The Sandy Castle is a very unique vacation rental located on Isle of Palms, SC. The Sandy Castle is a 9 bedroom / 4 bathroom / 2 kitchens and a (wet bar). There is plenty of room for large groups, families and friends. Must be 25 years or older to lease. Weekly Rental (Saturday to Saturday) during prime season - June, July and first two weeks of August. Three Night minimum during off season.

Wonderful large group or family vacation home. Lots of space to spread out and at the same time enjoy time with everyone . Close vicinity to the beach and all the other annuities that Isle of Palms has to offer.

Such a lovely week!

We had a great time staying at the Sandy Castle. It was big enough for our extended family. The twin bed rooms were perfect for the grandkids. We really like the outdoor shower - a must for coming in from the beach. And the location was great! It made running down to the beach an easy effort, as opposed to having to pack everything for a longer stretch. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Several things in the home need to be updated the glass of the oven door fell out when we opened the oven, loose tiles in the shower, broken windows etc Location was great, it was clean, very roomy. Just needs some updates

Overall this was a great house with a great layout! It had all the essentials and walk to the beach was easy. House is surface cleaned well but could use a deep clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would return!

Family reunion

This is a fabulous property for a family reunion! We easily slept 4 families/2 dogs. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Any questions we had were quickly answered and addressed with owner easily. Would definitely book a large group again! Amazing memories made!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay and it was exactly as listed. The house has many bedrooms, which we needed, and 3 kitchens! It is an older house, but was clean and nice to stay in. I have no complaints and want to thank John for a great time at his beach house.

Family time at the Beach

We loved our week at the beach! The home was a great size for our family and a short walk to the beach. The upper deck was great for eating and playing games together. I would have been nice to have some more dish towels, oven mits, and hand towels. We cooked a lot so these items would have been beneficial. Overall great stay and a great host.

Wedding party - Sandy Castle

The Sandy Castle is an excellent rental for a large group of friends looking to have a great hang with comfortable lodging, lots of bathrooms, quick access to the beach, and short drive to venues on IOP or in Mount Pleasant. We stayed here with our wedding party for our wedding weekend and couldn't have asked for anything better. Went for a swim the morning of the big day, enjoyed the outside elevated porch area, appreciated the lots of parking and laundry, hung out at the bench-style huge dining room table, and loved our stay. The layout is a bit atypical, and there are a few quirks (e.g., one of the larger beds is in a studio in-law style apartment that has a window AC unit rather than central air; the wifi isn't the strongest in most of the house). John was helpful and responsive, and it even worked out for a slightly earlier check-in than anticipated. It has everything you need! We'd definitely stay here again!
