Pine Lake ~ Relaxing Log Cabin Retreat Plainwell, MI

Relax and unwind at our peaceful lakeside log cabin. Our home, located on Lake 3 of Pine Lake, features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a well-appointed kitchen and ample dining and living space. Outside, enjoy our double-decker deck with plenty of seating so you can take in the beautiful lake views and unwind. In addition to 52' of private beach area, we have a great outdoor firepit and a dock for easy lake access and fishing. Rent or bring your personal watercraft and enjoy!

(Please note that there are three (3) exterior security cameras that monitor the front of the garage/street area, the walkway from the garage to the entry door of the home and the downstairs slider door. There are no internal security cameras.)

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels, and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Feel free to sign our guest book before you go. Please be sure return garage door opener.
If grill was used, please be sure to clean it before leaving (there will be a $50 fee if grill is not cleaned) and shut off the propane.
Replace any outdoor furniture covers you may have removed, put the umbrella down and return anything that you may have used from the garage (paddleboards, life jackets, corn hole, etc.) to the garage.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
- Quiet hours run 10pm to 8am. - No smoking/vaping/pets in/on property. - May be asked to show government issued ID. - There is a 4 car parking limit
- Total number of occupants will not exceed quoted # unless agreed to before arrival (booker will be charged $100/day for each unregistered guest).
- All trash/perishables must be disposed of and dishes washed before leaving. - Only beds that were used should be stripped/placed in laundry area.

Why they chose this property

We choose this area because we have family in Michigan and we wanted a place to call home when we come to visit for extended periods -- and this lake house was the perfect answer to that for us. We have a place large enough where our family can come and stay, play and make all kinds of memeories. What we enjoy most about this area is that it is quiet, peaceful and beautiful -- a place to truly slow down and get away from the hustle and bustle of life -- but it is just a quick trip to be able to go out to eat, grocery shop or enjoy a wonderful ice cream cone.

What makes this property unique

Welcome to our log cabin lake home retreat! Walking in, you will enjoy our upper level which has an open concept kitchen, eating and living area with plenty of windows to enjoy those incredible lake views. Cooking is a breeze in our well-equipped kitchen which features stainless steel appliances and a coffee corner. The kitchen is connected to the dining area that has a table that can be extended to fit up to 10 people and a slider that opens up to the upper level deck where you will find plenty of outdoor seating and a grill. Relax in the living area, which has a large-screen TV and an electric fireplace to stay warm and cozy on those cold winter or cool summer nights, plus several board games to play. Down the hall is a full bathroom and two bedrooms. The first bedroom features two sets of bunk beds with a pullout drawer for extra storage space. Across the hall is the second bedroom with a comfy, queen-sized bed.

Downstairs you will find a wonderful family room that features a second full-sized refrigerator and large-screen TV. Enjoy playing board games at our game table or exit the slider to enjoy s’mores at our outdoor fire pit area. The family room has a pull-out couch that has a comfy queen mattress (extra blankets and sheets for the pull-out bed can be found in the closet of the third bedroom). The third bedroom features a cozy, queen-sized bed and has access to the washer and dryer and an updated full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
