Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy this oceanfront condo with your own private balcony. Nestled between the Famous Daytona Beaches and the Historic Ponce Inlet. Whether getting away for the weekend or working remotely this condo a perfect spot.

Sorry no trailer parking allowed at this building.

***Due to the damage incurred in the recent hurricanes at this condominium, the pool and beach access is closed and inoperable at this time. We have not received a re-opening date yet.

Cute unit in an ocean front building overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and beach. On site parking and easy access. Fully furnished and stocked.

Guests will be provided a door code at 8pm the night prior to check-in.

Located in the heart of Daytona Beach Shores with easy access to ocean, fishing, surfing, shopping, dining and entertainment. You may also enjoy attractions in the area such as: surfing, live music, fishing, boating or enjoying the speedway. Boat rentals and charter to disappearing island or canoe & Kayak rentals. Navigate down the intercoastal or Spruce creek River.

Ample chances to see many of the wildlife animals such as dolphins, manatee, allegators, fish, turtles and more. plenty of fishing areas and bird watching towers.

You will most likely want to have a car but there places you can walk to as well.

Damage Waiver Disclaimer:

I. AGREEMENT
On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.
Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.
This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.
II. EXCLUSIONS
This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:
1. Acts of God
2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear
3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250
4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property
5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal
6. Damage to a motorized vehicle
7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items
This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.
This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.
III. CONDITIONS
Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.
Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.
This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.
This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.
This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.
Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.
If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.
IV. DEFINITIONS
You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.
Condos unfortunately do not allow any trailer parking.

Great stay in Daytona

We had a great stay at Pirates Cove, great condo, plenty of room, plenty of extras for cooking and baking. Very near tons of restaurants, close enough to the speedway. Love the beach. Great host.

Short stay, perfect for what we needed

This condo was perfect for my family, and Mom as we passed through Daytona beach. We had plenty of room to spread out after being crammed in the car for 18+ hours. The views from the balconies were breathtaking. We did struggle at first to find our way on to the beach, but once we did it was a 3-5 minute walk. If our stay had been longer we would have made good use out of the beach chairs and other amenities that the host provides. The host was kind and easy to communicate with.

Great Rental

The original rental had a fire on the roof but not close to our room. They found us a compatible if not better place within a few hours and then moved us back into our original rental when it was ready. Everything was excellent

Our stay here was excellent. The host was very polite and responsive, and the unit was exactly as described. It's just a 2-minute walk to the beach, and everything you need is less than ten minutes away. The unit was well-equipped with plenty of pots, pans, silverware, towels, and beach toys. Although the unit is quite small, the top floor view more than makes up for it. We will definitely be booking again!

No hot water. The last day we were there we could finally take a shower. We had to get them to clean the room when we got there. It was very run down . Would not stay there again.

Daytona Beach Shores 2025

The check in process was pretty confusing. We were given 2 different, wrong, key codes and it was after 9pm, so we were tired, but the girl that finally answered the phone gave us yet another code that did open the door. Once Inside we were pleased. The rooms were comfortable and the view was awesome. They need to update some of the information on the vrbo app, like the pool and workout room were not available and the laundry room had one stack washer and dryer which was free to guest but very slow. Minor things but still annoying. All in all a good stay.

The most unrelaxing vacation ever

This was the most unrelaxing stay i have ever had and i have rented thru VRBO and Vacasa numerous times for the past 5 years. My 22 yr old daughter and i took an early flight into Orlando and drove the 1.20 to Daytona. Got into the condo wanting to take a well needed nap. We got in and found that there was roof construction on our side. We were on the top floor. No one warned us. I'm from NY, it sounded like a jackhammer above us. Went on until 5pm. The next morning it started at 7:30am. Same for friday. We went to the beach. 3 out of 4 beach chairs were broken. As much as the location was great. The place was so dated i would NEVER ever stay here again unless this changed. And I will be coming here the same time in to April for the next 2 years. Sad I couldnt recommend Kriata was very nice. . KRISTA

Great Vacation

We enjoyed our time here on the beach. It is definitely worth the price for this place. The check in process was as simple as it gets and the unit was very clean on arrival. The host was very responsive to any questions I had. It is great accomodations for a family. Everything you need for a day on the beach is in the closet! The listing notes that the pool is closed, but doesn't make it clear that the pool would be your beach access. We had to exit the building through the front door and navigate our way around the building. Not a big deal for us, but I would imagine it would be more difficult to get there if you had smaller children and all of their things. The laundry facility is not super easy to find and you will need to bring a lot of quarters. The functional equipment in the "fitness area" consisted of a treadmill, an inversion table, and one dumbbell, so if you like to get your workout in on vacation I would advise making other plans. Overall I thought it was a great place to spend our vacation and definitely a great price for a unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

A little mislead/disappointed

The property managers had excellent communication and the condo was spotless. However, I was a bit disappointed or maybe felt mislead. I contacted the website before booking bc I was traveling with my 88 year old father who has mobility issues. I was assured he’d have no problem. The one handicapped ramp was too steep for him to navigate on his own and lacked handrails. Further, this unit is located on the complete opposite end of the building making for an extremely long walk for him. Once he made it to the room, it took much courage on his part to leave and come back again. Further, the listing says there is a washer and dryer. There is in the basement level and it’s coin operated. I believe this to be misleading also. It’s a very small unit, approximately 850 sq ft. The 2nd bedroom is almost part of the living room with only sliding slatted doors separating it from the living/dining area. That bedroom also lacks a closet. I don’t believe more than 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small kids could be comfortable here. The cabinets in the kitchen are well stocked with dishes, pots, pans gadgets etc. it’s so well stocked that there isn’t any room to put your Someone put a lot of effort creating some very nice crochet pieces in the condo. The kitchen has every glass, mug, plate, pot or pan you could wish for. There just isn’t any place to put your cereal, chips, bread etc. The dual balconies are great as are the dual ac units.
