Tahoe Donner Luxury 4 BR House w / Hot Tub and Chef's Kitchen (Sleeps 10-12)

Hermosa casa de dos pisos y 3 ½ baños y dos pisos (2500+ pies cuadrados) con bañera de hidromasaje. Tiene capacidad para 10-12 personas, y es perfecto para 2 familias.

Exclusiva casa de lujo recientemente remodelada con electrodomésticos de primera línea, cocina de chef y muebles nuevos en cada habitación. La casa está totalmente equipada con todo lo que necesita para sus vacaciones.

El salón principal tiene un plano de planta abierto con techos envueltos en pino y una chimenea. La cocina está completamente remodelada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, encimeras de granito, gabinetes nuevos y todas las comodidades, que incluyen microondas, cafetera, horno tostador, lavaplatos y todos los artículos y utensilios de cocina que necesitará. La mesa del comedor tiene capacidad para 8 personas, y hay 4 taburetes en la encimera. Tenemos dos habitaciones familiares separadas, una arriba y otra abajo, lo cual es perfecto para familias con niños. La sala de literas para niños también es un gran lugar para que los niños pasen el rato abajo.

Las 4 habitaciones incluyen: 1 King (con área de descanso adicional para 2 niños) en Master Suite; 2 habitaciones Queen; y 1 habitación para niños con 2 literas (4 camas individuales), para que 10-12 puedan dormir cómodamente. Estamos ubicados en la comunidad de Tahoe-Donner, que cuenta con dos áreas de piscina, un gimnasio y gimnasio, esquí de fondo y esquí alpino. El centro de Truckee está a minutos de distancia, y estamos a 15-30 minutos de las estaciones de esquí de Squaw, Alpine, Northstar, Sugar Bowl y Borreal.

En verano, puede disfrutar del campo de golf, las canchas de tenis y el centro ecuestre, además de una playa privada en el lago Donner.

La casa viene con pases para invitados que le permiten usar las comodidades por un cargo de $ 8 por persona cada día. Hay un gran patio trasero con un pequeño arroyo. Great Home for Family Vacation

Our family of 3 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed our stay. Great location - quick drive to town for groceries or to the wonderful amenities offered by the Tahoe-Donner community. We really enjoyed the private beach, and swimming pools. The backyard was nice - you’re close to neighbors on either side, but they were quiet and everyone seemed friendly while waking our dogs. The kids couldn’t really play in the backyard as the small creek was a bit of a hazard as the greenery hid the water and safe steps to take. The kids clothes were also completely covered in small plant prongs so it was a task cleaning them all off before reentering the house. Between the house games, and community amenities though, the kids had more than enough entertainment. James was excellent with communication, and we also really appreciated the house binder that reiterated rules and FAQs. Everyone enjoyed their beds, except for the one located in the master bedroom closet. It’s an awkward location with minimal room on the sides of the bed so getting in and out wasn’t ideal nor was it very comfortable. We just switched up beds after the 1st night and all was good. Fully stocked Kitchen was awesome for cooking meals each day. The interior and exterior stairs were a bit difficult for us. Without having a non-slip tread, going up and down the wood steps to either get to bedrooms or to the main floor in socks was a little nerve-wracking. Our elderly dog rolled down them after slipping the 1st night so we just had to block them when not in use. A few of the exterior back stairs wiggled so we would all just took ‘em slowly. The top and bottom decks were definitely not wiped down prior to our arrival. Excessive cobwebs, thick layer of dirt on surfaces with tree branches and leaves. Our 13year just made a couple bucks by spending an hour sweeping down everything so we could enjoy dinner outside the 1st night. If we were to vacation in the area again, I would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you very much for the memories James.

Family getaway

The property was clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the essentials, measuring cups, coffee maker and grinder. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft. Responses were quick. Would definitely recommend and stay again. We were able to keep the kids highly entertained at the house and didn’t even need to take them to the snow park or resorts

Mini-Family Reunion

While the property is part of a larger mountain residential development, it's setting is mostly private and serene. It was a perfect retreat for us to gather family from several households and provide not just beds for everyone to stay under one roof, but also plenty of room to spread out for individual conversations as well as a big gathering room for meals and games. It was a perfect layout to accommodate all 12 of us!

Perfect stay!

From the reservation, to accommodating a date change, to giving us phone numbers to reach them for any issues, to understanding when my husband mistakenly packed a blanket and tea kettle that looked just like ours but were theirs, the owners could not have been more helpful. The house is clean and has everything you could want. Extra blankets and pillows in bedrooms, throw blankets in the living room, a heating system that worked perfectly, a well appointed kitchen (including coffee bean grinder and pour over equipment! How many rental homes have that??). Dishwasher and washer/dryer worked well with soap for your use. The hot tub worked perfectly. The shuffleboard game was a total hit. We played game after game after game with our tween son and his friend. There are plenty of board games and books too. The location in Tahoe Donner is 8 minutes from downtown Truckee and 15-20 minutes to both Sugar Bowl and Northstar ski areas. Room for one car and all your ski or cycling gear in the garage. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our Christmas in this lovely home!

We had a wonderful time playing in the snow, cooking wonderful warm winter meals in the well-equipped kitchen and playing board games by the fire. My mother flew in to Reno to meet up with our family of 2 adults, 3 kids (ages 16,12,9) and two dogs. The house was the perfect size for our group as very comfortable and roomy. My sister and brother-in-law had hoped to join us, but illness kept them home. While we missed them, it would have been a little tight as we misunderstood the listing. Be aware that the fourth bedroom and the den are one in the same. You can either have 4 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms and a den/family room. All worked out well for us and we truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay in this home again! Hosts are responsive and provide excellent information, home is clean and well-furnished and comfortable. It was our first time in Tahoe Donner neighborhood and we loved the quiet location close to everything. Even though not snowed quite a bit during our stay, we never saw the service that is supposed to clear the driveway. This was not an issue for us as our kids delighted in shoveling the front walk and driveway. Snow is a vacation novelty for them. Looking forward to next time!

Perfect trip for Skiing/ Snowboarding

We stayed here for one weekend for my friends' annual Tahoe trip. We skied / snowboarded at Squaw which is very close. The accommodations were perfect as we had 11 of us. The amenities, cable TV's (for March Madness), the tabletop shuffleboard and hot tub all contributed to a fun weekend. Definitely recommend!

Large, well equipped, great floor plan for multiple families

We loved our stay at this cabin. Took our two young kids for their first snow adventure and stayed with our good friends and their young children. The cabin has a great floor plan for two or three families and is fully equipped to make you feel comfortable and connected. Hot tub and Donner guest passes are pluses. Nest thermostats and Apple TV are nice touches. Great location. Really well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Spacious, clean, nice!

James was so responsive to anything that came up. Place was fantastic. Well equipped, clean and well-cared for. Lots of games and toys for the kids, great comfy couch and TV, beautiful yard and surroundings. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay there again.

Beautiful and inviting home in a lovely setting...

The home owners have a wonderful home. We came with our extended family and everyone had a room. The back deck is a lovely place to relax. The house has most everything you would need for sleeping (linens), towels, cooking and relaxing. I liked that the home owners were very organized and made all attributes of the home very easy to use: TVs (we did not use, but instructions were very clear), hot tub, games, Tahoe-Donner activities, information on local amenities...thank you for making our stay wonderful and we look forward to coming back. BTW, the mountain biking at Tahoe-Donner is some of the best I have ever ridden.

wonderful vacation home!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this home. We stayed for 2 wks: the first with my family of 4 as well as our dog and the 2nd week with extended family members. The house was beautiful, spacious, well stocked and had everything we need for a wonderful and easy vacation. The streets were quiet and great for children to play and/or ride bikes through the neighborhood. We highly recommend this lovely home!

Perfect place to come home to

We just returned from spending 3 nights at James' house in Tahoe Donner and we couldn't be happier about the accommodations and amenities. It's clearly a place that the owner uses and enjoys because the furnishings, bedding, electronics etc. were all high quality that you would chose for your own place. We were 2 families with 5 kids and a dog, and the layout was plenty spacious. The great room was large and allowed everyone to hang out comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with enough dishes and glasses to accommodate double the amount guests. The master suite alone could have been it's own separate living space. Plenty of video games, board games, and shuffle board to keep the kids busy and entertained when they were indoors. The pup loved running free in the small forest out back exploring the many trees. James is super responsive and a pleasure to work with if anything comes up. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Great stay - Exactly like pictures

Recently ended my vacation there yesterday after a 2 night stay over the weekend. The pictures were exactly how it looked. The host was extremely accommodating. There was a binder full of all of the information we would have needed for our stay. It was clean, very modern, and I loved the decor. There's 4 rooms, each room having at least one bed. Don't be fooled by items that look like closets, they're actually pull down beds!!! The kitchen was fully stocked including a rice cooker, slow cooker, hot water kettle, etc! I am really amazed at how well-maintained the property was and how well the pictures represented the property. We skiied one day and chose Sugar Bowl and it was about a 20 minute drive. Close to a market as well, about 10 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a spacious and clean property (I mean, who wouldn't like that). The host also replies very quickly, within a day of e-mail, and picked up the phone right away when there was a minor problem getting into the property. I will definitely be returning to this property when I have another vacation planned. Thanks James!

Great kitchen and family friendly home.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with friends here. The kitchen was perfect and the home was comfortable for 3 couples. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Home owner was very responsive during the reservation process and answer some basic questions as we prepared for the stay. I would stay here again.

Gorgeous, CLEAN, kid friendly and perfect for our dogs & entire family!

What a wonderful vacation. The home was clean, very well stocked kitchen (from spices to dishes to pots & pans), a super comfy sofa and totally up to date with all the amenities of a "real" home! Modern! Washer & Dryer available, soaps, detergents, trash bags- everything provided. Literally. Couldn't have been more comfortable away from home. We even hooked up to our own apple library to enjoy our own movies & keep my 2 toddlers well entertained. Plenty of space - plenty of linens - just a very comfortable stay overall! Owners were very easy to get ahold of - and very pleasant, they didn't mind our phone call upon arrival at all. Great location to Tahoe Donner amenities too, and close to the lake for morning dog swims. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect for our family!

Six members from four families (plus our dog, a family member also) stayed at this lovely home for a family wedding at Sugar Bowl. It was perfect--plenty of room for everyone in the four bedrooms, and lots of room for gathering together in the beautiful kitchen and great room. The master suite could house a small family in itself! There were plenty of towels and kitchen was well equipped. The house was very clean and the owners were so pleasant to deal with--always got back to me promptly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Lovely, relaxing home!

This is a terrific place. Spacious, clean, bright, modern and right in the heart of Tahoe Donner. Everything worked perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 summer night stay. Lovely flat lot for the grand-kids to run around on. I highly recommend this property.
