It was OK

I selected this property due to its location to the event center & price. It was functional. All the basics were there but not much else. We had to kill several spiders including one that was crawling on a pillow.The primary detractor was an hour before checkout, a man in a white truck sat outside the house and watched as my party was packing up. We assumed it was someone associated with the property. We considered confronting the person but were fearful of retaliation. They eventually left, but it was creepy and intimidating.

Meet All Requirements But Not Luxurious

We have enjoyed staying at Arindam's cabin. The cabin is very centrally located and close to the village. It has more bedrooms than we need but not much more. We were a family of six and was just barely able to find 6 chairs for the dining table. So if you're looking for something minimum, this could be a perfect fit. Other than that, some updates and modernizes would be nice. I couldn't even find any USB plugs in the unit

So helpful!

I accidentally booked the wrong weekend. I reached out to the owner and asked to see if I could switch the weekend. I didn't think it was possible because when I looked for the next week and availability, the place was not showing. He quickly helped me and moved my dates for me. Thank you so much! Our family had a wonderful time at Tahoe!

It was good

The road was very busy during certain window of hours but besides that, the location was super convenient. Did not stay indoors very much during our trip as there was a competition held over the weekend that we attended. Place was clean though and had good amount of essential necessities provided. For sure being within walking distance of the main strip was a major plus for us. Thank you again for letting us stay!

Explore Tahoe

Initial impression was a little underwhelming. The floor rug was ripped, the recliner broken and dim lighting throughout the house. The main floor bathroom mirror had not been cleaned or dusted, but the beds and the rest of the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed grilling on the gas grill and eating out back on the deck. Location was great with exception of being on a busy road making getting in/out of driveway a little tricky. Overall it was a great place to stay after a day of hiking.

Tahoe vacation 2024

Did not realize it was on such a busy street. The accommodations were suitable for our group. Interior needs some updates and better cleanup. The price was reasonable for the size of the home. Pictures on the wall were pleasant.

Comfortable and convenient

Our family of six adults had a nice stay- property is as advertised and is a good value for its proximity to everything. We worried a little about its being on a busy street but was easier than expected to pull in and out of the driveway on Pioneer Trail. The upstairs bedroom’s windows facing the street must have been chosen to be soundproof; shut the windows and the room becomes super quiet, muting the traffic noise below. Would recommend to anyone, including friends and family!

Great price for Lake Tahoe

This house is located in a very convenient area about 1 mile from Heavenly Village. It had everything we needed and the host was good to work with. There are a few lights that did not work and the recliner was broken but the house was fine for what we needed for our 4 day stay in the Tahoe area and did not break the bank.

Typical South Lake Tahoe property

Very central location, the owner was gracious and accommodating, everything but the wood stove was in working order, plenty of house space. There were some “quirky” things like you could not access the garage without going outside, etc. Not the Ritz but it worked just fine for a two week ski trip.

Great location, no problems, had a great time, i would recommend this place. Only problem was there was no information on a wifi name or password, hopefully they will have that info easily accessible for future renters

Met our needs

Communication with owner was great. Easy check in. Previous renters did not wash dishes well - food stuck in bowls and on plates. Worked well for a guys ski trip. Like other reviews said, property could use a refresh. Felt like my college apartment. Carpets very dirty but the price was commensurate with the accommodations. I would stay again for guys trip.

Perfect location for a week of Skiing

The property is in the perfect location. 5 minutes from Heavenly Main Lodge. 5 minutes from Heavenly Village and sleeps 7 comfortable.

South Tahoe trip

For the price we paid for the property it is good. It does need some updating and painting. The carpet is old and has a smell. The house needs a good scrubbing. I would change cleaning services if I owned it and periodically clean all the dishes and pots and pans. The location is about a 20 minute walk to the Heavenly gondola area. It is located on a busier street and there is traffic noise. I would stay again.

Stay at the heart of South Lake Tahoe

We stayed at this place for a weekend ski trip. Location of this property couldn't be better. Close to city center and a mile away from Heavenly ski resport. Overrall we enjoyed our stay

Very much potential needed to be reached

The pictures look different compared to the home. There was cobwebs, materials that were used and not cleaned properly, bathrooms were not very clean, the pressure in upstairs bathroom was drizzling water rather than good pressure. The room with twin beds has white patches around. The home was beautiful we had an amazing time, it has a lot of potential with decoration and cleanliness.

Great Stay

Property was just as listed, was impressed with all the extras that were included so we could do dishes, laundry and even toiletries in the bathroom. Great communication with host and easy checkin and checkout process.
