A cozy, renovated New Suffolk waterfront cottage with stunning water views from practically every window. In the heart of the most special neighborhood in the north fork of LI, this beach cottage is perfect for families with a kids room with twin over full bunk beds, private master, cozy interior, amazing light, grill area, outdoor shower and new chef's kitchen. The adjacent studio bonus room boasts big comfy couches, sunset views over the bay and great year round indoor/outdoor hanging. With a brand new mini-split system, it's also perfect year round remote work setup with high speed WiFi. Dine on the deck with the water in front of you or stroll to one of the 2 restaurants, store (Summer Girl) or the famous New Suffolk beach just steps from your door. When staying here, your family is just a short walk away from everything your year-round vacation could need. Just a few minute's drive from the best vineyards, U-pick farm experiences, breweries and shopping, this location has something for everyone.
At the heart of the north fork wine trail, there are over 20 wineries within 5 miles of New Suffolk, several of these located just minutes away in Cutchogue and Mattituck. These include Mccall Vineyards (don't miss their burger nights all summer!), and Bedell Cellars (big covered porch is great for hanging with kids on a rainy day and beautiful fireplace to hang by all winter) and Borghese (the best Pinot on the north fork!) The village of Greenport is only 10 miles east with its many restaurants and famous Carousel.

We had a wonderful stay in New Suffolk! The cottage is perfect for small families looking to be close to the water and local eateries. House was as described. Would definitely recommend!

Adorable bayside cottage. Walk to restaurants, or through the quaint neighborhood or put your toes in the bay. A wonderful outdoor space to gather after a day on North Fork. Can’t wait to return.

This place was perfect for our pre-wedding and post-wedding stay. It has gorgeous views of the beach and great lighting for getting ready the morning of our wedding! The location is excellent for a mini getaway on the North Fork of Long Island. The owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Us and our dog will definitely be staying here again!

Great North Fork Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Exactly as pictured with beautiful beach views from the deck. We really enjoyed being able to walk to a great restaurant and staying in this ideal location that was centrally located if we want to go east or west on the island. Would love to stay again!

Our fun September Getaway!

We had such a great time staying at your cozy cottage! Enjoyed having coffee and watching the sunrise over the bay. Very comfortable and liked the extra room in the detached house, which made when having to work a bit, much more enjoyable! We brought our kayaks and had fun paddling around. Sought out live music at local vineyard and breweries. We look forward to returning soon :) Thank you for a great stay in a beautiful location!

Great Cottage!

Gabe and Tori and super hosts, so responsive and concerned. What a sweet place with a beautiful view of the bay! The beach is a 2-minute walk away. The beds are comfy. The kitchen has all the utensils and cookware you need you need for cooking local produce into a meal. Rent bikes and ride around the whole area!

Overall, it would be stupid to complain.

This is a cozy, quintessential, beach cottage perfect for my little family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds. We walked easily to the beach, docks, and amazing restaurants near by. I woke up early morning and either jumped in the bay, read in the bonus room and watched the sunrise, or fished off the docks. I grew up on the North Fork in the summers and to me, this was paradise. To be nit picky, the cottage was not cleaned by our 4p check in and had to wait in the bonus room with my family and luggage until close to 5:30. We questioned how thoroughly the place and towels were cleaned. But we were at the beach and tried not to make a big deal. The property could use some attention to landscaping as there is an over growth of weeds in the back which blocked the shower and the overgrown hedges block the view to an extent. A board is sticking up in the back which was a semi-hazard but really not a big deal since my kids didnt go back there. The grill only works on less than half the grills so it was hard to grill. The flowers in the front are beautiful. There were kids beach toys, a beach cart, and chairs which we were thankful for. Overall, a great beach vacation!

Great relaxing location with amazong views

We had a great stay at the cottage. It's a small, but very well appointed cottage, with a large bonus room for rainy days. The neighborhood and location are fantastic. It's a short walk to a soft sand swimming beach, which is a rare occurance on the North Shore. Two restaurants and a oyster distributor only a few steps away. Views from almost eveywhere in the house of the bay. The owners wagon broke part way through the week (normal wear and tear) and the owner had a new one delivered within a few hours so we didnt have to carry our gear to the beach.

Beautiful setting & responsive host

Our family stayed here for 10 days. The space was perfect for our family's needs. We purchased a puppy after we had booked this trip and when I checked the listing I was happy to find that small dogs under 20 lbs are welcome! I didn't see any verbage in the listing that indicated a pet fee, so we brought our puppy with us. 2 days into our stay the puppy was brought to Gabe's attention, and he was very gracious, offerring to only charge us the pet fee for the days moving forward. Gabe was very responsive throughout our stay. Although he lives in what seemed like the orginal main house next door to the cottage, we would not have known he and his family were there - showing respect for our privacy, yet attentive whenever we contacted him (which was only a couple of times). The house is cozy bright and clean, and the bonus room was truly an added bonus! It offerred a peaceful reprieve for each of us at different times throughout our stay. The setting is very private with tall hedges surrounding the property, but also offerred beautiful views of the cove. The landscaping was lovely and well appointed for the space provided. The weather was both unreasonably warm & humid, and/or rainy. This required the use of the air-conditioning units almost 100% of the time. Given the small space, the window units made it noisy while indoors and outside. Central air would be a nice improvement. There are oth minor improvements that could be made, but nothing worth mentioning here.
