About this property
Pool Table, Ping Pong, Pet Friendly, Fantastic Location
We love coming up with our family and friends and think you will too. The floor plan is great for multiple families or groups with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 living spaces. The upstairs has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is a ensuite. The downstairs is the same but one of the bedrooms is a bunk room with 4 beds. If you need an extra beds, you'll find a pull out couch in the downstairs and there is a trundle bed if you need a place for another child. You'll find a hot tub on the deck next to the screened-in porch and a pool table and ping pong table downstairs. We have seating inside for 16 as well as dining for 8 more on the deck and porch.
In the winter months, we would strongly recommend 4-wheel drive vehicles for the secondary roads and for our driveway, which is steep. We have snow shovels there and suggest bringing snow melt if the forecast calls for snow or sleet. You will need to use those tools should there be weather!
We welcome up to 2 dogs and there is a pet fee.

Great place for three families to enjoy time together. The teens loved the basement with their own bedrooms and pool table. Adults had plenty of space in three bedrooms on the main floor. Sunset view from the porch was beautiful. Highly recommend!
This was so nice for our family gathering. The main floor had the living room, Kitchen, dining room, and three bedrooms (2 baths), and downstairs had 3 bedrooms (2 baths). Perfect for those who could climb stairs and those who couldn't could stay on the main level. The location was very difficult to find as there were no markers on the highway to see the driveway, only a small sign nailed to a tree-and very limited parking. We had 5 vehicles, and anyone who visited had to park down the hill. The interior was nice enough, though rustic setting, could use some updating. We had to take our own trash home as there was no pick up service there, but there was directions to a trash disposal site around the area. There was plenty of dishes, pots, and pans-kitchen towels and dishsoap. Hot tub worked good and was very clean.Rooms were clean, plenty of paper products. Would rate this one a 7 out of 10.

Well I normally don't respond but I must say I was a little hurt by the interior comment. I redecorated a few years ago and went to great pains to make the house look charming. I scrolled through endless sites online, scoured antique stores, and spent loads of time picking out furniture. I won't stay at a place with ugly comforters! I hope you will find it as cozy and unique as I do :-)
Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen well appointed. Driveway was a little treacherous with our 11 person van. Cupboards full of games. Nice outdoor space screened in porch.
Four Seasons is comfortable and well-stocked. The separate living room downstairs was great for some kid/adult separation. Ping pong and pool tables and the hot tub are fun to keep everyone entertained.
Perfect for a large family. Lots of seating, tables, and the screened-in porch was a big plus! Close to several charming towns. It was a great vacation!

This property was exactly what we needed for our trip to Boone and the surrounding areas. The owners were great to deal with and the house did not disappoint.

About the host
Hosted by Hunter Buxton
We rented places in the mountains of North Carolina for years and years until we were able to buy a place of our own. We loved sharing the beauty and activities this area offers with our three children. If you would like recommendations for secret swimming holes, great near-by hikes or restaurants, let us know and we will tell you what we have learned.
Why they chose this property
We chose this house because it was big enough to hold lots of friends and family and we could not ask for a better location. The pavement ends right by our drive. Going left out of the drive and you can take a lovely walk with the dog -- it's a very short and gorgeous drive to the parkway, fishing , hiking , etc. If you go right out of the drive, you are 5-10 minutes from either Boone or Blowing Rock and all the amenities of those areas. We have a view from the screened porch and are surrounded by trees.
What makes this property unique
I've tried to make the house feel distinctive and added lots to do like pool, ping pong and games. My favorite part is the large screended in porch.
