We at Buck Horn take pride in servicing our clients. No request is too small! So we have listened and now the cabin has AC thru out the cabin. When the house keepers left yesterday it was 94f outside and a chilly 68f downstairs by the large picture windows. So it is Done BUCK HORN has AC .My property manager will more than likely check you in and show you all that the cabin has to offer. We strive to make your vacation as enjoyable as possible. We are glad to help with arranging activities through-out your stay, even if it's only directions or a suggestion where the kids might like to go and have some kid time. Please feel free to contact us as the need arises. Having grown up in the area, I have a pretty good working knowledge of what might just be going on during your visit. Hope to see you very soon at Buck Horn.

Why Richie chose Gatlinburg
I enjoy being a type of inn keep. I love sharing information about our area and the going-ons of the many things to see and do during your stay at Buck Horn.I have motor cycled extensively in this area and would love to share some of thoughs hidden rides you only hear or read about. So yes I am biker friendly.I have plenty of room to accommodate trailers for your bikes and covered area to park your ride under. We know you have a choice as to where you choose to spend your vacation, and we strive to make it as comfortable, enjoyable, and hassle free as we may. Buck Horn is not a condo, time share, or one in a grouping of houses they call Chalets. Buck Horn sits on 11 acres of private land for your enjoyment with plenty of privacy, but just seven minutes to Gatlinburg, 15 to Pigeon Forge, 30 to Cherokee and 10 to the entrance to the Smokies. The local trolley even picks up at the foot of the drive and runs until 11 p.m. We cater to people that want a more private stay but still want to be close to attractions. Hope to see you soon at Buck Horn!

Unique, spacious cabin with helpful owner
Enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful cabin in the woods. Loved the Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Plenty of space for the four of us to spread out. The home is stocked with most everything you may need. Richie was very helpful with local sightseeing tips.
Very nice quite and private get away . Cabin was very neat and comfortable. Richie was very helpful on information for activities in the area . Thanks again
Wonderful peaceful cottage near it all
We really loved our stay. It was a fantastic place for a family and was nice to be away from the main drag of Gatlinburg. The views of the mountains and forest were great.
Awesome place to stay!
My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay in this unique and comfortable home. The outdoor table out front was a perfect place to enjoy nature, even when it was raining. The sound of rain on the roof was very different and delightful. We built a fire with the provided wood and it really heated up the downstairs! We utilized the stovetop, microwave and toaster oven with no issues. Just add some time to the microwave time to account for the lower voltage and consider bringing some coffee mugs as there are only 2 large ones provided. The tv room was comfortable and we loved relaxing in front of the large screen in the evenings. We found our beds to be comfortable and we loved how easy it was to get to wherever we needed to go. The space heaters in the bedrooms were a bit noisy but this would not be a deal breaker for us. We would bring our own next time if coming during cooler nights. We got to meet Richie and his pride in the history of his home was obvious. We would definitely return to this rental!
Great cabin with lots of personality
This was my first time to Gatlinburg and this was the perfect cabin. The location is great. You are within minutes of downtime Gatlinburg as well as the art district. The scenery from the back windows is gorgeous and because we went while the leaves were still down, we could see the mountains from the living room and bed rooms. I loved the design of the house. My kids have stated that when we go back, this is where they want to stay. We traveled with my in-laws so there were 7 of us and there was plenty of room and plenty of towels and wash cloths. This is definitely a place we will return to.
Absolutely Christmas Perfect!
We spent the week of Christmas at Buckhorn, as soon as you walk into the entryway its so beautiful, all the stone and wood. We are a large family with 3 little grandbaby's and there was room for everybody. A few highlights, the bathroom is remodeled, open and gorgeous. The kitchen is so stocked , we had plenty of everything pots, pans and seasonings. Its in a great location few minutes in both directions to town or McDonald's for a biscuit on way to Gatlinburg. We had a wonderful stay . 10☆ Family Vacation Home.
