This 3 bedroom home with a guest cottage (4 BR House!!) is on a large corner lot in the desirable Vanderhorst Plantation. Custom landscaping and architecture make this the ultimate island destination.

Featuring custom built-ins, 10 foot ceilings, oak flooring, and walls of windows, the living room is certain to be the central gathering place for friends and family. This space opens onto the covered deck and screened porch overlooking the pool. The gourmet kitchen is beautifully appointed with granite countertops, oak cabinetry, glass tile backsplash, and large island. Professional Series GE appliances, including a side-by-side cabinet front refrigerator, warming drawer, and Dacor gas cooktop, are sure to inspire a delightful creation.

The king master suite, located on the first floor has access the large deck. The adjoining master bathroom offers his and her Carrara marble sinks, an separate dressing vanity, large soaking tub, and walk-in glass shower. This room is sure to pamper and rejuvenate.

There are two additional bedrooms upstairs. One guest bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has five twin beds perfect for the extended family. We had a wonderful vacation at this property. The home was beautiful and was even nicer than we anticipated. The pool was great and we enjoyed it on a daily basis. The home was large enough to accommodate a much larger group. We would definitely move this home to the top of our list for future rentals.

Has it all.

I loved this property because it was important to family members that we all had private and shared space. The beach was a short bike ride away. It was great to also have a pool and hot tub--even a little grassy area for Frisbee!

Just what we hoped for

I chose this home hoping to please 10 other ladies on our 9th annual Kiawah marathon girls trip. We required a luxurious home and a hot tub. We weren't disappointed it's a beautiful home, very big and expansive, with wide stairs, wide hallways, coffered , high ceilings, comfy furniture, lots of marble. The guest house was a nice touch to give privacy. The master bathroom was great , with the really nice shower.

Of course, the hot tub was the most important thing. It was great, and when we couldn't get the bubbles to work, the after hours number was answered promptly, and a repairman came out within about 30 minutes to make everything wonderful. I really appreciate that kind of service and will keep that in mind when I make reservations next year.

This property is perfect! Well appointed, great amenities, nicely decorated, large pool with hottub. The home has a nice layout , and accomodated 3 families (12 people) extremely well. It is an easy bikeride to the beach- we rented bike trailers which helped us transport items necessary for the beach. We have been coming to Kiawah for over 20 years, and this home is one of the nicest that we have stayed in. We were very pleased with our choice. Absolutely beautiful!

With more than 10,000 natural wooded acres and 10 miles of pristine beaches, Kiawah is an island to be explored. And explore you will. Kiawah boasts five championships golf courses. Of course, the crown jewel is the famed Ocean Course. Known for it’s unrelenting play, the course was site of the 1991 Ryder Cup, the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and site of the 2012 PGA Championship. If golf isn’t your game, Kiawah was recently ranked #1 by Tennis Magazine in its list of the “Greatest US Tennis Resorts.” There are several different restaurants that Kiawah has to offer, as well. The Bohicket Marina is nearby where you can rent boats, fishing charters, boat charters, kayak rentals, etc. Freshfields Village contains your local grocery store and many shops and restaurants.
