Charming cottage in the gorgeous Smoky Mountains
With serene views, this cozy house is situated on just under 30 acres, near Wautaga Lake in the beautiful Smokey Mountains. Local to Doe Mountain Recreational Area, Wautaga Lake, Boone, Johnson City, and the Cherokee National Forest, this spot is ideal for lake, hiking, and other nearby outdoor activities. Don’t want to go out? Everything you need to work or to relax and reset is right here. Be sure to retreat to the deck to grill or to sit and gaze at the mountain views. Bring your ATV/RV/Boat.
Cross Mountain Cottage was recently renovated with comfort and seclusion in mind. The larger bedroom has a queen bed with a luxurious memory foam mattress, fresh linens, and windows overlooking the pasture and mountains. The smaller bedroom is cozy and bright with a twin-over-full bunk bed and a twin trundle. The fully-renovated bathroom is located between the two bedrooms.
The main area is open, bright, and airy, and features a fully-equipped kitchen, table with seating for four, a full-sized washer and dryer, and a sectional sofa that comfortably seats four or more. Step out onto the covered front porch to enjoy your coffee in the rocking chair, or onto the deck where you will find a gas grill and breathtaking mountain views.
