About this property
Historic,No neighbors, no street lights.87-1669 Paakea Rd., Waianae,HI 96792
You will first go through a war zone, next, hidden gem.
This listing is for a 4 bedroom plus a small cozy reading room, 2 full bath. Master or main bathroom has a walk in shower 5x5ft w/a built in bench. The house is a huge duplex. A duplex is two units with a wall separating these units. Some duplex houses have a door in the middle locked on each side to separate or open if the two units is rented as a whole. spacious & comfortable.
Estimate: 2600 plus sq.ft.
There is very little property on this side of the island these days, maybe even in town that is private and without neighbors AND WITHOUT street lights. When you drive from the property heading towards the main highway, it’s like you’ve entered the twilight zone (hustle and bustle.)
This island, Hawaii nei close to becoming a concrete island with deep rooted history and culture, we try hard to remember & preserve.
We pule ( gather together in prayer before grounding ourselves to the Aina with food
By staying here you will get a sense of something meaningful. I believe this valley, with its history has spiritual roots and each person will have a unique connection, an experience you just can’t seem to pin point. If you have any questions or concerns and need answers that you cannot find in this description and on the final cost of booking., please refer back to the description. Still cant find answers? Ok contact me:)
If you wish for resort type, we are only 8 minutes away from Koolina resorts and Kapolei shopping area.
The duplex house is located on coral, being non-arable is impossible for growing yearly crops. So we have found other ways to help pay the cost of residential water instead of paying farmers price for water that we are not given even though this property is, “AGRICULTURE 2” . Other costs as well.
Mom and I usually water plants around the property during the evenings when it's cooler weather.please don’t be alarmed if you see one of us watering plants in the evening along the outer edge of the property. The road to get here is on Lualualei Naval magazine road. Take the H-1westbound towards Waianae. The H 1 freeway will end becoming a local highway.. the first town is called Nanakuli. The beaches will be on your left. The first shopping complex you will see has a Wendy’s chain restaurant, Starbucks, and Taco Bell. There is other food and shop places in this complex, longs drugstore, a surf shop that also sells shave ice that is very affordable highly recommended, and another one that I recommend is the LNL drive-in for plate, lunches and dinners that is very affordable and the food is great. After passing this complex, you will come to another complex that has a grocery store called sack and save. At the same complex area you will see a McDonald’s, take a right at that corner of the McDonald’s you will be on Lualualei Naval magazine road this road is owned by the United States Navy this road leads to their ammunition DEPOT . This road also leads to. The kole kole pass. The military uses this past that gets them to the opposite side of the island in minutes. It is also where they have low sonar machines to detect enemy threats, underwater such as submarines. Drive on this road towards the mountain approximately one and a half miles you will pass Oahu West aggregate and a newly made road that used to be an emergency access road close to the public and only use during emergencies, but just recently been opened to the public. After passing this road, you will come to your destination.. the entryway has two Bougainvillea‘s on each side. The house is a gray one story house with the patio on the entire front of the house and across the street is nothing but mountains the neighbors that live across the street are birds and my mom’s goats that got out of their pen and is now living across the street with their 2 new kids. When you arrive, This one story house is very spacious It has a total of 5 bedrooms. Four of the five bedrooms have a/c. The fifth bedroom has a ceiling fan, full size futon. The door to each his room is a sliding glass door with curtains for privacy. The window is a floor to ceiling panel window facing the mountain, patio, and road. This room is more like a reading room but most certainly be used as a bedroom.
