clean. Check-in was not well communicated. No check in instructions were provided (key was just found in door but we were there in the dark and the place was initially difficult to find). Unfortunately we stayed at a time that was unseasonably warm at the end of March, the highs were in the upper 90’s and there was no AC on the property which was pretty uncomfortable. We were supplied with fans but only one worked well and it took 2 days to get the 2nd one which also didn’t work well. I do not recommend staying here if in the spring as if it is hot they will not have the AC installed. Apparently the swamp cooler doesn’t get installed until summer. Also, there are minimal outlets and places to hang towels which have been noted on other reviews.
We love returning to Sedona, and Zen Studio was a wonderful home! We made good use of the hot tub and liked that we could walk to Uptown locations. Highly recommend this place!
We loved how close we were to uptown Sedona. This studio is tucked into the trees and it’s so cute and quaint. Perfect for our needs. We will be recommending it to all our friends
Pros: LOCATION and hot tub. Cons: no plugs or outlets near bedside tables for convenient charging. Bring adapters. There is a large transition strip/board between bedroom and kitchen area that I tripped on constantly. Toilet seat was not attached. Need more towel hooks. All this being said, I’d stay here again for the easy walkability, views and hot tub. Just some minor updates would be super helpful.
A nice enough property in a great location but beware that there is next to no soundproofing. An adjacent property rented out by the same landlord can have loud guests, and you can hear their stay to the level of conversations and them using the toilet. We were kept up by their lively evening. Not necessarily the host’s fault but it may impact your stay.
Location is perfect and the accommodations worked out perfectly. Host was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Only regret is I didn't stay longer in Sedona.
The place was small, but cozy and had all we needed. Fresh water, small fridge withe a freezer for ice. Good location, walking distance to the main part of Sedona. We enjoyed our short stay here.
Good location, soft bed, good shower. Fair warning to light sleepers- thin walls (can hear the Desert Retreat people very clearly).
Overall a good spot if you’re out all day explorIng.

This little gem of a property far exceeded my expectations. Star gazing from the hot tub was a Zen Studio highlight. Thank you for making my Sedona trip comfortable!
Patio needed repair. Bed, bedding and towels should be updated. TV was not user friendly. The kitchen was adequate for our needs. Loved the hot tub, and the rustic setting of the unit. Loved access to the commercial district.
We came for a short little vacation from the valley. This is a cozy little studio apartment that is blocks away from Main Street. The check in process was seem less and I would recommend this to anyone!
