Welcome to 476 Fiddlers Reach where you can truly enjoy the best of Kiawah Island. Located in the desirable Oceanwoods neighborhood just off one of premier streets in West Beach, this charming three bedroom cottage is just a short 3-minute stroll over the ocean and incredible sandy shores! With updated interior and fantastic outdoor spaces to make the most of your scenic surroundings, you'll find it to be the ideal spot to spend your Charleston beach or golf vacation.

You'll enter the home into the living and dining space. Both open in concept with plenty of seating for the group. The kitchen is just off of the dining room, and is fully-equipped and recently updated! The bedrooms include a king primary suite with private bathroom, a bedroom with both a king bed, as well as a room with two twins. The latter two share a hallway bathroom.

Prefer to relax or dine outside? Enjoy the new sectional sofa on the screened porch for your meal or your morning coffee. Or take in the sunshine on the outdoor patio deck, which has a grill, outdoor dining table, and more seating with a view of the lagoon. From either spot, the scenic lagoon behind the home invites the sights and sounds of the Lowcountry and you might even see some local wildlife like birds or alligators!

Great location!

This house offers the ideal Kiawah location for a family and/or group of friends who loves the beach. We were an easy 5 minute walk away from the beach!

The location is excellent. The house itself needs a few updates on the interior, and the floor was sandy when we first walked in. Sweetgrass was extremely responsive during our stay. We enjoyed our time (extended our stay one extra night) and really enjoyed walking to and from the beach and Night Heron Park with our kids. Overall the place is good, but a few updates are needed for it to be excellent. We would consider coming back.

Comfy Cottage in Great Location

We’ve been vacationing on Kiawah since the 70’s — when VERY little of the island was developed and there was still a herd of wild ponies. We’ve watched the multi-million-dollar homes go up — and they are magnificent — but our favorite weeks at Kiawah have been spent in Ocean Woods. Comfortable, homey cottages in an unbeatable location. This cottage is not fancy, but it has been well maintained and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful updated villa with screened in porch. 3 min walk to the beach. Guests need to be sure to buy or bring extras for kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed our stay on Kiawah.

Nice, safe, quiet, clean, and close to the beach

This is a very nice area, safe, with gatekeepers that make sure everyone entering the island is a legitimate guest. There were shaded walkways on the short, pleasant walk to the beach. Clean and comfortable furniture. Quiet family-friendly neighborhood, on a no-outlet road so no thru traffic.

A New Favorite!

We have been visiting Kiawah since the 70’s, and Ocean Woods is our favorite neighborhood. This cottage is a new favorite! Recently remodeled, clean, attractive decor, well equipped, and excellent location. We will be back!

Wonderfully Relaxing Getaway!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at this property! The location was probably the best feature! So close to the beach, which was important to us! Even though it was just two of us, and we didn’t need the two additional bedrooms, it was nice to have it so spacious. The owner’s suite had a very comfortable bed, the kitchen was well stocked. They let you know up front that certain items are enough in quantity for starter only and not a whole week, but they provide a well thought out list of additional items to bring. I recommend looking at that while packing. The area was peaceful, clean, and had parking. The only suggestion I have which is small, is the bathroom with the tub, needs something on tub floor, it’s very slippery! We love Kiawah, and would definitely stay at this property again!

Lovely stay

We stayed here with family for a week in October and had a fabulous time. We were 3 adults and 2 kids (ages 7 and 1), and we were all very comfortable in the house. The location is amazing. The house is well kept and had everything we needed. Loved the screened in porch and deck. Check in and check out were a breeze. Will stay again!

Kiawah long weekend

Our stay was wonderful! House is comfortable, well equipped and very walkable to the beach. Kiawah is a beautiful island with wide beaches and lots of bike trails.
