El chalet es un encantador encantador rústico exclusivo que acomoda fácilmente a varias familias ubicadas en el Lago Cushman, WA y ubicado en el Bosque Nacional Olímpico.

Disfrute de largos y calurosos días de verano a lo largo de 22 millas de costa virgen y cristalina. Disfrute de paseos en bote, jet ski, wakeboard, tubing, kayak, esquí acuático, piragüismo, natación o simplemente tomar el sol. Después de un día al sol, regrese al chalet y disfrute de una excelente parrillada con cócteles en la pintoresca terraza tipo "parque" con su propio arroyo privado.

Ubicado en el Bosque Nacional Olímpico, es perfecto para el amante del lago, el excursionista aventurero, el amante de la naturaleza activa o para sentarse junto al fuego y leer un buen libro.

Hay dos parques cerca de la casa. Ambos ofrecen lanchas, estacionamiento, mesas de picnic y una cala para nadar. El segundo parque ofrece un área de juegos adicional, arenero, voleibol, herraduras, baloncesto, cabaña para barbacoa, baños y un área especial con boyas para que los niños pequeños naden, salpiquen y jueguen.

¿Interesado en bucear, pescar cangrejos, almejar o cavar ostras en la ciudad de Hoodsport? Está en tu patio trasero.

El senderismo es por el camino con las famosas caminatas de la escalera y el monte Elinor a 11 km.

Kimberly's cabin does not disappoint. It has plenty of space for a larger group, a great deck right next to a creek, walking distance to one of two parks in Division 3,and its pet friendly. Our family have enjoyed coming here for the last several years. And to top it off, the lake is absolutely beautiful!Kimberly is great with communication and makes the whole process easy.

We had a lovely time at this cabin! Playing pool was a blast and we enjoyed the views of lake cushman. The property was clean and tidy, had everything we needed, and it was easy to check in. I recommend this cabin!

We have stayed at Kimberly’s is years past and decided to try another cabin because we were concerned about the cleanliness. The cleaning between stays always seemed good, but the cabin needed to be deep cleaned. We were also concerned about the towels/bedding, as they had were the same colored ones for years (and therefore not able to be sanitized). This year we decided to give it another try because the size of the house is great for our family and we love the proximity to the lake. Unfortunately, same concerns remained and even more concern about the lack of ventilation and amount of moisture in the basement. We have made lots of great memories here, but will not be returning.

The pictures do not do this property justice! We were beyond jealous of the laundry room, and it was the first time we have come home from vacation with no dirty laundry! Everything was set up and ready for us, we weren’t lacking anything. And the views are spectacular!

We stayed at this property 2 years ago and it was fantastic and well taken care off. This year the house was not nearly as clean, the patio was full of pine needles and sap, there was a half roll of paper towels, cob web in the bathroom, dust and crumbs. Bring paper towels. The housekeeper likes to drive by and give inaccurate reports to the host. Counting cars and kids. We had a reservation for 4 adults and 2 kids. House keeper said there was 3 kids and 4 cars. Then we slept in 5 beds ( reservation for 6) and the housekeeper complained that we took all the bedding off of 5 beds and was made the comforters and mattress protection was to be washed. I had already washed half of it before leaving.If you like your liens clean I wouldn’t recommend this property. There is a rotation schedule to clean the comforters and they aren’t washed after every guest. I got very hostile messages from the host on the laundry and the bbq grease. I would document the entire house before arriving and leaving. If you are looking for privacy I would not recommend.

To the many responses: the same housekeeper cleaned the cabin 2 years ago she is meticulous and OCD. She has cleaned the cabin for 9 years. The wrap around patio can be blown off and a little wind can kick up some pine needles; the house is surrounded by pine trees, and a little sap would be excepted. Plus, this is the first time I'm hearing about the deck. There are always a fresh roll of paper towels and half the time there is a 1/2 roll in the cabinet, again she never stated this. I'm not sure about the dust and breadcrumbs, she never sent a picture. The picture she did send of the downstairs queen had a few pebbles on the concrete floor, Again the cabin is in the forest. The picture she sent of a sparkling clean bathroom had a little circle edited into the photo at the top of ceiling, blowing it up I could not see a web, but again. spiders can create a web within hours. My housekeeper lives around the corner and does drive to clean other cabins along with her husband who works for Lake Cushman Security. They both stated on multiple days there were 4 cars in the drive with a dog she never disclosed and 2 extra guests another lady and a baby in a stroller. She was over the guest count by 2. She left the grill disgustingly full of grease (on overload) with no effort to clean, even when she initialed in the contract that the guests need to clean the grill or a 50 fee will be accessed. As far as stripping the beds she stripped everything down to bare mattress. We do ask the guest to strip blankets, sheets and pillowcases. If the comforter got soiled, we ask it to be stripped and put in the laundry. She stripped all the beds that the guests slept in. This puts tremendous pressure on the housekeeper to flip a 3-story cabin in 5 hours. Yes, the comforters are on a schedule to be cleaned. She did towels and they were folded if she did other laundry she left them in a pile with no note stating they were clean. When I sent an email about these issues. I got push back and hostility. I had to ask twice about the dog, She finally said it is a service dog; I would never charge for a service dog but do not like the deception about not disclosing. Interesting fact, she sent a booking for 2027 the minute they left the cabin. It does take logistics to send messages to contact the guest, housekeeper, collect photos and get back with everybody. The booking expired before I could gather appropriate information to make a decision to report damage and if I would rent to this guest. Unfortunately, I will not rent to this guest again.

A Great Getaway!

The cabin was beyond expectations! My friends and I had an absolutely amazing time! Even in the rainy months, there are so many things nearby to explore, and the privacy and cleanliness of the cabin was superb!

Lake Cushman is a well kept secret. Away from the hustle & bustle of daily life. It offers so many different and diverse activities. From boating to hiking, diving to oyster digging. The picturesque Olympic National Forest as your backdrop. I have been camping in this location since my children were small and decided to invest in a home so I could share the same peaceful beauty, fun experiences and fond memories that I have of this area with other friends, family and guests.

You can enjoy boating, fishing, skiing, tubing, kayaking, jet skiing, swimming, sunbathing, golfing and tennis. The Olympics offer over 20 hiking trails from the leisurely to the more strenuous. One of the best hikes is Mt. Elinor once you reach the summit you are enchanted with the view of the cascades and Lake Cushman. The town of Hoodsport offers scuba diving, calming, oyster digging, crabbing, several restaurants, shopping and a winery. If you still have any get up and go after a day of sun & fun the Lucky Dog Casino offers a little nightlife.
