Elevate your trip to the Smoky Mountains by staying at “Thunder Mountain Lodge.”
This ACCESSIBLE 4 BEDROOM CABIN IS Full of LUXURY and PRACTICAL amenities. It has an excellent location, 3 MILES FROM THE Parkway in Pigeon Forge, and still close to Gatlinburg attractions as well. Watch a movie in the theater room, relax in rocking chairs w/ a view on front porch, sit out back by the fire pit, take a dip in the hot tub on the back porch, or play a game of pool or air hockey inside for some friendly competition.
There is plenty of space if you need some downtime as well. Kids even have their own game room connected to the bunk room.
This cabin is close to all the action like zip lining, go cart race tracks, coffee shops, hiking, tours, horse back riding, and more. There is so much to love about this location and cabin. Truly something for everyone!!
MAIN CABIN FEATURES:
* Easy paved roads to drive to cabin for all types of vehicles. There is additional parking for campers, trailers, motorcycles, etc.
* This cabin has three bedrooms and a bunk room with attached game room for the kids.
* There is a king bedroom suite on MAIN FLOOR with 100% soft organic cotton sheets (which means wrinkles expected), large walk in closet, flat screen tv, ceiling fan, and private bathroom with granite countertops, a jetted tub and separate shower with seat and handheld shower head.
* There is a HOME THEATER ROOM on main floor as well for everyone to enjoy with an 85 inch TV.
* On back deck there is a BLACKSTONE FLAT TOP GRILL to cook on. Please clean after use and make sure it is oiled with the Avocado oil provided.
* RELAX AND UNWIND IN THE HOT TUB or travel down the steps to the Fire Pit.
* THE REMAINING 3 BEDROOMS ARE ON THE SECOND FLOOR.
* There is another KING BEDROOM W/ crib and private bathroom.
* The 3rd BEDROOM has 2 QUEEN BEDS. Direct access to full bathroom as well.
* The 4th bedroom is the Bunk Room with a GAME ROOM ATTACHED TO IT. There are 2 TWIN OVER FULL BUNKBEDs, and a FUTON, as well as video games and flat screen tv and air hockey table.
ALL BEDROOMS HAVE FLAT SCREEN TVS.
* All bathrooms have starter supply of travel toiletries, towels, washcloths, and toilet paper.

Originally from a small town in South Carolina and now I claim TN as home since 2020. I am a mom of 2 kids and a French bulldog named Halo. I have been fortunate to travel to many places and what has always stood out to me is the customer service and cleanliness are universally what matters to guests. So I strive to do that for my guests.
Why they chose this property
Thunder Mountain is the perfect place if you want to be close to all the action yet not be stuck in traffic all day just trying to get to all Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. With being only 8 miles away from Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, and 10 miles from Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, this location can't be beat. With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park being the most visited National Park in the United States, where you decide to stay is important. Although there is no wrong way to take in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains, I prefer not being stuck in the traffic on the parkway so learning the backroads is important. The Lodge at Thunder Mountain has beautiful mountain views from the front porch, and a backyard the kids can actually play and adults too. There is a fire pit out back and a hot tub to enjoy on the back deck by the gas grill.
Inside on the first floor is a full sized kitchen with plenty of seating and space for everyone. A living room with flat screen cable tv and gas fireplace. Also a friendly game of pool can be played here too. Also on the main floor is a theater room with a large flat screen tv and sound system and theater seating. There is a main floor bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom with a jetted tub and a separate shower.
The remaining bedrooms are on the second floor. One with a king bed and private bathroom. Then the 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and a bunk bed with twin on top and full on bottom. Also a crib is available in this room. There is access to a full bathroom from this bedroom as well.
Then there is a bunk room with game room attached. There are 2 sets of bunk beds with twin on top and queen on bottom. Also a futon is available. There is TV for kids gaming systems, and some arcade games, and an air hockey table to play as well.

What makes this property unique
This cabin checks so many boxes. The layout is spacious and accommodating for so many different scenarios. The driveway has plenty of space for everyones vehicles. Even trailer or camper space if needed. And the neighborhood is filled with a variety of multimillion dollar modern luxury cabins with beautiful views. Some even come with free Bear sightings. Just remember to not leave food in your car and definitely lock your doors as Bears have incredible senses of smell and tunnel vision when they smell food.
