Great house, great location

What a great IOP house! Great location closer to Wild Dunes and away from the higher traffic areas on IOP. Easy access to the beach, plenty of parking and space inside the home and outside on the many porches and decks. Huge kitchen with everything you need including a second fridge. We will definitely come back.

Enjoyed a great week in a wonderful house. Great beach access. Enjoyed the visits from the deer every evening. Appreciated staying in a well maintained and stocked house.

Spring getaway

Family Thanksgiving Gathering

Wonderful house with a well stocked kitchen! Comfortably held our group of eleven. Great location! Enjoyed the lovely walk out to the beach, convenience to shopping & restaurants, and even deer in the yard!

Beautiful Beach Vacation

My husband and I treated our adult children and their spouses and our grandchildren to an amazing beach vacation. The home was just a short walk to the fantastic beach and ocean waves The shelling was magnificent! The house was perfect for our group. We all had lovely rooms with comfortable beds. I hope to return to this heavenly spot again soon!

Isle of Palms great stay

Everything was exceptional. It is great proximity to the beach, only 100 yds away and walking distance to Wild Dunes resort wedding facilities. There was 7 of us and we were very comfortable in a very functional and pleasant setting. The host was also very exceptional in being very intentional in communicating to us to make sure our stay was great.

Perfect vacation destination

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. It was really close to the beach, the house had tons of room, super comfortable beds, and a very well-equipped kitchen with two refrigerators. The area where the house is located seemed quiet and not at all crowded so the entire week was peaceful and relaxing. If we go back to IOP for next spring break 2024 I hope this house will be available again.

Had a great time.

The house easily accommodated all nine of us. The short walk to the beach was partially shaded and did not cross any streets. Plenty of parking. The two refrigerators in the kitchen were a great plus!

Comfortable and conducive for family gatherings. Favorite room: the screened in porch and the kitchen, providing great spots for talking, games, & reading. Owner very responsive when any need arises.

Great Week in IOP

Large house absorbed our party of 12 easily. Separate bedroom spaces allowed some to sleep in late without disruption. Great kitchen and living spaces for hanging out, playing games, etc. Loved the two refrigerators in the kitchen. Quick walk to the wide, uncrowded beach for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Plenty of parking.

Large house, great location

We stayed for a week with our adult children and our grandkids. Everyone had plenty of space for sleeping & great common spaces as well. The proximity to the beach was perfect- a short walk through the side yard. The house had not been updated in a while, but that did not impact our enjoyment of the home. The house is located in a nice, quiet residential area of IOP. We highly recommend renting bikes and beach equipment from Carolina Bike& Beach.

Loved this house!

Absolutely loved everything about this place. The house was spacious and the layout was perfect for a big family. It had such a comfortable vibe. Big rooms, nice beds, plenty of recliner space for afternoon naps and a lovely screened porch with cool ocean breezes. Kitchen had all you need for big meals and the second fridge helped. Location on the island was great. It seemed secluded, even though house faces one of the main streets. Good size backyard next to beach access path. Low key beach, not far. Exactly what we wanted! Good communication during booking and before check-in. Thanks!

Roomy home

The size of the house suited us perfectly. We had 2 elderly couples and only one step in shower. In the upstairs master bath there was a tub with shower but no grab bars. It was difficult for one of the couples staying in this room. Also none of the toilets were comfort height. That was especially hard for one elderly man. The house was fairly clean but really needs a deep clean. There were cobwebs going up the kitchen window and the window sill was very dusty and littered. We had a problem with one tub downstairs that did not drain well. The property owner was going to look in to that. We had a dog and paid the pet fee of $325 but the web site says the pet fee is $175. I brought this to the attention of the owner and it was supposed to be changed on the web site but has not. This would be a great place for younger people but is not quite suitable for the elderly.

Hello! Thank you so much for your feedback. We enjoyed talking to you on the phone last week and hearing that your group really enjoyed their stay! We will look into the issues and address them, to the extent we can. We often have elderly individuals stay at our home and have made accommodations to ensure their stay is comfortable, as much as is practicable. There are grab bars in all of the showers except for one upstairs, and we have left a medical grade shower seat available for guest use. Perhaps your family member could have used any of the other bathrooms or the shower seat to have been more comfortable. The toilets are of standard height. The beach house is professionally cleaned by a cleaning company before and after each stay, and we regularly do deep cleanings, but we understand a window sill may have been missed and we will look into it. The pet fee is $325 per pet, at the time of this writing. We welcome young and elderly guests to stay with us. If you have any questions about any of the features of the house, we invite questions to determine if it would be a good or if elderly individuals should bring their own medical devices, such as potty raisers. Paradise on the Isle of Palms

This is such a fabulous place to stay! It’s a huge house with all the amenities you would ever need to feel at home and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We stayed in this beautiful VRBO home for an entire month, while relocating to the area.. Communication with the host was always pleasant and enjoyable. She went out of her way to make sure every single need was met. Walk to the beach without having to cross the street. You are steps away from having sand in between your toes. Would love to stay here again and will definitely recommend to friends and family visiting from outside the Charleston area!
