  • Macari Vineyard Wedding weekend!

"This was a weekend to remember because it was our daughter's wedding. The house was the perfect setting for pictures and also spacious enough for all the bridesmaids to get ready for the wedding. The house is so charming and beautiful. As other people have noted the pictures do not do it justice. Loved the wonderful big porch to relax, the spacious, updated kitchen and the master bedroom with the beautiful big bathroom. The house is centrally located in the heart of Long Island Wine and farm country. Gary will definitely be hearing back from us for another stay next year!"

  • well cared for, attractive very comfortable

"We had a lovely time. The cottage has everything we needed. The owner was very responsive to things we needed like fixing the reception on the tv when the last tenants changed it. Our only difficulty were the beds for older backs. The lovely beach with lifeguard and an enclosed swimming area made up for the stiffness in the morning. Our dog loved the water at a second beach nearby with no lifeguard but swimable. Shops, fresh fish and fresh fruit and vegetable stands are nearby and the wine tasting abounds."

  • Bliss

"This cottage exceeds its description! It is easily the most artistic, charming vacation cottage I have ever rented. I never went to the nearby "public" beach, just donned my water shoes, climbed down the swim ladder, and was in heavenly salt water multiple times per day. New Suffolk is the chillest town, and the area is bursting with farm fresh produce and beautiful wine, fresh seafood, and glorious sights. The large deck hangs over the water, and immediately puts one at ease. Gathering here with friends, around the big outdoor table, watching the Wednesday boat race, has built unforgettable memories. The owner is very very responsive, and just wants us to all enjoy this work of art that she has created. There is one neighbor, but the rest of the view is open sky and salt water. I envy you if you rent this place, it is quirky, but in the most wonderful way. I will say, that it felt very spacious because of the large outdoor space. Books abound, and wild bunnies, Osprey, and all kinds of water birds can be spotted in this unspoiled location. The local restaurant, (one block away!) is wonderful for vegetarians and omnivores alike. For a special evening, do not miss North Fork Table and Inn."

  • Beautiful and unique home

"This cottage was a wonderful place to stay. From the crashing of the waves that you can hear overnight while sleeping to the most glorious sunsets that you can imagine over the sound looking out towards the Conneticut you really couldn't ask for more. Highlights also included the private ocean beach and the incredible bath tub with a view out over the water and of course the abundance of natural wildlife including the family of bunnies and the fishing osprey Good place to switch off and forget about your real life . Stephen and Donna are very friendly and great to talk too. Easy going and made everything very straightforward ! This is a unique spot !"
