Cabin, 2 Bedrooms with King Bed, 1 Bath
We rent full weeks and partial weeks and even months so please inquire about all of them that fit your needs. If you prefer a weekend only, please inquire. Depending on the time of year, a weekend may require a 3rd night but in some seasons a Fri,Sat only could be rented.
The lake house is Located - just 2-3 miles off exit 15 of GA 400, so really close to the town of Cumming with so so many options for gas, grocery, restaurants etc. There is a ramp at Bald Ridge Marina about 1/4 of a mile away from the house so really easy to put your boat in and can even walk back to the house if needed.
-The house itself is only 81 Feet from the waters edge at full pool. Beautiful Wide - Open Views of the lake across the channel from the huge deck off the back of the house. Not back in a cove.
-Very simple, easy walk down to water and not steep at all. Compare our house to other properties and read all reviews. The lake front is 81 feet from the Shore line and not steep at all.
- Steps and rip-rap installed.
- Double Decker Dock with Very Deep Water! Tie your boat up to the side of the dock on the professionally installed vertical post with bumpers and tie up ropes because unfortunately our boat and the boat lift for our specific boat is in the dock boat slip. But guest have tied up on the side for years and it has worked out with no problems at all.
Home interior has Tongue and Groove Wood floors and Tongue and Groove Wood Vaulted Ceiling, with large brick fireplace. One of the roomiest 2 bedroom homes you will find. The 2 bedrooms, while roomy, allows for a vacation that is priced well below the homes with 4 and 5 bedrooms and carry a big price tag. Our home is perfect for the couple who is looking to get away for weekend or for the family who is looking for the perfect vacation spot on the lake.
-Second Bedroom is equipped with 3 beds. The set up is that we have bunk beds in the room so one single on the top and the lower bunk is a double futon with a 3" foam mattress added to the top of the futon for added comfort. Also in that same room is a double bed ( also called a full size bed). Also under the bunk bed set there is a single mattress that has been slide under the lower bunk so you can pull it out and use for a child ( it is a mattress only)
The property is very wooded on each side and very private. There are several shade trees over the cabin and back deck of house so you enjoy some sun and some shade.
The Deck on the back of the house is huge and stretches the entire width of the house.
Wooded Driveway - It is long and tree lined with a large parking area. This house is not crammed in between two homes with a tiny driveway. Very much the opposite.
The view from INSIDE the cabin or on the deck is awesome for watching boats go by or to watch and talk to your family on the dock or shoreline.
* During the SUMMER months only ( from May 30 to August 30) we must require a 7 day minimum starting only on Friday or on Sunday. ( If Sunday, send us an "Inquiry" and we will modify the quote). In addition if a guest wants to stay more than 7 days that is fine, however, we will have to send a "special quote" so we ask you to send an "Inquiry" and NOT to "Request a Booking" or we would not be able to accept it.
This is due to the constant changes of the rental site and the inability of the site's pricing structure to price it where you would receive an accurate quote for 8 or more days. Again, if you want 8 or more days, send an "Inquiry" and we will promptly reply with a quote.
Bald Ridge Marina is just around the corner by water and car for ramp access, gas and supplies. Approximately One-Qtr Mile ( 1/4 ) either by water or land. It is very convenient for fishing or boat supplies, as well as gas, of course, and launching your boat, then conveniently returning to the house with the trailer.
Fishing off the dock is great. One guest even caught a Twenty Pound Bass by simply casting a line from the dock!

If you are a family of 4 or 5, this house is a fantastic get away making you feel like you are in the North Georgia Mountains and will provide great memories. Just two miles off Ga Hwy 400 at exit 15 (Bald Ridge Marina Rd) and only 2-4 miles to the town of Cumming which offers Grocery, Restaurants, Gas, Fishing suppliers, Antique Shopping, Wal-mart, Super Target, Movie Theater, and lots more.
Ga Outlet Mall is only a 15-20 minute drive. You can also visit the North Georgia Mountains for a beautiful afternoon drive or day trip.
Boat rental, Water Park very close. Please no smoking. Pets allowed with extra deposit.

This is a great lake home that is so convenient to the lake and is about as Direct Lake Front as you will find. Only 81 feet to the lake bank is very convenient.

We allow one boat, max length of 24', to be tied up to dock. If you have a sail boat or any other type of watercraft 25' and over, inquire with owner prior to making reservation.

Unfortunately the Bank Surcharge Fee/International Bank Surcharge Fee is one that we are NOT able to absorb so we suggest that you check with your card issuer to see if they charge that fee and if they do, either pay it as an additional line item when booking the property and let us know how you wish to cover the added cost or if you go through with the booking and it remains unpaid, we will deduct it from the reservation/security deposit that is returned at the end of your stay.
Again it is very rate but any added bank fees charged other than the standard 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 credit processing fee at the time of payment by guest is the responsibility of the guest

House is in a nice neighborhood. It is only 2-3 miles from the town of Cumming (Ga 400 and Exit 15) for all the convenient grocery and shopping yet far enough away from the busy city to where you really feel like your in the North Georgia Mountains. House is 81 feet from the water for very easy access to the lake and back and forth unlike many homes on the lake. Double Decker Dock is on property. Washer and Dryer on site. Great Direct lake view from inside the home or on the deck looking across a channel not stuck back in a cover. Only 1/4 mile by land or water to Bald Ridge Marina for supplies and launching your boat.
What makes this Cabin unique
- 81 feet to the lake bank makes for a close walk to the lake as opposed to other properties - This home/dock is in a no ski zone which is nice as the dock does not bounce up and like some might where there is lots of boat traffic. - 2 miles to Ga 400 and 1 more mile to all the retail, grocery etc you could want - 1/4 mile to Bald Ridge Marina for boat ramp and supplies - Very large 2 bedroom home ( king bed in master) - View across the channel is fantastic and not back in a cove. Your not staring at the neighbor at his dock as you look out across the water.

Great Weekend at the Lake
We had an awesome time at the lake house fishing and relaxing. The house is just as described and there were no surprises about the property. We loved sitting out back and just looking at the awesome view of the lake. The fishing was great as well as sitting around the fire pit at night. We will definitely be going back. Thanks for a great weekend.
Good price, good location
We were visiting Georgia for the first time and wanted to stay in Cumming to check out the area and decide if we wanted to buy property by the lake. So we rented this cabin to get a feel for life by the lake. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with us to enjoy the outdoors, as the weather was rainy and cold. In spite of that, we enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is well stocked and was exactly as described. The location allowed us to get a feel for Cumming and some of the surrounding areas. Our host, Mark, was particular about certain things, which made us feel that the place is well cared for. We were able to bring our dogs, for a small fee, and they enjoyed the walks in the area.
Great House & Beautiful Location
The house & the location completely fit our needs.. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. If the weather had been a little warmer & a little dryer, it would have been absolute perfection. But, even without the weather completely cooperating, it came very close!!

A Beautiful Thanksgiving !!!
My family and I had a wonderful time at this lake house. The fire pit was a great family gathering area to roast marshmallows and reconnect. Mark was very thorough and accommodating. The house was clean and fully stocked for any occasion. I would stay here again,
The cabin is approximately 1/4 of a mile by water or land to the Baldridge Marina where there is a boat ramp and fishing supplies. Guest have described it as very convenient to launch boats and to get gas, supplies and other boating services. Our Home DOES include its own private Washer and Dryer on Site. Compare our walk to the lake to other homes. The walk to the lake is not steep and as one guest described it 'our parents are in their 80s and they could easily get up and down to the lake'. Some properties require walking down 100 or more steps to the lake or dock; or a long steep path to the lake. Read all reviews for the opinions on that.

Pets: We welcome you and your pet. However the rental website does not have a way of allowing us to add a pet deposit of an additional refundable $200 except we will have to send you an "edited quote" adding that deposit once you book if you decide to. You then get than email and "accept " the edited quote. Laborious I agree but that is the system. Our home has accommodated hundreds of pets over the years. Inquire with questions. What sets our home apart from others: - It is very close to the water. At 81 feet from the home to the lake bank, it is a rare find to be so close. This is important going back & forth to the lake & home. - The view from the deck of the home & INSIDE the home is fantastic watching boats go by. You can talk to your friends & family on the boat dock. -Washer and Dryer Included -Clng Fee $109 A Vacation Rental Agreement must be completed that the Property Manager sends to you complete with these specifics and others: name of guest/tenant, dates and dollars, guest day & night listed, dated and signed after the guest/tenant has booked this property or it is voidable at the option of property manager. As a Real Estate Agent this is necessary for our files.
