10/10 Excellent

Perfect one week family vacation.

Our cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the compound was exactly a one mile walk from the beach. Sue was very kind and helpful. Since we had just picked one child up from camp, the coin-op laundry was a plus.

About the host

Hosted by Laura Legere

Host profile image
We are third-generation owners of the business our grandparents and parents built, beginning in the 1950s. We were raised on the property and love running a small family business, as well as being stewards of the cottages and the protected tidal wetland that we overlook. Some of our returning quests are families that have been coming to stay with us for four generations.

Why they chose this property

It is 'off the beaten path'. It has beautiful, uncrowded, peaceful green areas and yet is just one mile from the ocean.

What makes this property unique

We are small and quiet. We have decided to retain our green space and not over develop the property.
