Green Gable Inn offers a choice of the main house which boasts 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, a large great room with 20 ft. ceilings and stone fireplace. Gourmet 20X25 kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, kitchen table that seats 6 with views of the back English gardens. Additional dining room seats 8 overlooking the front gardens. Beautiful cherry hardwood floors on the main level. Master bedroom on main level, featuring King bed and master bath with jetted tub, separate shower and double sinks. Upstairs provides 2 bedrooms (2 queen beds) with a Jack and Jill bathroom.
Or combine with the private guest quarters which boasts 3 beautifully furnished bedrooms (1 King and 2 Queen beds) and separate living room with Brazilian hardwood floors. Dining area that seats 6 with bay window that overlooks the front gardens. You may choose to combine the main house with the guest quarters (for an additional $175 per night) for a total of 6 bedrooms which will sleep up to 12 people. Hansville is close to Seattle/Bainbridge Island and Edmonds/Kingston ferries and just a short drive to the historic towns of Port Gamble and Poulsbo that offer restaurants and entertainment. The location is also ideal for visiting nearby Port Townsend and the Olympic mountains.
The front porch is great for lounging and cooking on the barbecue grill provided for your use. There is a TV and DVD in the living room along with an extensive DVD library. Guest quarter's dining table seats 6 with beautiful views of garden.
You can also enjoy biking along the Hansville loop and golfing at the Whitehorse Golf Club in Kingston. In Poulsbo you can rent boats, sailboats or kayaks. Check in is 4PM or after and check out is by 10AM. Owner resides on site in detached carriage house.

Green Gables is such a delight and owners Ken and Brenda are helpful in providing information about activities and sights. It is quiet, serene and taken care of beautifully. The house is wonderful and we felt like we were at home away from home. The property is absolutely beautiful - we felt like for five days we were living in a postcard. Thank you Ken and Brenda!

We needed a break from fast paced city life and found this beautiful refuge just a short ferry ride away. The grounds are simply lovely - if you are a garden lover this is for you! The house is VERY clean and nicely furnished like a fancy hotel. They are very generous with their amenities like breakfast items: juice, eggs, yogurt & the Sluy's bread was delish! They have TVs and tons of movies. Outside there's a large grassy area for kids to play in. There's an easy hike a couple of blocks away up to Buck lake. The beach is just a few minutes drive away. The lighthouse isn't always open, so you'll have to check. We will definitely try to make it back there soon!
My husband and I visited Kitsap County for a job interview, and found this location to be a great home base for the trip. The beach and lighthouse are a short distance from the Inn, and provided amazing locations and views for our morning exercise. Mount Baker, Mount Ranier, and everything the Puget Sound has to offer are right off the beach! The reader should believe the many positive reviews. The kitchen was stocked, the proprietors provided fresh bread from Poulsbo, they provided many tips on Kitsap County desinations, and the home and grounds are incredibly beautiful. We absolutely will stay here again!
Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful, well-kept, vacation home for the second year in a row! There was room for the grandchildren to run and play, quiet places for the adults to visit, plenty of supplies, comfortable beds, cozy seating areas – both inside and outside, lovely garden paths, welcome treats such as fresh bakery bread, eggs, and orange juice, and movies galore. The hosts are very welcoming and very accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure everyone has a good time and has everything they need to be comfortable. We highly recommend this beautiful vacation retreat to anyone who wants to relax and have a great time.
Our stay with Ken and Brenda was the very best part of our vacation. And we stayed for four months in Puget Sound and that has so very many wonderful things to offer! We were treated as long lost friends. But they were so careful not to intrude on our time. The house is beautifully decorated and as a person with allergies, it is spotless. The breeze, not wind, that always seems to blow in Hansville is so refreshing on a warm day. We never felt the need for air conditioning because we would open windows at night and close them during the day. Add the fans to it and it was perfect. This was the hottest summer on record. The area is so lovely that we bought a house in the area. It was so great staying with Ken and Brenda, that we went back for another month on the same vacation!
