  • Excellent Rental

"This property is exactly as advertised, with a family gathering kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and a great pool area. What you don't see from the pictures is how each bedroom is really a suite, with lots of privacy for groups or extended families. Every thing we needed for our stay was provided and very clean. The pool was warm and inviting, and well cleaned for our stay after a storm. The location is quiet but close enough to all the action, and the Red Horse Market is conveniently nearby for your eat-in supplies. Michael is excellent to deal with, very responsive to all inquiries. He even sent us our forgotten eyeglasses after we departed (thanks so much:)) We have rented many properties through HomeAway and VRBO in the US and abroad, and this one was a first class home and rental experience."

  • Lovely! Needs a Bridal Shower!

"We came in to escape the city with our 2 adult daughters for Labor Day! Serene setting. The home is clean, nice furnishings, granite in kitchen, new bathroom. It is a lake view versus lake front - there is a house in front off to the right and a shed to the left, but you can still see the lake off at an angle. We couldn't get the WIFI to work, so Richard sent someone to fix it Friday evening. We never did get the cable to work, which was only an issue as that was the weekend the hurricane was expected to hit Long Island, and we wanted to see the weather. We planned to grill dinner Friday night , after exploring some vineyards. We checked before we left, and the propane tank was empty and there wasn't a spare in the shed as listed. We filled the tank, had texted Richard, and he had a replacement tank there by the time we returned. He re-imbursed us the $30 we spent. The one kayak that was on the beach was old, dirty and filled with water. They brought us 2 additional ones by morning, but both of those had water in the hull and needed to be drained before use. It was a lovely kayak trip around the quiet lake! The 2 bikes in the shed were old school and covered in leaves and cob webs. They brought us 2 updated bikes, which provided for a great bike ride into town. The kitchen supplies were very basic - hence the reason for needing a "bridal shower" to refresh the supplies. The plates/bowls were all mis matched. No platters or cutting board. Random bath towels. No napkins. Ran out of toilet paper. Richard was very responsive to our needs, but it we wanted to simply relax, and not be texting him for basic things or run out to the store for toilet paper. It was a super fun weekend and a lovely home, but just needed some re-stocking. Be clear ahead of time if you plan to grill, want better kayaks and bikes. Despite our issues, we would rent it again."

  • Emergency accommodation

"I needed to be in New Suffolk for personal reasons off season and rented this lovely home. It was more than I could have hoped for in terms of location, literally right on top of the water, and in its condition, brand new renovation. It is very private and serene, yet within walking distance of restaurant, shop, post office and beach. For a family to spend the summer here, would be difficult to find better. The owners are more than accommodating. Even if you never move from your armchair, the ever changing water views are captivating. Everything rated ten out of ten. Exceptional and unique in every way."

  • Loved it

"Debbie Trail Review Normally I don’t write reviews but on this stay I just had to rave. Several weeks ago, I had the privilege of staying with my family at a fabulous house we rented from Hampton Properties. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, things always look better in the pictures. But, truly, this house was more than I had ever anticipated. We opened the door to a spacious home with lots of windows showcasing gorgeous views of bright, flowering bushes. The home was beautifully appointed with lovely, comfortable furniture with a modern touch. The atmosphere was warm and homey. We felt immediately at peace. Every bedroom had its own artistic flavor. The beds were comfortable the towels were fluffy. We all slept very well. All appliances worked perfectly. In the Master Bedroom there was power everywhere so we could run our electronics or plug them up right next to us. There was lots of closet space. Everything was so well thought out. The hot tub was luxurious, the pool clean and delicious. The setting was private and quiet. There was a notebook of things to do and places to eat in the Hamptons which we took advantage of. We wanted for absolutely nothing except to return as soon as possible."
