The chalet is a cute UPSCALE, RUSTIC CHARMER that easily accommodates multiple families located at Lake Cushman, WA and nestled against the Olympic National Forest.

Enjoy long hot summer days along 22 miles of pristine, crystal clear shoreline. Enjoy boating, jet skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, kayaking, water skiing, canoeing, swimming or just plain sunbathing. After a day in the sun come back to the chalet and enjoy a great BBQ with cocktails on the scenic 'park like' deck with it's own private babbling creek.

Nestled in the Olympic National Forest it is perfect for the lake lover, adventurous hiker, the active nature lover or sitting by the fire and reading a good book.

There are two parks close to the house. Both offering boat launch, parking, picnic tables and a cove for swimming. The second park offers an additional playground, sandbox, volleyball, horseshoes, BBQ cabana, bathrooms and a special buoyed off area for small children to swim, splash and play.

Interested in scuba diving, crabbing, clamming or oyster digging in the town of Hoodsport? It is in your backyard.

Hiking is down the road with the famous Staircase and Mt Elinor hikes 7 miles away.

Looking for a winter getaway? Enjoy quiet nights by firelight, a good book or a great board game. The holidays might even bring a little snowfall.

The house has been completely updated with new appliances, fully stocked kitchen, satellite TV's huge off-street parking for multiple cars and boats. Perfect for families, reunions, church retreats, or honeymooners.

The house can sleep 8 with 2 Queen bedrooms. The loft has 1 queen, 2 twin beds and a youth bed, the downstairs bunk room with double bunk on bottom and twin on top.

There is also a pack 'n' play crib stored in downstairs closet.

Lake Getaway

Fun Easter weekend trip with some lucky sunny days. The house is setup great for large groups. Having the game room two rooms and bathroom in basement can create the needed getaway while on a getaway ;) Very clean and easy access to lake, hiking, also fast Wi-Fi according to my teenager. Highly recommended and look forward to a future stay.

Lake Cushman retreat

As advertised. Unfortunately though, the bottom level was un useable due to extreme mildew toxic odor. Also some hazardous decor items. I would not recommend kids under 6 unless issues addressed.

Fabulous Place

If you ever need a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting and a skip and a jump away from the most pristine lake in the world, come and stay at Kimberly’s Cabin! We had a memorable ten days there and were so comfortable, loved the new furniture, open space, laundry facilities, outdoor deck and bbq. The Mountain Views are stunning and the hikes in the National Park are wonderful ! We highly recommend this Paradise to ever!

A Great Getaway!

The cabin was beyond expectations! My friends and I had an absolutely amazing time! Even in the rainy months, there are so many things nearby to explore, and the privacy and cleanliness of the cabin was superb!

Lots of space, clean, close to national park and lake.

We so greatly enjoyed our stay. The amenities were great, cozy, fire pit, bathrooms are updated and clean, bedding and towels thoroughly clean. We stayed here and it was so much nicer than staying in town because it is so close to hikes and the national park entrance. The location is peaceful and quiet. You can see the lake from the front windows through the trees and that was just perfect for us.

INCREDIBLE GETAWAY

This property was absolute perfection for our getaway with our friends. The location truly takes you away from the hustle, bustle, and noise, and gives you a slice of heaven that truly allows you to disconnect and recoup. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Awesome place at Lake Cushman

We’ve stayed here twice now and have really enjoyed it. The house is perfect for our family of four and its proximity to the boat launch is convenient. We really love hearing the creek burbling as we enjoy morning coffee on the deck. Kimberly is a great host and very responsive.

Excellent place to spend time with family.

This was a clean, tidy, comfortable place with a pool table, bonfire pit, spacious deck, and super close to the lake and hiking trails. We made coffee and took a nice fresh walk to the lake to drink our coffee every morning. We will definitely be back. There is plenty of room for extended family members as well. Thanks to everyone for a comfortable place to stay.

Lake Cushman is a well kept secret. Away from the hustle & bustle of daily life. It offers so many different and diverse activities. From boating to hiking, diving to oyster digging. The picturesque Olympic National Forest as your backdrop. I have been camping in this location since my children were small and decided to invest in a home so I could share the same peaceful beauty, fun experiences and fond memories that I have of this area with other friends, family and guests.

What makes this property unique

You can enjoy boating, fishing, skiing, tubing, kayaking, jet skiing, swimming, sunbathing, golfing and tennis. The Olympics offer over 20 hiking trails from the leisurely to the more strenuous. One of the best hikes is Mt. Elinor once you reach the summit you are enchanted with the view of the cascades and Lake Cushman. The town of Hoodsport offers scuba diving, calming, oyster digging, crabbing, several restaurants, shopping and a winery. If you still have any get up and go after a day of sun & fun the Lucky Dog Casino offers a little nightlife.
