  • great for family gathering

"This is a quaint old house with charming details that make it unique as well as cozy. It is a great place for a family gathering. When our son had his wedding in Orient this October, we rented the house to accommodate the aunts and uncles flying in from out of state. The four bedrooms provided sleeping space for everyone and the multiple bathrooms were a real plus when getting ready for the wedding. The newly renovated large, comfortable kitchen was perfect for family meals and planning activities. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive to any issues that came up…we called her on a chilly evening because the gas fireplace wouldn’t start up; she arranged for a service call the first thing the next morning so we could enjoy the fireplace that evening! Any questions texted to her were answered promptly and she provided suggestions for the various restaurants and wineries in the area. This was definitely a positive experience!!"

  • Beautiful house, great location, friendly owner

"The house was every bit as beautiful as advertised, and more so. The top features of the house are 1) the big open kitchen with high-end appliances (Sub-Zero fridge, Miele dishwasher, double oven), and 2) the big backyard with a fenced-in lawn, pool, and swingset. It was a great house for an extended family get-together like ours, which included a small child and a dog. The owner Sean was incredibly friendly and responsive by text and email. The house is conveniently located to downtown Southampton (a healthy walk or a very short drive) and is in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. We didn't even need to use the extra 1.5 bedrooms in the pool house while we were there, but it would have been a great accommodation for additional family members or for a nanny. We were very happy with the rental and would definitely stay there again!"

  • Bliss

"This cottage exceeds its description! It is easily the most artistic, charming vacation cottage I have ever rented. I never went to the nearby "public" beach, just donned my water shoes, climbed down the swim ladder, and was in heavenly salt water multiple times per day. New Suffolk is the chillest town, and the area is bursting with farm fresh produce and beautiful wine, fresh seafood, and glorious sights. The large deck hangs over the water, and immediately puts one at ease. Gathering here with friends, around the big outdoor table, watching the Wednesday boat race, has built unforgettable memories. The owner is very very responsive, and just wants us to all enjoy this work of art that she has created. There is one neighbor, but the rest of the view is open sky and salt water. I envy you if you rent this place, it is quirky, but in the most wonderful way. I will say, that it felt very spacious because of the large outdoor space. Books abound, and wild bunnies, Osprey, and all kinds of water birds can be spotted in this unspoiled location. The local restaurant, (one block away!) is wonderful for vegetarians and omnivores alike. For a special evening, do not miss North Fork Table and Inn."

  • Fantastic location and home

"This is the perfect home to enjoy beautiful New Suffolk beach! The deck is amazing for morning coffee and enjoying the boats the that go by in the evenings for a great sunset and BBQ! The beach is fantastic, especially with young children, my 8 year old swam all day long looking for shells, diving for "puffer fish" and playing on the beach with new friends she met during the day at the beach. Case's and Legends right around the corner and you are set with some dining options as well as wineries, Braun's and Love Lane all near by. The house has everything you need to make your vacation easy and memorable. Our family can't wait to go back next year!"
