Perfect place for sweethearts

Our secluded and cozy cabin, Carra’s Cabin, is one of three of our Sandy Cut Cabins options. It’s furnished with one bedroom, full sized bathroom and updated kitchen accommodations. The deck features a private Hot Tub, a grill and outdoor dining area for the perfect ending to a perfect day of exploring.

Carra’s Cabin is best suited for 2 adults, not suitable for children of any age. The driveway is steep at the bottom but levels off. Follow the driveway to the end for Carra’s Cabin. We have 2 other cabins on the property but each is secluded and private. The lockbox is located on the cabin near the hot tub and the key fits the french door.

The hot tub isn’t a pool, no additives please, low water damages the unit. Emergency shut off only. Keep covered if not using. Don’t touch WARM button
Strip bed, leave blankets folded. Hang wet towels, wash dishes. Trash bin is on back side of cabin/bagged trash only. Don’t use good towels to clean.
Fires allowed in fire pit only, check for burning bans. All pets must be leashed outside/no Pits. Excessive pet cleaning results in $50 additional fee

We absolutely loved our stay. Saluda was the most adorable little town, we may have found a new favorite destination to visit again. Location of the cabin was perfect; quiet and secluded, but only a couple minutes from town! The cabin was comfy cozy for a kid-free couples weekend, but we would have been just as comfortable if we had our daughter with us. It was perfect and we will most likely be coming back again.

Very quiet and peaceful. Loved my stay and will probably be back! Cabin is close to downtown Saluda and easy to get to Flat Rock and Hendersonville.

The hot tub on the back deck was amazing, it is a very secluded area and peaceful. The cabin was as advertised. The host was excellent at comunicating and getting in touch with us. The only downside was the location off the main road. It was a 1 and 1/2 mile drive down a gravel road that took 10-15 minutes each time and the driveway to the property was a very steep and I mean STEEP drive up to the cabin. You get the pucker factor driving up to tha cabin. Overall we had a good time but because of the time and road situation to the cabin this will be our only visit .

Extremely cute cabin, the area is so close to plenty of cool trails and waterfalls, and after you can relax in the very clean hot tub. The local restaurants were amazing, we got great food and live music.

We had a lovely time celebrating our 25th Anniversary! It was so quiet and peaceful! We chose to get supplies in near by Hendersonville and stay in. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cater for ourselves. A perfect hideaway for couples looking to get away from it all!

Very cozy cabin for two! The hot tub was great and the amenities were very helpful for our stay. Since it rained the whole weekend, we were grateful for the Smart TV and the ability to hook up the Switch to it. We drove out to Asheville the first day and it really was not too far away. If you are not a confident driver, just be aware that the driveway coming up to this cabin is quite steep. But the first part is paved which makes it easier. A very nice anniversary stay overall!

The cabin was cozy and welcoming. The location is very convenient to Saluda, Flat Rock, and Hendersonville. We enjoyed the fire pit area and would highly recommend staying here.

We’re glad you enjoyed Carra’s Cabin but we were very disappointed with the mess that was left inside. The cabin reeked of marijuana, there were a couple dozen pills lying on the counter and a big mess to clean up. You also managed to get into our locked storage closet and helped yourself to what you wanted. We won’t be hosting you again.

Clean and nice hot tub. Be ready for a long drive from the main road, but the seclusion is really nice. Would stay there again!

We have lived in Saluda for over 25 years. In the early 70’s Robert was Saluda’s first health care provider. After serving as the first Medical Director of the Saluda Medical Center he returned to his family occupation and his true passion…flying. His life as an ‘ag pilot’ has taken the entire family on remarkable journeys across the country for years. We love Saluda and nature and wanted to share that with others so we purchased the property and built Sandy Cut Cabins.

Nature is all around! Lots of hiking opportunities, tubing on the river, waterfalls, wineries, and Biltmore House are just some of reasons to visit Carra’s Cabin.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Secluded, quiet, peaceful, charming, river flowing along the road. The driveway is steep but 4 wheel drive/AWD isn’t required to drive up. Pickup trucks and hybrid vehicles tend to have more trouble with the incline. However, most of our guests manage to drive up without too much difficulty.
