Pure perfection! The setup is amazing - ample living space - spacious great room and kitchen - all open to the incredible water views. Your own private beach. Walking distance to Wauwinet Inn. We can’t wait to return!
Our stay at this amazing Nantucket beach cottage was perfection in every way. Jon was so helpful from the very beginning of the booking all the way to helping us navigate arrival through hurricane Lee. This charming house was better than the pictures show. The location was amazing with a front row view to evening sunsets. We loved being a bit out of town-so much so we preferred having dinner at the house to watch sunsets instead of eating at a restaurant. We will 100% return and highly recommend this amazing property!

Upscale Wauwinet Gem
Ideal location, beautifully appointed and perfectly maintained cottage, wonderful owners. Photos and listing description accurately reflect property- both the indoor & outdoor amenities.
Wauwinet is our favorite spot on Nantucket- beautiful, uncrowded beaches; stunning views and sunsets on the harbor; access to water sports, biking, running & walking paths.
We are a middle-aged couple and this house was the perfect size for us and we look forward to returning again next summer! We would have loved to be here when our kids were young- the second bedroom is great for kids, but would be crowded with 4 additional teens/adults ( consider 2-3 max).
The Wauwinet Inn is right next door, no transportation needed! Would recommend having a car to be able drive into Town for restaurants, shopping & nightlife.
This property did not disappoint. The view is amazing. The entire experience of this property is beyond a 5-star rating. The host/owner was very responsive and extremely helpful with questions we had at the beginning of our stay. This place needs to be your next stay when visiting Nantucket.
Great communication with the owner and the pictures are accurate. The home is well appointed and spotless. Serene and lovely location. Would love to stay again this time next year!
We so enjoyed our visit to this exceptional home! It was charming, peaceful, clean, and the views were spectacular. Our host was kind, attentive, and took great care to make sure we were comfortable. We loved walking to the private beach and also to the ocean. We enjoyed dinner on the deck at the hotel just steps away, shopping in town, the Whaling Museum, the Sconset Bluff Walk - and plenty of time together as a family at the cottage. It was the perfect getaway and we hope to return!
We had the most wonderful time at this property! We enjoyed the patio, beautiful yard and the fire pit! Easy access to the gorgeous private beach. The home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and very cozy! Well stocked with everything you might need! We cant wait to return!
My husband and I stayed at Landfall for our honeymoon in late April 2021. We loved the house so much! The amount of space was perfect - large kitchen and large living room with a great couch to hang out on and enjoy the amazing view. The house's white interior combined with the sun and view made for such a happy and peaceful atmosphere. The outdoor table and yard were perfect for watching the sunset or enjoying a drink. It was so nice to have such easy beach access too.
Overall, it was perfect for a private, scenic and relaxing Nantucket vacation!
I have to say that Jon is the MOST welcoming host I have ever met. He reminded me to check the ferry a day before arrival due to inclement weather, and he went out his ways to help me with my car problem when we arrived.
The place is nice and right by the beach. Everyone loved it!
We were thrilled with our stay at Landfall off of Wauwinet. Everything was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable to live in. The houses were so cleverly designed and fun to stay with our family. We especially loved the flexibility with the studio and main house. What a treasure to find on Nantucket with an easy walk out the backdoor to the beach to watch the sunset every evening. We look forward to returning again!
If you’re like me and enjoy being able to escape crowds to enjoy quiet peaceful mornings and evenings, Landfall couldn’t be more perfect. The house is perfectly appointed with the everything you need and beautifully decorated with modern amenities.
The owners have made a great use of space and my family of 5 didn’t have any trouble being in house together. The bunk room is exciting for kids because each bed has its own little space much like a boat bunk. The master bed has great linens and sleeps really well.
You’ll love waking up to the ocean view, having coffee on the back porch, walking a very short stroll out to the beach, lunch or happy hour at the Wauwinet, sitting on the Wauwinet Inn dock for the incredible sunset right off your backyard and falling asleep to the sound of waves.
Incredible home, great location and beautifully arranged makes it the quintessential Nantucket vacation. It’s a hidden gem.
This house was dreamy! We stayed there with our four kids (3teenagers and 11yr old) and while there was an occasional jockeying for the bathroom, the views, kitchen, and general comfort of the house more than made up for it! We will absolutely rent here again!!!
Nantucket lovers dream and anyone looking for a quiet beach vacation
We are well-versed in Nantucket property and you will not find anything else quite like this. The cottage is luxurious yet simple with breathtaking views from the living room, kitchen and porch. We have a toddler and a newborn and thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk down the beach path to swim and play without having to get in the car. The beach has calm shallow waters great for swimming and little ones. And lots of fun at low tide if you like looking for shells, hermit crabs and minnows. Aside from easy access to the beach this is one of the few properties with a very large and beautifully manicured yard. We had lots of fun running around when we decided to take a break from the beach. The quaint village of Sconset is just a short ride away - to use the playground or grab some provisions at the Sconset market.
Absolutely lovely experience beginning to end!! Beautiful view, gorgeous sunsets, large yard very, easy access to the beaches! Beautiful beach decor. Outfitted with every upscale amenity! Very relaxing and so close to The Wauwinet for meals/ drinks! We’ll visit again!
This was an amazing vacation at a perfect location. The house is beautiful. We loved every minute about it. I was especially pleased about the great communication with the home owner. He was very helpful and responsive. I am looking forward to coming back.
We enjoyed our visit. Beautifully decorated and located. Great for families!

Beautiful stay in Nantucket
We had a wonderful stay at the perfect property in Nantucket. In my opinion, this is the best part of the island. Quiet, view of the sound with a short stroll to the ocean side. Beautiful interior and great lawn to play soccer. Close to the Wauwinet to walk to dinner. Thanks, for letting us stay. Jodie Saccani

Beautiful home in beautiful location! My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous long weekend in Landfall. Everything about the home was just right including the comfortable bedding, well equipped kitchen, and indoor/outdoor living areas. We walked to the Wauwinet for dinner and also enjoyed the bar at the Wauwinet. Sunsets were spectacular!

Glamour on the beach
What a dream spot. The home itself is perfection. From the general decor to the finest details, this house has everything. Top of line linens, Top of the line kitchen, bath, everything. I even enjoyed doing laundry as their machines are better than anything Ive ever seen. The view is spectacular. We had our own private beach! The sunsets rivaled - no, they beat any sunset I've seen on this planet. We had friends staying next door at the Wauwinnet and they wanted to cancel their pricey rooms to come stay with us! (we declined). But they are booked for summer '18 already. The home simply can't be beat. Thank you for making our summer such a dream.

Perfect Nantucket Beach Cottage
This meticulously maintained beach cottage is perfect for any couple for small family. The location is unbeatable and is right next to the Wauwinet Hotel and it offers very convenient access to Great Point. We let the air out of our tires at least once per day, visited Siasconset for ice cream and went into town daily as well after spending the mornings on the beach. The decor is impeccable and the owners really take special pride and care in the property. I want to return to this delightful piece of heaven hopefully soon. The kids really enjoyed their stay at Landfall.

Relaxing home away from home
This was our first VRBO experience and unfortunately spoiled us for every other property we may stay in afterwards. The owners were very accommodating and easily reachable for questions & concerns.
The house is lovely and is exactly what you see in the photos. The location is close enough to almost be part of the Wauwinet Inn. We were attending a wedding held at the Inn and this house was much nicer than their cottages, which were almost directly across from the property. We were happy to be close enough to walk to the festivities yet still be able to have our own space. It is, as others have mentioned, about a 15-20 minute drive to town. I wouldn't rely solely on the Wauwinet shuttle to get around. The grounds are very large with direct access to the beach. There is a slightly steep section so it may be a little difficult for some to walk down. We loved the covered porch in the back and spent quite a bit of time sitting out there with a nice cold Whale Tail Pale Ale and a book. It is a cottage and you need to remember this when considering your space needs. The 2nd bedroom is very smartly configured with 4 bunks but full sized adults may find the bunks on the short side.
We were highly recommending it to other wedding guests in attendence.
Our only disappointment was in not having more time to spend at Landfall.

Fall in love at Landfall
Welcome to "Landfall."
My husband and I just enjoyed an amazing vacation with our 7 month old little boy in Nantucket at "Landfall." We are looking forward to next year already. A bit about it....
Resort-style island living achieves a new benchmark of luxury in this very romantic designer inspired cottage. Serenely beautiful in an almost impossible waterfront setting, showcasing unobstructed Wauwinet Harbor views, this home will take your breath away. Decorated with artful sophistication, the owners have not missed a detail. From a comfortable and lush, white sectional, a recessed 42 inch television, high-end appliances including a Wolf range and a Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, an Electrolux washer/dryer and a chef's kitchen complete with All-Clad pans and Spiegelau wine glasses to a Weber grill overlooking the bay and beach toys/chairs/umbrellas, this home is perfectly functional and luxurious to a fault. Fringed with lush foliage right at the doorstep, this island beauty blends the finest custom finishes with a waterside bank of windows to create a magical experience for all audiences.
The property is extremely private and quiet. It's located a short 15 minutes from town, next to the renowned Wauwinet Inn, situated with the Sound on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. The Wauwinet features a wonderful spa and a spectacular Relaix and Chateaux restaurant. For a more casual affair or a sunset cocktail, they offer a deck menu for lunch and dinner. Breakfast and brunch is not to miss either.
Whether seeking a relaxing and intimate vacation, with your toes in the sand, quiet nights and the ocean's breeze, or an adventure filled get-away complete with biking, kayaking/boating, windsurfing/kite boarding, fishing, and late night dinners downtown- "Landfall" creates a dynamic venue for all tastes.

AMAZING would be an understatement!
We rented LANDFALL the third week in August 2011 and to say we were happy would be the understatement of the year! It's hard to know where to start, everything is so fabulous!
The cottage is BEAUTIFULLY done; top of the line everything (Sub-Zero, Wolf range, freezer drawers, etc), really comfortable, completely user friendly, anything and everything you could want, and honestly it looks like it should be in a magazine, it's that great! The expansive kitchen is a chef's dream and the super-comfortable living room, with its reccessed LCD TV, was perfect for watching the morning news or, even better, watching a movie on a dreary afternoon!
The only thing better than the cottage itself was the setting! As I said, we were there in August, a normally busy time on Nantucket, yet we felt like we had the Island to ourselves. The views and sunsets from the cottage are like the ones you see in a postcard, spectacular! And what could be better than waking up, jumping in the outdoor shower overlooking the harbor, making some coffee, and walking down onto your own private beach to welcome the day?! The harbor-front beach is a wonderful place to spend the day. An excellent place to catch some sun, go for a swim, use the kayak, and perfect for children to play in the warm, calm, shallow water.
While town is a short 15 minute ride away, the Wauwinet (one of Nantucket's top hotels) is less than a 2 minute walk away. My wife and I loved going over for a drink while watching the sunset and Toppers (the restaurant) is a true dining experience. If a massage is what you want, they have a Spa as well.
The owners have thought of everything when it comes to this cottage and you certainly will not be disappointed. We hope everyone has as good an experience as we did, but just not the week we are hoping to rent it again!

Why they chose this property
We've owned a summer house in 3 different locations on Nantucket. This is the best and a forever keeper. The ability to walk to the harbor and the ocean AND to walk to the Wauwinet Inn for drinks and/or dinner, tennis and spa services is incomparable on Nantucket.
What makes this property unique
Ideal location on Nantucket. We moor our boat right out front, walk to the beach, and just play.
