Great spot for individuals and couples

The location is beautifully nestled in the hills above Lake Adger and is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle. Deborah was super helpful and even offered to assist with laundry. We enjoyed our stay.

Hi Tracy, I'm sorry your review got cut off. Here is the rest that you sent me. I had never been on a kayak before, but had so much fun paddling all around Lake Adger on the host's kayaks! I'm actually looking to buy my own kayak now. If you do take the kayaks out, paddle to the right out of the cove, and keep paddling until you hear the waterfall on the left... great photo opportunity! This place was outstanding! Our family had a great time enjoying the lake, kayaking, and fishing. The host was incredibly welcoming and informative, greeting us upon arrival and recommending some fantastic local dining spots—which truly lived up to the hype. Great Quiet Getaway

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. The house is very clean and the host is very helpful. We enjoyed the quiet lake atmosphere and the lake water temperature was perfect. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind.

Weekend getaway

It's a beautiful home, my family did not leave the property much as we wanted to enjoy the lake. We brought our own things for the lake but the home is fully equipped with kayaks, paddle boards and even floaties for you to enjoy. Our host was wonderful and very attentive, definitely loved our stay.

Great location, easy to access all the area has to offer. Really soft bath towels! So great to be able to walk out the door and go for a paddle. Deborah was a lovely and considerate host. When she saw we weren't back before dark, she'd make sure the porch lights were on for us. Would recommend & plan on staying there again.

Beautiful lake house in a serene and quiet setting

We had a great vacation at Deborah's place. Deborah is a very gracious host and gave us a lot of tourist information about the surrounding areas. The family enjoyed kayaking and visiting Chimney Rock State Park. If you are planning to come in the Fall, definitely check out the Blue Ridge Parkway hiking trails and get some apples at local apple orchards.

Fall Perfection!

Beautiful property with all the amenities. Gorgeous fall colors with reflections on the water and an abundance of nature. Favorite spot was the expansive and private porch. Deborah's place

A great place if you want to get away from the city and enjoy peace, quiet, nature, the outdoors. The place has a huge porch that overlooks the lake. I spent the majority of my week on the porch taking photos of nature. Deborah makes sure you have everything you need, including several pieces of water equipment, like kayaks, tubes, ect.

Beautiful and relaxing!

This was a remote, peaceful, most relaxing location you can ever find. Watching bird over the water to deer walking by and a quiet restful spot. It was clean and provided everything we needed. We had breakfast on the porch with sunrise and relaxed watching the stars at night. Deborah was friendly and helpful, a true delight to sit and talk. We highly recommend you try staying with Deborah and let your body and soul rejuvenate
