The Space:

You'll love this fully remodeled home with a peekaboo ocean view and split system A/C! A one-bedroom, one-bath condo in the heart of Poipu at Kiahuna Plantation. Being conveniently located within walking distance of several shops and restaurants makes this the perfect place to stay. Also the use of the incredible Poipu Athletic Club where you can enjoy Pickleball, Tennis, and many other activities.

This remodeled third-floor condo has high ceilings, and being the top floor. you will not hear footsteps above you.

A newly remodeled kitchen that is fully equipped and a cold refrigerator to store your favorite items. The bedroom sports a comfortable king bed with a new mattress installed on September 23', and the living room contains a queen-sized sofa bed. Invite some friends or family to join you! A spacious lanai awaits your multi-colored sky views during sunsets. Follow the many paths through the acres of Kiahuna's manicured grounds down to the ocean and inviting beaches.

A rental car is the best way to see the island, however there are other options;

The Kauai County bus, Uber and Lyft are available. Bike rentals are nearby!

The host/property management were very prompt with communication and the unit was very clean. The air conditioning was very welcomed especially in August! The view was great and the kitchen was well stocked for making meals from the condo. Only suggestion would be an additional blanket for the pull out couch. Overall we had a great experience and would book again!

Best Location

Wow! What a place! Not only is the condo great, we couldn't believe how beautiful just the parking lot was. This is tucked right between some amazing trees and two incredible botanical gardens. We took a day and just walked around the property. We couldn't have found a better location for our 20th anniversary!

Great location

Wonderful all around but the street noise is a factor with no glass on windows. Would definitely stay here again. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked!!! I would just add some chip bag clips and a few travel coffee cups. A/C was awesome.

Good spot

No major complaints. Top floor so there's no one stomping above you. AC worked well. Ocean view, partially occluded by buildings in the distance. No body wash or shampoo in the shower which I thought was a bit odd, but it's easy enough to grab some from Longs. I'd stay here again.

Kiahuna Plantation Resort

Great location near food, shops, and beach. The room is mostly updated, and cute (except for the shower). You get a decent view of the ocean and the properties garden which was nice. Only complaint would be that the mattress is pretty uncomfortable. But overall would gladly stay here again!

Very nice unit, clean and in good shape.

Also a good view of the ocean, even though the unit/building is pretty far back from the shore. Conveniently located for Poipu activities. The property manager was excellent in communicating promptly and in a helpful manner.

Great location!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! Excellent location, close to good restaurants and beaches. The condo is a 5 minute walk down to Kiahuna Beach. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach every evening. It was very convenient to have access to free beach towels and lawn chairs from the beach hut. We also really enjoyed having access to the athletic club across the street that has a full gym, pool and tennis courts. The condo is was very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay there again!

Kiahuna getaway

We love, Kaua’i and Kiahuna Plantation. It’s the perfect location and the perfect beach. This particular unit is in one of the furthest buildings back, but the beach is still only a five minute walk. It has been nicely remodeled and is mostly comfortable. The coffee maker, blender, and bed pillows all need an upgrade If you are relying on the on-site laundry, call ahead to make sure it is open. The week we were there, it was under repair and the nearest laundromat was not close. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Generous and glorious!

We were thoroughly impressed with how well appointed this property was, the owners very considerately providing every amenity we could need and a couple we weren't even expecting. The view is glorious, watching the sea and the waves and overlooking the beautifully maintained garden. Everything we could need was located right nearby and the location is very central to all the activities on the South Shore of Kauai. We hope to return soon!

Place was beautiful. Ocean view. Well decorated. Plenty of fans to help circulate the air. We were told to pick up a key card in Lihue, but they must of just changed the lock to an access code. That made access a lot easier to get in and out of the condo. We would stay there again!

Nice overall

First time to Kauai. This was a good south side location for winter adventures due to the north side being under high surf all week. Unit was as pictured, nicely updated and comfortable. Shower was a little out of place versus the rest of the unit, but it was fine. A few nice coffee and dining options right across the street, and a many more less than a mile in three directions. Very nice beach for play, but plan on driving to snorkeling, at least in winter. Management company was communicative and attentive.

Exceeded expectations

We were a little worried that this unit was set so far back that the ocean view would be too little to appreciate. However, the photos in the listing do not do the view justice. Even with the Sheraton in front of the property, the unit is high enough that the ocean view is still great! The unit itself was clean and nicely updated. The tub/shower was well used and might be due for a little updating as well, but that is nitpicking as it did the job just fine. The AC was fantastic! The unit was well stocked with all the essentials as anticipated in a VRBO. We had no need to contact the host during our stay, but they were attentive and checked in with us via email throughout our stay to ensure we were doing ok. Overall a great place and I would stay here again.

Comfortable stay in Poipu

Great condo in the Poipu area of Kauai. Part of a large condo complex with multiple buildings that all looked to be 3 stories. Listing indicates sleeps 4 but this is really setup best for two people. The entire condo has been recently renovated and updated and is very nice with the only exception being the shower/tub. It is a bit of a time warp to step from the rest of the condo into the shower. Owner should really move this up the list of priorities to update to compliment the rest of the condo and make this a 5 star listing. Kitchen was setup with everything you need and even many things you probably don't need. They left no empty cupboard space for us to store our groceries and provisions which isn't great if you are staying here for more than a couple of nights. AC worked great. Shopping center across the street was very convenient but a little pricey. Unit is on the 3rd floor with stair access only in case that is an issue for guests. 10 minute walk to the beach is easy. Recommend you consider this condo as an option for your stay on the south side of Kauai.

Mostly great

I’ll start with the good: 1. Location is GREAT. 5 minute walk through lovely landscaped grounds to a private, shady grassy area with lounge chairs, and beyond to a perfect crescent beach (Kiahuna Beach). Resort provides beach towels, which is nice. An adorable monk seal even hangs out there often! Poipu Beach, with dozens of sea turtles and excellent snorkeling, is right next door. Behind the condo, an easy 3 minute walk across a 2 lane road with a crosswalk, is a nice shopping center with several good restaurants, a fantastic gelato place, general store, etc. 2. The place has been mostly remodeled (except for the original jalousie windows, which don’t keep out hot air, humidity, or noise very well) and was very clean. 3. We had a minor hiccup with check in, but the company was immediately responsive and helpful. In general, communication was prompt and friendly. The bad: 1. The AC situation is lousy. There’s just one mini-split in the living room, with instructions to not turn the temp below 75° or the fan above “low”. That’s not cool enough for *women of a certain age* to start with, and because the AC is in the living room, the bedroom was even warmer. 2. The mattress is TERRIBLE. Weak, lumpy, springs poking me in the hip, just really bad. I didn’t sleep well the entire 7 nights we were there. 3. No swimming pool on-site; it’s a short drive away. If owners added another mini-split in the bedroom and replaced the mattress, this place would be a 5-star.

Beautiful location! This condo had everything we needed, only things we ended up renting were an umbrella and a boogie board. The host was so helpful leading up to our stay and while we were there. Our family of 3 felt comfortable and slept well after long days at the beach! We also loved the pool at the athletic club, our 11 year old was all about the slide.The view from the lanai was gorgeous! We enjoyed raining morning and beautiful sunsets out there. We would definitely stay at this condo again in the future.

condo ist für längeren Aufenthalt völlig ungeeignet.

3/4 der Schränke waren vom Eigentümer verschlossen. Im verbleibenden viertel stand der Staubsauger, war der Safe. Es passten kaum Kleider in den Schrank, die Koffer mussten im Wohnraum untergebracht werden. Selbst im Kühlschrank war ein leeres Fach verschlossen und für den Eigentümer reserviert.Die Badezimmertür konnte nicht geschlossen werden. Dies wurde am 1. Tag beanstandet aber in 4 Wochen nicht behoben.Es gab weder ausreichend Handtücher noch Bettwäsche zum wechseln.Anlage ist extrem hellhörig.

Beach view

Great little place near the beach, walking distance, almost everything that you would need in the kitchen, the only bad thing is the parking lot, the cars get really nasty from the trees, but is has nothing to do with the actual condo. I would stay here in the futere.
