Beautiful updated cottage with a nice mix of antique furniture, art and modern amenities. Window AC units work GREAT!! Perfect location close to beach and shops. Friendly local vibes all around. Can’t wait to come back again!

We are from California and didn't know the area. I found the TVC Cherry Capital airport was an option and at first thought we would stay in Traverse City. I am SO glad we chose Suttons Bay instead. We loved walking everywhere. We much prefer a small, calm town over a bustling city. The cottage was peaceful and charming. Comfortable mattresses and very clean, updated bathrooms. Lovely to stroll down to the beach and walk out on the point by the harbor. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed to have all the basics. We brought coffee, wine, and ice, and we were set. Had wonderful meals at Martha's Leelanau Table and the VI Grill. Took a beautiful sail via Traverse Tall Ship Co.Thank you, Tom, for your communication and hospitality.

The first word that came to mind after our first night was peaceful. We have needed a place to getaway to rest and relax, and this was it. The cottage was clean and had all the necessities. The fact that it was so close to the lake/beach was amazing. We spent many days just walking down to the beach to chill out. The rest of the time, we spent walking up and down the main street shopping. It was a great time and a great stay!
