Clean place, beautiful lake, close to everything!!!!
perfect for a small family vacation. Market 22 is across the street with the best Reubens!
Great spot for a quick weekend away
Great little cottage right on little traverse lake. Was there with a couple buddies for an up north weekend. It is small, but that was perfectly fine as we really just needed a spot that was clean and comfortable for sleeping. Nice firepit outside. Owners also have Market 22 across the street which is super convenient. Would definitely stay again.
Charming cottage, beautiful lake view
We loved our stay, in spite of the spring break snow storms. The cottage is in a great location, just a short drive to Sutton’s Bay, Leland, or Fishtown and only 30 minutes from Traverse City. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to cook, and there were plenty of bath towels. The beds were very comfortable as well.
Our hosts, Melanie & Neil were great. They even left a gift certificate for their business across the street, M22 Market. It was such a nice surprise. The Pizza is amazing!
We look forward to staying again, when the lake is thawed. 😉
Beautiful, and relaxing and clean
My family of 5 really enjoyed this as a getaway for the weekend. It was 5 degrees outside and the tiny home was very cozy. We got to see neighbors ice fishing which we have never experienced. We are planning to visit again. Very prompt response and easy to follow instructions on departure.
Comfortable and plenty of elbow room for us.
We had a great time!
Melanie and Neal were outstanding hosts! We did not actually stay at their lakeside cottage due to their water pipes freezing just prior to our arrival. Instead of canceling our stay Neal and Melanie gave us the option to stay at the Homestead Resort. This was a great compromise to what could have been an unfortunate situation. They also provided us with a delicious breakfast and a dinner at their restaurant, Market 22, due to the situation.
Neal and Melanie are great hosts and I would definitely stay again.
Small, quiet and cozy
Cabin was small and cozy, perfect for a two person get away or for a small family. Very quiet and secluded in the winter. Views of traverse lake were phenomenal and calming. The owner said they took over in October - she has done a great job of making sure the cabin is comfortable and stocked with anything you may need during your stay. Owner left a gift certificate for the market directly across the street - we highly suggest the Ruben!
Thanks so much Mel for the weekend!
