This is a beautiful Tahoe property set amongst trees and forest, with backyard privacy. The house is perfect for family play and entertaining, with landscaped back and front yards, and huge outdoor living space with built in hot tub, and built in BBQ. This home has a completely FLAT driveway for easy access during the winter months. The front entrance features a covered, enclosed stairway for protection from weather. Brand new beautiful wood floors on main level; newly remodeled upscale kitchen with all new counters, cabinets and appliances - completely stocked with new dinnerware/flatware/cookware, etc. . . The brand new Chef's kitchen is a cook's dream and is perfect for dinner parties and family gatherings. The Dining Room Table which seats 10 and counter seating for four. Our home is fully stocked with wine glasses, highball glasses, cocktail glasses, placemats and cloth or paper napkins.

The Master Bedroom is spacious and luxurious. Great forest views and access to deck from Master. Relax in the newly remodeled spa bathroom featuring an oversized Jacuzzi tub after an active day. The space also features a towel warming rack and heated floors. Also, the Master features a brand new tempurpedic King bed, with quality bed linens for an amazing night's sleep. TV with access to Fubo via Firestick (all hooked up).

Three other bedrooms are charming and tastefully decorated. 2nd Bdrm has Queen bed; 3rd Bdrm has King bed; 4th Bdrm has two full beds (this room is best for kids). The 4th bedroom has the Nintendo Wii. The two non-master bathrooms are full bathrooms with large counter spaces and tub/showers. One has been recently remodeled. Brand new towels and linens throughout.

Main Level: Features Great Room and Sliding Doors with access to phenomenal Outdoor Entertaining Area with landscaped yard, Horseshoe Pit, Tiered Decks, and Built-in BBQ with Gas Line Hooked into house gas line. Brand new 42" flat screen TV, BlueRay DVD Player. Master Bdrm on main level.

This home is recommended for one or two families depending on the number of children.

The Garage is large and easily accommodates 2 cars, and the driveway has an additional angled parking space which doesn't block entrance to garage. Driveway is wide and can accommodate more parking.

Beautiful home, clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Close to town. 20 min drive to Donner ski ranch. The host was friendly and quick to respond with the few questions we had after we arrived. The hot tub was a hit with this kids! 10/10 recommend!

Very nice house

Perfect for 2 families. We stayed for our ski trip. House had everything we needed. Hottub is also nice. Driveway is flat makes it easy drive in-out.

Slice of heaven

This is a beautiful house with plenty of room for 2 families and 3 generations. Updated appliances and well stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. Also loved hot tub on the deck. Looks out on a forest behind house, so very serene. Highly recommend.

Beautiful updated home

We enjoyed our stay in the Lynds' home the week before Christmas. The primary bed was exceptionally comfortable. The house is large, beautiful and modern. I especially appreciated that the kitchen had all appliances I needed and staples such as spices, baking powder, etc. so I didn't have to bring them with me or buy them. The wifi was great, which is important as we brought our ROKU to stream t.v. and also we needed to work a bit on our computers. It was also nice that the home was decorated for Christmas as we were spending the week before Christmas there. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at this wonderful home in Truckee and couldn't have had a better experience. The house is perfectly set up for a family—the deck and backyard provided a fantastic space for the kids to play and enjoy the mountain air.What truly set this stay apart, however, was the hospitality. We were there during a major snow storm that closed many of the surrounding roads, and the hosts were incredible throughout. They checked in on us frequently to ensure we were safe, which provided so much peace of mind during the weather alerts.It’s rare to find a property that is both a great physical space and backed by such thoughtful hosts. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly getaway in the Tahoe area!

Excellent choice for family

The house is very clean, the setup is ready for big family. We had 2 families traveled together. The dining table was big enough for all of us sitting together, the kitchen has everything you need for your trip. This is one of the best experience i have for a house rental.

Amazing home for our vacation

We stayed at Cindy’s house for 3 nights, and we couldn’t have asked for a better house for our two families (with 5 kids). The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and so thoughtfully stocked with everything we could ask for. The yard is absolutely amazing - we decided to skip second day of skiing and played in the yard all day (and the house comes with sleds and snow toys). At night, the kids had a blast playing board games and video games. Cindy was super responsive, thoughtful, flexible and accommodating and it’s obvious how much she cares about her guests having a wonderful experience. This is definitely a home we would stay at over and over again!

Awesome Holiday Vacation

Beautiful cabin, fully stocked and near everything. Beds were so comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, Cindy the owner was very responsive to my questions. Cabin was clean, neat and kept up very nicely. We had plenty of room for everyone. Could not have asked for a better place to stay for our Holiday vacation. We truly enjoyed the cabin and the area, highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful and comfortable house

I went to this house with my family (6 adults and 4 children) at the end of February. We wanted to enjoy skiing and playing in the snow. Although the weather was not so good, it snowed and rained most of the time, we still enjoyed our stay very much. The house is so beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped that hanging out there was a pleasure. The children enjoyed playing in the snow and sliding in the backyard, playing games inside, and watching videos. The adults enjoyed preparing and eating our meals in a nice and well-equipped kitchen open to the dining room, socializing, and having happy kids. We also enjoyed skiing in the nearby resorts. We would definitely like to go back to this house.

Great Home, wonderful winter landscape!!

My family and I want to spend Christmas in a nice place, well located, easy access and try our first ski, so after a lot of looking on hotels and resorts I got here and we are quite shure this was the best option instead the high rates hotels. The location is near to Reno so you can be there in 30 minutes, the town of Truckee is amazing and everybody love it is like 10 min and many options for ski. The house has all you need you adults and kids, even the house is one floor all the rooms are well distribuited so everybody has privacy meanwhile other can see TV, play or be in the kitchen or dinning room. The cabin is really a town home with all appliances and things you require, the kitchen has all make practically everything and let to all the people stay in touch the the main halls, the backyard has a deck with a gas grill and a lot of space you can practically dont know the limits of the house so you can take a walk in the all around, play with the snow and sledge down in the backyard, the house is quite cosy and outside is quiet. Cindy was so kind and helpful (I really made her a lot of questions ups!) during the selection of the house, finally I must say my family and my nephews (12 and 8) had a wonderful holidays and we hope we can return in the future, and I already telling my friends that we must plan another trip and stay there. There are plenty activities on winter as well on summer! Once again this is an amazing place to stay and I recommend it for shure!!. Thanks for this incredible holidays!

The best

The house is beautiful and warm and feels lived in. There is a beautiful backyard and deck with everything you could want, a bbq and seating and a hammock! The kitchen is great, lots of room to cook and well laid out. The couches invite you to relax and the master bathroom with a jetted tub is fantastic. We will be returning soon....

We all had a great time in Truckee and your home was absolutely lovely, very comfortable, perfectly appointed, well stocked kitchen, and still kid-safe for a curious 2 year old. What a treat to walk right out the back door to the perfect sledding hill and a nice little snowshoe hike. Looking forward to next time!

Perfect for a friends/family ski getaway!

We rented this lovely home with our good friends (another family) over MLK weekend for our 2nd annual ski weekend. We have two 6-year olds and a 4-year old, and are just teaching them to ski. We made good use of the membership to the Donner Tahoe Recreation/Snowplay, and Ski Area -- perfect for our needs -- and just a short 15 minute drive from the house. This home has all the comforts of home: a modern, big kitchen with a big table for lively dinners, easy backyard access, widescreen TV, games, a fireplace and a big comfy living area. The house is very well-maintained, immaculate, and well-appointed -- we were all sad to leave! We loved that the house is close to downtown Truckee, and a bit shorter drive to/from the Bay Area. The owners were very accessible and easy to work with. We intend to come back again and would definitely recommend to other friends and family.

Great Family Rental

My family rented this lovely home in July this year and we are beyond happy with our stay. The house is amazing and so beautiful! I have two small children and the house was kid friendly with a great backyard. The house has a huge modern kitchen and all of the rooms/bathrooms were absolutely wonderful. We had access to the Tahoe/Donner rec center and private beach area which is fun for the entire family. This is one place we will be renting again!

Awesome property and ammenities!

This property is perfect for large or small family. First, the house is beautiful inside with modern mountain home finishes in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. The online pictures accurately represent the property and the owner was very responsive in addressing our questions and concerns. The entire home was very clean and comfortable. My kids loved playing in the backyard, which was perfect while we bbq'd, ate lunch/dinner on the deck, or just rested in the main family room and could easily keep an eye on them. Other fun backyard stuff included a hammock and horse shoe pit. Second, you can't beat Tahoe Donner ammenities and their guest rates are very reasonable $6-$8 for a family of 4 to access the Northwoods or Trout Creek facilities. Northwoods pool has a cool slide that my 4 and 5 year olds loved, plus both pools have at least two lifeguards watching the pool. We discovered the hiking trails, which are nicely maintained, and were accesible at the bottom of the street. The whole family enjoyed hiking on these trails everyday which had easy to slightly moderate inclines... in fact my 4 year old daughter wanted to keep pushing up the trail although we had already hiked out 2 miles before turning around. We played the Tahoe Donner golf course once. Nine of the holes were under repair and not playable due to the dry winter, but the rates were reasonably adjusted, the course played well considering and all the staff were friendly and accomodating. Bottom line, I would recommend this property to family and friends. This is a great house with lots of community ammenities. Easily the best family vacation yet with lots of fun memories. We will definitely be back!

Welcoming Home

This is our third time back to your amazing home (yes, this is a home, not a cabin!) and words can not describe just how amazing your place is. The kitchen is fully stocked with top of the line cookware and appliances. The bathrooms were all updated and luxurious. The four bedrooms can easily accommodate two families. We only had to bring food and the clothes on our backs, you had everything else that we could have possibly needed (even laundry and an outdoor grill). The kids love playing in the backyard and we love watching them from the deck. We also enjoyed using the guest pass at the Trout Creek recreational center to swim, play tennis and go in the spa. We would definitely recommend your home to anyone! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

GREAT CABIN!!!

We have rented many cabins, including others at Tahoe-Donner, but this is truly an outstanding cabin. It is impeccably clean, super comfortable, nicely decorated, and has everything that you could need or want for a cozy evening or a dinner for 10. It's well set up for two families or three couples as there are two beautifully decorated bedrooms-- each with its own bathroom, and then two more bedrooms that share a third bathroom, and they are well spaced for privacy. We had three adults and four kids and it was great as everyone had their own space. The kitchen and dining areas were a pleasure to use, and there is a built-in outdoor BBQ, too. We played and relaxed in the great backyard, and we will definitely stay here again. The amenities and layout made staying here a pleasure. One tip: nearby sport shops were super helpful with recommendations re: bike rides, rafting, etc. We had a memorable family vacation here, and the owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Great Rental!!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at this absolutely beautiful home in the Tahoe-Donner area. It comes fully-equipped and had everything we needed to cook and relax after a hard day of skiing. Renting was effortless and we will definitely stay there again. It is kid friendly too!

A Wonderful House!

My family and I had an excellent 3-night stay at this beautiful house. There was more than enough space for all of us (6 adults and 1 child), it was very clean, the kitchen was a delight to use, my son had fun with the Wii, the master bathtub was luxurious . . . what more can I say! The owners were very easy to work with, and everything was exactly as advertised. The location is quite convenient to many things. I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful house.

We love everything about it - skiing, hiking, swimming, biking, tennis, breathing the air, the wildlife, the relaxed lifestyle. We have made so many memories here, and we hope that you can too!

Tahoe Donner is a wonderful, mountainous resort community with its own small downhill ski area, a fantastic cross country ski center, a sledding hill, small market/deli, and Recreation Center. The Rec Center offers hot tubs, heated pool, fitness center, saunas, health spa, tennis courts, downhill and cross country ski resorts, equestrian center, Golf Club with 18-hole course and driving range, a public restaurant (The Lodge at Tahoe Donner), and a private beach on Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner is conveniently situated at the upper west end of Truckee. It is 5 minutes to downtown shopping and restaurants, and 10-30 minutes to ski area resorts including Tahoe Donner, Northstar at Tahoe, Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Sugarbowl, Soda Spring, Donner Ski Ranch, and Royal Gorge Cross Country Center. We also love Tahoe in the Summer. The Tennis Center is beautiful with both tennis and pickleball courts.
