About the host
Hosted by Kyra Naumoff Shields
We're both Midwesterners who love to cook, entertain, and spend time outdoors. We only rent our home when we're off traveling with our kids. When we're home, we’re usually out biking, fishing, hiking, or just enjoying the day together. We hope you get to enjoy some of the same things during your stay!
Why they chose this property
We love our little oasis right in the heart of town. Tucked away on a quiet, linden-lined street, our home is set back from the hustle and bustle, yet perfectly positioned at the crossroads of several footpaths. It’s an easy stroll to hiking trails, bus routes, the North Boulder Rec Center, grocery stores, and more. One of the things we treasure most is our welcoming community—our neighbors often gather for casual happy hours on warm summer evenings, making this place feel even more like home.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with this home because of the kitchen! It's spacious, welcoming, and gives us the perfect place to cook, gather, and display a few family heirlooms. One of our favorite features, though, is the lush backyard. Boulder summers can get warm, but thanks to the shady trees, bubbling fountains, blooming flowers, and cozy patio setup, it truly feels like a cool, refreshing oasis.
